When tea and murder make a bitter brew …Maddie Morgan’s life is going up in flames. She’s got ex-husband troubles, a mother-in-law feud, and a cantankerous parrot to contend with. But just as old doors close, a new one opens, beginning with the sudden death of Maddie’s grandmother and an unexpected inheritance. Moving to a new town, Maddie rolls up her sleeves and prepares to revive a run-down … prepares to revive a run-down tourist attraction that could one day be returned to its former glory as a Japanese tea garden.
But getting the tea garden up and running won’t be easy, not with someone trying to sabotage her efforts. Worse still, there’s a murderer on the loose and corpses are popping up like daisies in the tea garden! Can Maddie capture the killer before they strike again? Or will her life, along with her freshly brewed new business opportunity, get sucked down the drain?

fun book.
I enjoyed all the books in this series. Characters are colorful. A fun mystery series.
Easy reading
A great book! I loved it!
Good series
1Yhe book was a fun read.
A light entertaining read that will hold the reader’s interest. Not sufficiently action pack to merit ‘crime label. But definitely fits the Cosy mystery.
It was an ok book. I don’t care for books you have to read the next one to find out what happens.
I enjoyed it and thought the story line was great.
I enjoyed the story line very much. The cleverness of the way it was written made it very enjoyable.
Have wanted fun, silly and entertaining reads during these hot tropical days. This was fun.
Good cozy mystery. You really care the the tea garden is brought back to it’s original glory. Really didn’t guess why the death occurred until the end. It was a surprise
I really had a case of nerves with the heroine. Everyone seemed to be against her. It was fairly good though. I wonder if having someone around that expected you to eat their bad cooking would help me lose weight?
A fast and entertaining read.
This was a very enjoyable read. It was well written and ended with you wanting to read the next book in the series.
Cozy mystery
I enjoyed this book. A light reading mystery and I enjoyed the characters. A nice difference with the Japanese Garden being the setting.
Love the mystery to guess who done it!
Great new cozy mystery. First in a new series. It moved so fast that I read it in hours.
Our heroine has major life changes happening to her. Inherits tea garden in time to start a ‘new you’. While starting new life, the murder happens and and she has to figure it out. So read the book. You will be done before you know it.
Hoping that will have more Japanese tea gardens information in coming books. Hoping that titles in this series will make sense. In this book no one sips tea; the tea garden is plants. this why I am puzzled.
This is my honest and freely given review for the ARC I received.
