From USA Today bestselling author Willow Winters comes a heart-wrenching, edge-of-your-seat gripping, romantic suspense. I should feel shame for not wanting this to end, but he doesn’t want it to end either. When the darkness sets in, the flames all flickered out, and the loud click of the locks signal it’s over, that’s when reality comes back. The war. The drugs. All of the lies that leave a … the lies that leave a tangled web for me to get lost in.
I don’t want any of it.
I only want him. Jase Cross. My enemy. And yet, the only person I trust.
With broad shoulders and a smoldering look in his dark eyes, Jase is a man born to be powerful.
I shouldn’t give him more power than he already has.
Jase Cross will be my downfall.

Oh. Wow. This book was a double dose of awesomeness! I mean, the first Irresistible Attraction novel, A Single Glance, was fantastic, but this second one felt as if W. Winters doubled down one the romance and the suspense and everything in between. The wait between the series starter and A Single Kiss was just a little over two months, and while that isn’t necessarily short–it felt like forever to me, but then, a couple of weeks would have felt that way to me as well–Winters made sure that the wait would be worthwhile by rewarding readers for their patience with a kickass story and the relationship between the main characters has reached scorching levels even as both Jase Cross and Bethany Fawn struggle with the discoveries they’ve made and the doubts that continue to swirl around them. Basically, this book is a must-read, but you need to read the series in order, and yes, it ends in a cliffy.
I know I’ve got a whole lot of catching up to do with as far as the book universe that the Cross brothers belong to is concerned because based on the two Irresistible Attraction books alone, I’ve been missing out. A LOT. This second part to Jase and Bethany’s story had me anxious throughout. They were keeping things from each other, things that would definitely affect the relationship that they were in. The suspense may not have killed me, but just like the romance, I couldn’t get enough of it. W. Winters has paced this series so well, giving her readers just enough for each book, making sure to sate us momentarily but also ensuring she whets our appetite for even more from Jase and Bethany. A Single Kiss receives five-plus stars, and here’s to hoping book three is just as good, if not better.

Bethany Fawn and Jase Cross’ story picks up exactly where “A Single Glance” left you. Bethany knows there is a stranger in her house and is hiding in an effort to keep herself safe. It was worth the wait to continue reading their story. Jase is trying to protect Bethany but she’s strong willed and independent and isn’t making it easy for him she resists him nearly every step along the way. The heartbreak and mystery of Bethany’s sister, Jennifer, continues. My favorite lines of the book: “I don’t love you.” “I don’t love you either.” Bethany is afraid to love Jase as she fears he’s really her enemy. Jase is afraid to love Bethany as he thinks he doesn’t deserve to be loved and he knows he’s keeping secrets from Bethany that could destroy any chance they have at loving each other. Marcus is hovering in the background still causing problems or is he? A Single Touch” will be next, the finale and it can’t come soon enough I hate the wait and suspense.
This is not a standalone! It is the second book in this series. It starts off right where the first book left us.
It is a well written, engaging, captivating story.
Definitely a must read.
This book is crazy good, with lies, secrets and of course hot AF sex. I really enjoyed Jase & Bethany together. From the moment I started reading I didn’t want to stop. I’m rooting for Jase & Bethany because they ending HOLY SHIT. Another amazing story that everyone must read.
A Single Kiss is the second book in the Irresistible Attraction series by Ms Winters and this series has me wanting to bite all my nails off! It is a pulse pumping, high intensity series full of secrets, betrayals and lust. It is full of heartbreaking moments and moments that will define Jade and Bethany going forward.
This book picks up right where the cliffhanger left us from book one, and yes you absolutely have to read them in order) and brings us through the next set of issues they have to face. Secrets are still surrounding them and they still are fighting against each other.
Will they ever be able to get it right? This ends in another cliffhanger so you have time to catch up and get ready for what I’m sure is going to be an epic conclusion!!

Oh my gosh Willow, you’re killing me here! I love this series, love the Cross brothers and probably Jase the most. Jase and Bethany’s story is full of anger and excitement and sex, but there is also so much caring and love. Love for each other and love for their families, which causes problems. This story is a roller coaster ride of emotions, ya just have to grab hold and hang on for the ride…love it! Ms. Winters your imagination amazes me and I look forward to seeing what you dream up next!
A Single Kiss
A Single Kiss is the second book in the Irresistible Attraction Series by W. Winters (aka Willow Winters). This is the continuation of Bethany and Jase’s story. I will have to say, Willow has made the wait for this book well worth it. Not only has she given these characters more life, she has added twists I never saw coming.
Bethany continues to struggle with the fact she should hate Jase but yet she loves him. She feels like she has no control over her life. The internal hate/love struggle keeps her heart and mind in a constant state of confusion.
Jase is dealing with his own demons that causes him to regret certain things from his past. He knows that he is not worthy of Bethany’s love but can’t seem to let her go.
A Single Kiss is superbly written and keeps you wanting more. I was unable to get Bethany and Jase out of my mind. Their story is dark and captivating mixed with steamy attraction. I high,y recommendA Single Kiss. In order to get engaged into the lives of Bethany and Jade in A Single Kiss, you must read A Single Glance . The Irresistible Attraction Series is not a series of stand-alone. This is a 5 STAR MUST READ SERIES.
I received an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.
Another amazing book by Willow Winters. I absolutely love the Cross brothers and Jase is no exception. The writing is impeccable and the story is a rollercoaster of emotions. I can’t wait to see where Jase and Bethany’s story ends. Queen of the cliffhanger is an understatement. And I want more, now! I highly recommend this book if you’re into bad boys with a dark side, and also a deeply caring side. You will not be disappointed.
Willow Winters’ books are akin to presents for me. The minute I get them I can’t wait to dive in. Factor in my unhealthy obsession with Jase Cross and well I sat and devoured A Single Kiss in one sitting. I have been consumed with Jase and his relationship with Bethany Fawn as their connection is intense, raw and powerful. I loved seeing them together once again as they worked on figuring out the truth and their feelings for one another in the process.
Without giving away any spoilers, Winters throws us back into that heart-pounding cliffy from book 1 where Bethany must figure out who is after her and the mystery of what happened to her sister. But while she is on the quest for the truth, shocking clues lead her to question if Jase is really out to protect her or if he is the one she should be running from all along.
I have been a longtime fan of Ms. Winters as I feel she is a remarkable storyteller with an innate ability to make us feel a wide gamut of emotions. The way she portrayed Jase was absolutely everything. He is ruthless and merciless and yet he has a soft heart for his woman that just took my breath away. He is my favorite Cross brother to date. There is something about that man and the way he completely sees Bethany and into her heart that gives me chills.
While I loved this story I had a major issue with Bethany as I found her to be a little wishy washy as her feelings tended to see-saw back and forth. She would cry endlessly, suddenly become angry and then fall back into a depression. In addition, it was hard to find any progression and growth in her character arc which was frustrating at times. Jase and Marcus on the other hand, were the entire story in my eyes. Jase’s progression from the first book was almost transformative as he was still this dangerous man but his powerful feelings for Bethany caused a catch in his breath and a lurch in his heart. You could tell she was his gamechanger and ultimate weakness as she and her safety became his primary focus. Likewise, Winters set up Marcus’ story in spectacular fashion as the little clues and breadcrumbs she dropped had me on the edge of my seat and anxious for more.
All in all, while this wasn’t my favorite book in the series I am unnaturally obsessed with Jase and Bethany’s story and the love they have for one another. I can’t wait for their conclusion in A Single Touch. Bravo! 4.5 stars!
This book gives you all the feels for a love story that is gut wrenching yet hot, sexy, and intense! This is a continuation from book 1, A Single Glance, and poor Bethany is struggling with her feelings for Jase as she cannot just leave him yet she could be dragging herself deeper into danger. We see a whole different side of Jase and he is seriously one damaged man. It is heart wrenching, powerful, dark, suspenseful; everything you want in an enemies-to-lovers story! Be ready for twists and turns, steamy romance, and pay close attention to the details. W Winters really knows how to draw her readers in and keep them gripping to this story, taking in every word. Highly recommend it for those who love dark romance and damaged heros/heroines.
Absolutely loved this book! The depth of their relationship is undeniable. Willow never stops amazing me. Every book I’ve read from her only gets better and better!
“-I don’t love you.
-I don’t love you too.”
Why, Willow … Whyyyyy?! I knew that it wasn’t the last book in the series and I was trying to brace myself for a cliffhanger. BUT I WAS NOT PREPARED! I want to scream, cry and throw things at the wall! Willow Winters wrote a continuation of Jase and Bethany’s story that’s full of lust, secrets and suspension. Reading this book keeps you on the edge of the seat and makes you bite your lip.
More action.
More passion.
More mysteries.
Constant push and pull.
Both Bethany and Jase fight with the feelings they have for each other. Chemistry and lust between these two are even stronger than in the first book but the emotional aspect of their relationship has evolved the most. Unfortunately, they both struggle internally and they don’t want to feel what they feel. Most Jase who knows that his lifestyle and secrets that he hides from Bethany are able to destroy everything that exists between them.
Mrs. Winters drew me completely into the story again, and later without any remorse she pushed me out the door and closed it in my face. Her writing style is so captivating that every twist is a complete shock that leaves you in a stupor. That’s how I feel now. I crave the next part of this series like nothing else in this world!
Oh my Gods, what the ever loving f? This book is non stop action from start to end. And the ending. Why did it have to end like that? Just, why? Not right. Going to be on pins until I get my hands on the next one, because this series is getting better and better as we go, and I’m falling more and more in love with Jase and Bethany, which I didn’t think was possible. Things this author can do with words astounds. Amazing.
“He doesn’t just glance at me, he doesn’t observe me the way others do, inconsequentially and only with little curiosity. He stares at me with a hunger and a need for more, to see more of me and what’s inside of me. He looks at me like he never wants to stop seeing me.”
~Bethany~
So in A Single Kiss Ms. Winters gives the reader more of the feelings that Jase and Bethany have towards one another.
Their feelings are becoming more intense and more consuming.
When they are in each other’s presence both have a sense of comfort.
But these feelings are causing them to be weary and scared.
Each of them have their own reasons for being afraid of how much they need the other.
While Bethany is fighting with her feelings for Jase.
She is also still overwhelmed with the loss of Jenny.
Her chaotic overflowing emotions are throwing her in a deep depressive state.
Jase although he feels unworthy of Bethany he can’t let her go.
He’s merciless and cutthroat with his enemies and his business.
But when it comes to Bethany he has a soft side and a tenderness no one else gets to see.
There are secrets yet to be revealed and a mystery yet to be solved.
Bring on book 3!
How I waited for this book. All I can say wholeheartedly that I love Willow’s crazy head. Her madness is our reward.
If in the book: A single glance the story of Jase and Bethany begins, with A single kiss, Willow knows how to blow your thoughts, pushing you to the edge and leaving you breathless until the last minute.
All I can say is that I wait with breath to read her next book: A single touch.
Okay, so the first book left us in suspense and I don’t know about you but I was eager to get into the story! More of the past is revealed and yet still secrets linger. Jase is hiding things but Bethany isn’t being completely honest either. She is feeling alone and who could blame her. It feels like forces are circling around her and are waiting to reach out and grab her. Fear is keeping her hostage but is she better off with Jase? Better the devil you know than the one you don’t springs to mind. Now Jase is getting irritated because Bethany isn’t behaving the way he wants: *“Even now she pushes me. She’ll never stop. I know she won’t. The fire inside of her will never die.”* As much as he hates it, he loves the fire in her. He is a complicated guy because he knows he doesn’t deserve her and yet takes advantage of her and her feelings. I have to say, there were moment within the story were both Jase and Bethany irritated the heck out of me because they were doing the opposite of what I thought they should be doing. Their lack of trust is going to cost them especially when a dark shadow is still lurking in the background and is pulling the strings. There are heart stopping moments and nail biting incidents. The story ends with us on the edge of our seats and I need to know what happens next! Will the secrets come out? And what will the repercussions be once that happens?
