Fun to read!
When I realized who the real killer was I was truly shocked! I enjoyed the characters and how they used the dogs to bring the strangest personalities to friendships. Love Love Love!
Average mystery…some entertaining turns of phrases…a few distracting typos…characters needed to be more three-dimensional.
A tangled web that really was not completely solved??
Why are dog people being killed or injured? You keep wondering. And will the good looking detective get together with the female lead??
Kept me guessing through the book. Enjoyed this “cost” mystery.
Surprising all along the way.

Glad I found this series! Very interesting characters and plot twists.
C.A. Newsome has a series called “A dog park mystery.” They are fun, entertaining, and easy reads. The dogs are as important as their assorted and odd owners. So far I have read and enjoyed A Shot in the Bark, and Drool Baby. Good fun stories. Cheers Lynda L. Lock (Isla Mujeres Mystery novels).
I was hoping the dogs would have more personality and contribute more to the story line.
