She doesn’t know he’s a man. A werewolf. Or that a fire elemental locked him in a cage and slowly, painfully, tortured him until he … slowly, painfully, tortured him until he hovered on the brink of death.
Caring for the wolf gives her purpose. Even if has to be short-lived.

Really enjoyed this. Immediately went online to get the rest of the series.
Loves this book…lot of action…romance…sad…funny…very entertaining
I read a LOT of books, sci-first, paranormal, and contemporary. This book was written with enough differences to keep me intrigued to the end and made me WANT to purchase the next in this series. ( Which I did.) I hope the author continues this series so I can read the rest.
Love this series! Looking forward to the next one.
Good read, made you not want to put it down.
Has a twist as to how to explain the disease of the heroine, and how the wolf meets her is very sympathetic. Did not really explain how the evil elemental was so overboard in her hatred of the wolf and all related to him.
This was another good read. Great characters, and fun and terrifying problems to overcome. A wonderful look at what family really means.
If you like mystery, bizarre medical conditions and miraculous happy endings this is the book for you.
It was a good story. But it’s the first of four. You need to finish all four to get the whole story
if you like paranormal – this is good.
A very different shifter story which I completely enjoyed. This story held many twists and turns.
It was OK. Kept me hooked for a while.
I loved this book. Both hero and heroine get a chance to do the rescuing. Pulls at the heartstrings for the tragedy that falls on the hero. Hunky werewolves don’t hurt either. Even used term correctly, as they are werewolves not shifters. Definitely worth a read! Also hea, no cliff hangers.
Loved it. I read the whole series.
This is an entertaining read with strong characters and a compelling plot. A good start to the series. Recommended for fans of paranormal romance.
Had to read the whole series
Finding out your an elemental and that the mystery illness you have battled all your life is just knowing how to deal with your gifts is a wonderful storyline. Evil sister, hunky wear wolf, solid friends, what more could you ask of a story. Highly recommended.
A new concept between the weres and “elementals”. Other than that an average read.
The whole dang series is GREAT!!!!
