From New York Times bestselling author Helena Hunting comes a new romance about trading secrets, breaking the rules, and playing for keeps. My name is Ryan Kingston, and I’m a rule follower. I’ve never been in a fistfight. I always obey the speed limit. I don’t get drunk, and I definitely don’t pick up random women at bars.Except the night I found out that my whole existence has been a lie.I got … existence has been a lie.
I got drunk. And picked up a stranger.
Her name was Queenie, and she was everything I’m not: reckless, impulsive, and chaotic. We did shots and traded secrets. And ended up naked at my place.
She left me a thank-you note in the morning and her panties as a parting gift. But no way to contact her.
Six weeks later I’m sitting in the first official team meeting of the season, and there she is. I neglected to mention that I’m the goalie for Seattle’s NHL team.
And Queenie? Turns out she’s the general manager’s daughter.

Oh goodness I loved this book so much! I wasn’t sure how Helena Hunting would top the other two books in the series because they’re amazing, but top them she did!
King and Queenie are everything!! Their adorable banter, their adorable quirkiness/awkwardness, and their insane chemistry and love.
I am quite seriously in love with King. His gentlemanly ways, his protectiveness, his love and compassion, his adorable quirks, and so much more! He makes me laugh and swoon. It is absolutely impossible not to fall head-over-heels in love with King.
And Queenie…this strong, brilliant, kind-hearted and vulnerable soul. She may have a tough exterior and be confined chaos at times, but deep down she is vulnerable and self-conscious.
But together King and Queenie are perfection. The calm to the others storm. The light and the dark. A perfect harmony. It was an absolute joy watching their story unfold from beginning to end. As they reach the highest of highs and hit some lows, always coming back together perfectly.
I sincerely adore this book and these characters. I was completely hooked from page 1 until the very last word. Enamored with this beautiful and funny story that Helena Hunting has created that just makes me genuinely happy.
Helena know how to bring the laughs and feels in her books!
A Secret for a Secret is the final book in the All in Series and following Kingston and Queenie. What can I say about King……. you know the saying a Gentleman and the streets and a wolf in the sheets is the perfect description. Kingston; milk drinker, speed follower and all around Boy Scout!
Queenie a little lost and a complete whirlwind, and just what Kingston needs . These two compliment each other like pineapple and olives.
We get to see some old favorites from the Series and of course what would a Helena Hockey book be without Alex and Violet. You will laugh… at times uncontrollably, and cringe for the predicament our characters get into!
A Secret for a Secret is an opposites attract love story with a crazy cast of characters and lots of steam! Hunting brings us back to Seattle for Ryan’s story.
Ryan is an alter boy-always does the right thing, doesn’t like alcohol, and definitely doesn’t do one night stands. Queenie is a party girl-she is as free spirited as they come, and has no problems with casual sex. The fact that these two have chemistry is undeniable. However, Queenie leaves after their tryst with nothing more than a post it note.
I liked these two as a couple! The both help each other be brave in different ways. They really are the ying to the other’s yang. Overall, the story is low angst, which I really appreciate! You also get cameos from the previous couples in the series, and I love that too. Finally, the story has a touch of forbidden romance because Queenie’s father, the general manager, is NOT okay with players dating his daughter. Since Ryan is such a good guy, this is a challenge for him, but he is willing to do what it takes to be with Queenie.
A Secret for a Secret will delight fans of Huntings books because you get the same witty banter, steamy sex, and laughs throughout!
I am truly in love with this series and all of the wonderful people that have materialized from Helena’s imagination. Our straight laced goalie Ryan Kinston caught my attention in the last book and I so could not wait to see what may be hidden under that polo and khakis. Oh Queenie , I absolutely feel in love with your spirit and sass.
When a chance meeting in a bar turns into no last names, chemistry, passion and secrets ….this is going to be very interesting !
When these two meet again the circumstances are so different and Queenie wants to prove her worth to the team and her family but King has other plans. Get ready to be wooed and courted Queenie. Ryan Kingston is on his A game on and off the ice.
Get ready for a swoon worthy romance filled with laughter, passion and so much fun!

Rook, Bishop and finally King! How didn’t I connect these names until King, I have no idea
A Secret for A Secret is King and his Queen story.
If you already read the previous two book, specially Bishop story, you’ve meet the calm, collected, all American sweetheart scout boy personification, pollo and khakis lover, Ryan King.
This man is a dream. Not like the other jock I’ve ever meet who’s rowdy, wild and bed hopper, King is a gentleman. He’s that dependable best friend. Straight follow the line kinda man. Easy child to his parents.
Or so he is.
Until he meet his storm.
Queen is a mess. She is little miss dependant. Everything she does in her life is impulsive and fruitless since nothing can she do for her self that’s good. She’s just simple a chaos.
Or so her mother told her repeatedly until she believes it.
Until she meet her calm. Her King.
Their connection is roller coaster ride.
Her strenght entice his calm.
His level headed and huge love makes her grounded and in the same time flew her to seventh sky of happiness.
But her secret could destroy them.
Public slaying could annihilate everything they have.
Time to decide. If she would run like she always do or fight for her King. If he would finally crack his calmness and finally decide her storm is too much of chaos or claim his Queen.
Like always with Helena Hunting, don’t read her books in public! Unless you enjoy being seeing as that loon who snort giggle to laugh out loud like crazy for strawberry alergy rash and lollypop
Omg my stomach still hurt from all the laugh.
But King is so different from Helena’s other boys. Love me some King for his Quirky are endearing, cute and sexy. And Queen? This girl is packing! She may look like a mess at first. But I love her spirit. She’s strong and real with her fear and insecurity.
Love these two together!
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by the author through Netgalley)…
This is Kingston’s story.
Okay I really enjoyed this story especially Kingston and his Boy Scout ways; then we have Queenie who calls herself a cyclone of impulse who really was just trying so hard to make her father happy. Now it must be stated that Queenie’s father, Jake, loves his daughter and always puts her first, but to Queenie she feels like she ruined her father’s life which is not true.
Queenie and King have a spark since their first meeting and, unfortunately, for our couple that spark only intensified. I loved everything about this book because this book was steamy, sweet and hilarious; the perfect scene to show this is the strawberry milkshake incident. King and his Queen compliment each other in the best way and of course their crazy group of friends make things more enjoyable, Violet and Bishop for the win!
I didn’t want this book to end! Perhaps we will get a books on Jake and maybe King’s momster, Hanna.
“I’d rather have her chaos than stay stuck in the calm, where everything is lackluster.” ~ Kingston
When stable, rule following Kingston indulges in an uncharacteristic one night stand, little does he know his controlled world is about to become a lot messier! The impulsive girl he hooked up with & can’t get out of his head turns out to be the one girl he can’t have- his bosses daughter Queenie.
This was easily my favorite book in the series and Kingston & Queenie made a perfectly imperfect couple! Kingston is adorablely awkward & sweet and makes every attempt to show Queenie how amazing she is, even when she is being her own worst critic. The addition of characters from previous books flow effortlessly & Violet’s daughter, the shy Lavender, is a scene stealer. The madcap scene about King’s strawberry allergy is hilarious & something that would only happen in the Pucked world! Loved this book, loved the series and hope we have more stories to look forward to with these characters in the future
I forget how incredibly fun are the books written by Helena Hunting! I was dying to read King’s book because he’s such a goody-two shoes, a stickler for rules and procedures. I was looking forward to see him lose his mind over a woman and I got my wish and more! Queenie was everything I wanted and more!
One night Ryan Kingston (King to his teammates) is at a bar getting drunk. He has mommy issues, as he just found out that his sister is really his mom. Seated next to him is Queenie, also with issues. Hers is the continued dependency she has on her dad.
“He was only twenty when I was born, and he ended up having to raise me on his own. So lots of trial and error in the whole how to deal with raising a kid alone, you know? And I’m really good at messing things up, and he’s really good at bailing me out every single time, so I’ve perpetuated that dependency, and he sort of inadvertently feeds it.”
They get drunk and have a one-night stand. Queenie leaves before King gets up and doesn’t leave any information, making King obsess over her for weeks. She was perfect and he wanted more!
At the start of the NHL season, they attend a meeting and lo and behold, Queenie is there, with her father, the manager of their NHL team!!! Talk about forbidden! King tries hard to adhere to the rule that Queenie is off-limits to the players. This part was hilarious because he behaved a little like a bumbling idiot, blushing and playing like crap when she was observing. They decide to be just friends, close friends, and things improve, but the temptation to be more is just too strong. There’s a lot of shenanigans in this book! And we get to see proper King doing dirty sex, yum!
I loved the way this story developed. Queenie is convinced she’s a hot mess and that she drives men away with all her issues. But it turns out she’s perfect for King. A staid man who drives below the speed limit, drinks milk instead of beer, strict rule follower, he needed an impulsive and messy women to light up his fire. And in return, he was like a Xanax for Queenie, slowing down the messy speed in which she lived her life.
“I’m aware I’m a lot to handle. And while he seems pretty enamored with me, that could easily change. He’s the calm and I’m the storm.”
“I show her without words that she’s worth whatever trouble she seems to think she’s going to bring my way. I’d rather have her chaos than stay stuck in the calm, where everything is lackluster.”
Queenie had self-worth problems, thanks to her worthless mother. She was in college, about to complete a dual major in psychology and art and left it because her mother told her she was never going to amount to anything and her choice career was worthless. I can’t believe that knowing her mother’s deficiencies as a parent, she would take her word. But take it she did and she dropped out one semester before graduation.
King and Queenie (note the combination!) were perfect for each other and balanced each other. Their love story has several obstacles, coming from her issues, her father’s rules and his family’s expectations. There’s a plot twist that you just have to read to believe.
We’re taken in a lovely ride, with fun moments and other heart wrenching ones. We also get a close look at Violet and her younger kids, Lavender and River. Queenie shined while dealing with Lavender, who has extreme shyness and dependency on her twin brother. These two are such a cute twin set and it was lovely to see Alex and Violet deal with their kids with so much love and understanding.
I loved every sentence and enjoyed being with the whole bunch!
Move over Rook and Bishop the King has arrived and boy has he.
This is Kingston & Queenie book.
Ryan Kingston Seattle hockey goalie has just been told some devastating news, so the clean cut non drinking player decides his going to get drunk.
While sitting at the bar a young attractive lady asks if this seat taken, while sharing their stories and a whole lot of drinks later they form a packed that what they shared with each other is a secret for a secret they have a one night stand and move on.
Fast forward six weeks later Kingston is back in training and at a team meeting.
In walks general manager Jake Masterson and his new assistant.
Suddenly both Kingston and Queenie world is turned upside down, her dads one rule do not date the hockey players ever.
The chemistry between Kingston and Queenie is something neither of them have had before, how can you maintain a professional relationship when all you both think about is your one night together.
Let’s just say opposites attract she is nothing but chaos and he is calm sensitive and a rule follower.
She’s a tornado and half the time I don’t know what to do with her.
But when Queenie past comes back to haunt her a mistake she made when she was 18 years old, Kingston is right by her side he stands up for her and want’s to protect her at all costs.
Throw in his crazy family and believe me they are plus Alex Violet and
the rest of the gang this book is a must read.
It will have you laughing out loud I didn’t want this book to end.
Download it yourself and find out why this author never lets you down she always delivers a page turner of a book.
Will Kingston and Queenie get their HEA read it.
SWOON!! THE KING HAS FOUND HIS QUEEN!!
Oh Helena how much I enjoyed this!! Once I started I was hooked! You made my heart swoon!!
I loved King and Queenie, they were complete opposites but he was the anchor to her storm and she gave him the Chaos he needed.
Helena brought us the brilliant blend of emotion mixed with her crazy humour! You will be thoroughly entertained from beginning to end. I wasn’t sure anyone could surpass my love for Bishop and Stevie but you have done it with King and Queenie’s story.
As always it was lovely seeing some of my old favourites mixed with new characters. I can’t wait to see what you bring us next.
There is only one word to describe this book and it’s content: AMAZING!!
King was everything I wanted and expected him to be. I loved how respectful he was towards her and wanting to show her she was so much more than just sex. And I absolutely loved Queenie. She was quirky and funny and a total opposite to King which made them fit perfectly together.
I loved the way he handled problems and drama that was thrown to their relationship. It takes a strong person to do that and to love someone unconditionally.
I’m kinda sad this series has reached it end because each couple has stole a peace of my heart and it hard letting them go.

***5 ‘Eye of the Storm’ Stars***
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the first two books in this series, but this one may just be my favorite and it all has to do with Kingston and Queenie. These two had me grinning like a loon for almost the entire book (only ‘almost’ because there are some intense moments) but overall, I loved watching these two total opposites collide and become everything to each other.
Queenie is fiesty. She’s all kinds of sassy, sweet and compassionate. She isn’t blind to her faults, and though her insecurities can wreak havoc on her confidence, she definitely owns all that she is. Kingston is a true boy scout. OMG, his need to toe the line is insane. But that’s what ended up totally endearing me to him. He is simply a good man, but does have a nice little dose of wild when the time is right.
Their journey to their HEA was a lot of fun. They are opposites in a lot of ways, but they flowed well together, it felt like they helped to fill in the other’s missing pieces and helped to make the other stronger because of it. Their bantering was a lot fun and the chemistry between them was HOT! And as for the bumps in their journey, of which there were quite a few ~ some surprising, others not so much ~ I liked how everything got handled and loved where they were at in their relationship in the end.
This was such a fun read for me. The drama did have me rolling my eyes a time or two, but it was all worth it to see King and Queenie get their HEA. As for the secondary characters. I loved getting to know Jake, Queenie’s dad and the teams GM better ~ and I’m crossing my toes he may get his own HEA at some point. Catching up with RJ, Lainey, Bishop and Stevie was a lot of fun, but it was Lavender, River and Hanna who were my favorites and I’m hoping we’ll books on all of them in the future!

ALL the feels! I completely devoured this book! Wow! I love hockey series, and this series just keeps blowing me away! King and Queenie’s story is so beautiful! I think King is the sweetest H of all times! I am so swoonie for him! I can’t wait for more from this amazing series! FIVE STARS!
4.5 stars
*ARC kindly provided via NetGalley. This is my honest opinion.*
Another amazing addition to an awesome series!! Ryan Kingston is definitely my favorite so far! Helena Hunting really know how to give us the best hockey players to swoon over!!!
Ryan Kingston is the goalie for Seattle’s NHL team. Even though he’s a hockey player, he’s not your regular playboy. In the contrary, his sweet, shy and an overall good guy. He always follows the rules and never loose control. After a really unexpected revelation regarding his family, he finds himself lost and with the urge to let go. That’s when he meets Queenie.
Queenie is his polar opposite. She’s chaotic, loud and too expressive for her own good. Losing her job is what brings her to the bar where Ryan is. Their mommy issues is what primarily brings them together, but their chemistry is what keeps them going. After their first night, she leaves him with a post-it, a pair of underwear and no way to contact her. Imagine both their surprise when they see each other at the first team meeting. Queenie is the GM’s new assistant and his daughter as well!
“There’s no place I’d rather be than the eye of your storm.”
I must say, I loved Kingston and Queenie’s story! I couldn’t stop reading, because I was too eager to see how these two will end up. Kingston’s character was a nice change. It was good to see a player that’s sweet and cute and only turns unhinged with his woman! These two are definitely a match. Their relationship is not an easy one. Both have things to work through and that’s what makes their story even better!!
If you are looking for a sports romance with a sweet and wickedly sexy hockey player and the tornado that will bring him to his knees, then look no more; you just found it!!!!
After reading the first two books I badly wanted to read Ryan Kingston’s story! Wow did Helena Hunting give him a good one! King is ever the Boy Scout with his khakis and polo and milk drinking habits. Only the hurricane that is Queenie could bring out what’s hiding underneath it all. Together their opposites attract and create some moments that will have you laughing! They each have their own set of problems to work thru and their secrets will surely surprise you. I couldn’t put this book down as I had to know what would happen!
Boy Scout by day, Dirty Puck by night – that’s Ryan Kingston. Who would have thought that the clean cut, polo shirt and khaki pants wearing goaltender had a naughty side to him? I certainly didn’t and man oh man what a pleasant surprise it was. King can talk dirty to me anytime he wants! The rule following, straight laced hockey player gets thrown for a loop when his first and only one night stand ends up being the boss’s daughter.
Queenie is a beautiful mess, she’s at a crossroads in her life, unsure of where she should be or what she should be doing. Moving into her dad’s guesthouse and getting hired as his personal assistant seems like two steps forward and three steps back once she discovers that the man who she shared an incredible night with is one of his players.
Watching good boy King fall hard and fast for (not really) bad girl Queenie makes this an absolutely fantastic addition to Helena’s All In Series and makes me want more, starting with daddy Jake’s story! Please Helena, tell me there will be a book dedicated to this silver fox single daddy?! TBR A Secret For A Secret and enjoy!
4.5 ‘The calm to my storm’ Stars!

Who fell in love with the sweet Ryan Kingston in the All In series? THIS GIRL! And I loved him even more after reading his wonderful love story with his queen, Queenie. How freaking adorable is that? I love me a funny, sugary sweet and steamy sports romance and Helena Hunting is one of the best authors at those. Obviously, she did not fail with this whole series and neither with A Secret for a Secret. This crew of characters is just that amazing!
So, A Secret for a Secret is Helena’s third installment in her All In series and it focuses on the “forbidden” relationship between King and Queenie. These two are not in their best moment and they found understanding and a whole lot of chemistry in a drunken passionate one night stand. They did not imagine they would run into each other again. Well, things get complicated when this couple meets again in a meeting where King realizes Queenie is the daughter of the GM in the hockey team he is the goalie of. Things are about to get secretive, steamy and emotional!
She’s a tornado, and half the time I don’t know what to do with her, but I still want to get caught up in her vortex.
I loved this couple! Gah, they were so freaking cute together! Ryan Kingston is different from what you expect in the typical romance hero and I appreciated that. He is such a good man, tender, attentive, loving and SHY! And Queenie is just as strong and endearing. It was great to read how she finds herself all over again throughout the book. I just adored how this love relationship developed, how they peel the vulnerable layers off of each other, sharing their secrets and falling in love in the process. That turns into a beautiful relationship, with a bit of light drama, a mind-blowing chemistry and a whole lot of feels.
I feel like I’ve finally found my person. The one who won’t try to tame my chaos but will let me live in it and help me balance my impulsiveness with stability. He’s yin and I’m yang. He’s sugar and I’m salt.
Therefore, I am rating A Secret for a Secret with 4.5 STARS because it was a great addition to the All In series. Completely different from the other two books but still in the same style that we all love from Helena Hunting. I loved King and Queenie, I loved their relationship and I loved the moments with the rest of the crew. These characters are just amazing and freaking hilarious! I hope we get more books because I am definitely ready for more. Gah, I am so happy these two got together and they got their HEA. Highly recommend!
A Secret for A Secret is hands down my favorite of this series. I loved the story and the characters. Queenie and King weren’t your heroine and hero in romance books.
To say I love King is an understatement. He was so different. Sure, he had qualities of your typical romance novel hero, but he was caring and loving and his boy scout side?! How can you not love it. You’d expect a hockey goalie to be super alpha and cocky but he is the exact opposite. Queenie is the opposite of King and I loved her for it. I loved her chaos. The two of them really balanced each other out. Ying and Yang.
A Secret for A Secret had drama, romance, heat, and loads of laughs! I pretty much felt every single emotion while reading this one. I loved getting more of the previous couples in the book, plus Violet and Alex and their little hockey team.
If hockey romances that will have you feeling every single emotion are you jam this one is a MUST READ and is one of my TOP READS of 2020.
My favorite of the All In series. I couldn’t stop reading once I started. King and Queenie are a matched set with calmness and chaos balanced together. Loved their chemistry and closeness. Can’t wait for another visit to Helena’s hockey universe. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC received via NetGalley.
A Secret for a Secret is the third and last book of the All In series. I cannot believe this was the last book of the series. I am not ready to let go of this crazy bunch 🙁 A Secret for a Secret was an amazing read and definitely my favorite book of the series.
Ryan Kingston, aka King, is a loyal, calm, sweet hockey player, who always obeys the rules. He never fights and most of the times he is the mediator 🙂 However, after learning a life changing secret, he decides to go wild for the night. Our good boy scout decides to get drunk and lucky for him, he finds an amazing companion to become a bad boy for the night. Queenie is a sassy, sweet, free spirited, pure chaos. Thanks to her mom she has too many insecurities. After a bad day she decides to get a drink and unwind a bit and she ends up next to an amazing guy and spends the night with him. Having a one-night stand is not how King operates and when he wakes up in the morning and see Queenie has left, he is disappointed. What he doesn’t expect is seeing Queenie six weeks later during teams first official meeting. Ohh and she is Jack, the GM’s daughter. Ooops! So when they both realized that they will be working together, they decided, it is better for them to keep their relationship platonic. There is an itsy-bitsy problem with their plan though, with each minute they spend together, it gets harder and harder to fight the attraction and act platonic. I love how stand-up King is and he is always trying to do what is right. He is an amazing guy. He is always trying to support Queenie and give her confidence and strength to fight against her insecurities. Their differences make everything more interesting and harder to give up. Even though some of the things they go through feels like it will be the end of their relationship, King never gives up and always fights against the odds. It was amazing to see the couples from previous books of the series Lainey, RJ, Bishop and Stevie. Of course, there is Alex, Violet and their kids as well and when there is Violet, there is hilarious moments as always. To tell you the truth I am in love with Alex and Violet’s twins; River and Lavender. While reading this I wished we saw more of the Pucked gang’s kids. I think it would be super fun to see all hunky hockey players with their cutie kids 🙂 Also, there is Hanna, the momster and Jack, the GM and I am super curious if they will have something sizzling in their future 🙂
A Secret for a Secret is sweet, funny, heartwarming and inspiring story. As always reading a Helena Hunting book was a delight. Her characters are always unique, captivating and mostly hilarious. Of course, there are some brooding, grumpy, hot alphas in the group as well 🙂 I am heartbroken that this series came to an end and cannot wait for her next series, I wish we had more time with the super awesome kids…
