Twice Navy SEAL Curtis Lloyd has been ready to marry. Twice his bride to be has left him at the last minute for another man. So when a bride and her bridesmaid crash their car just outside Base Camp, in the biggest snowstorm this century, Curtis knows he has to get them to their wedding in Bozeman even if they have to walk the whole way. His motives aren’t entirely selfless: He needs a bride, … too, in order to save the sustainable community he joined when he left the military, and feisty maid of honor Hope Martin is just the kind of woman he’d like to take to the altar.

I think the general theme is getting a little worn on this series.
Cora Seton is one of my favourite authors. I absolutely love her Chance Creek community and all of her various characters. I can’t wait for more!
I adore this series!
I think this is now my favorite so far in this series.
Curtis has lost out on brides twice, this second time leaves him with only 5 days to find another bride and there’s a blizzard on the way. As the snow begins to fall he starts to think there’s no hope and it will be his fault they lose everything they’ve worked so hard for.
While Curtis is being left at the alter another Bride is preparing to leave Illinois to travel to Bozeman, Montana for her wedding. Raina didn’t want to leave her job until the last minute so along with her maid of honor Hope she was undertaking the twenty-four hour drive. Raina also reveals she isn’t coming back to Illinois, the newlyweds would be staying in Bozeman. However, Raina’s fiance Ben’s best man Scott, has an in at Yellowstone and possibly a job opportunity for Hope as a Park Ranger.
As soon as Raina heard about Curtis’ predicament, she formulated a change of plans. Hope needed a husband so they could eventually raise their children together. Curtis is the perfect candidate for her scheme.
Since Hope hasn’t seen the show, Raina manages to pull off getting stuck at the drive to the camp.
Now Hope has a planner, her life and days planned out almost to the second. She’s about to have her whole world turned upside down, even as Curtis helps her knock off a couple of things from her bucket type list.
I loved every single page of this book, I laughed, held my breath and crossed my fingers too, as Curtis fulfills his promise to get Raina to her wedding, and courts Hope.
Lot’s of surprises, snow filled adventures, and so much more!
Terrific romance! It’s Curtis’ turn to marry but with less than a week to go he’s coming up short. Then a Montana blizzard hits. Can he find a bride before the deadline?
Great plot (and different from earlier ones), wonderful dialogue, and fascinating characters.
Don’t know why my 4 star rating won’t save. Kind of tired of this series. Not a fan of reality shows and guess that includes the premise of this series. Would like to read Walker’s story but afraid my interest will be completely kaput before that one is ever released.
I’ve read this entire series and have enjoyed each and every story. I’ve been waiting for Curtis to get his HEA because he’s had bad luck with finding someone just right for him. This story had a great plot, a bit of anxious moments at times, a character added to the mix with lots of humor and of course romance. Even if you haven’t read the previous books in the series this can easily been read as a stand-alone. I did read it in one sitting just because I couldn’t put it down. I anxiously await the rest in this series to see how had this author ties everything up.
Note: I did listen to the previous books on Audible and was disappointed this one wasn’t offered there as well.
Great series
Cora Seton’s Seals always have a good action and love story going.
I enjoy all books by Cora Seton and especially enjoyed this whole series. I was excited to read that Curtis finally found a bride. I am not good at writing long reviews but if you enjoy romances it is good to read this whole series. I would start with book one and go in order to avoid spoilers but if you don’t you would catch on.
I loved the unusual characters.

A Seal’s Purpose is book 5 of the Seals of Chance Creek series by Cora Seton and glad to be back and see how the gang is doing with the sustainable living and finding their HEA in 40 days! !
Curtis Lloyd has been left at the altar twice, once to his highschool sweetheart and now to a business arrangment. He has a few days to find another bride or backup bride or all the hard work with the sustainable living with go up in smoke. Finding two ladies standed at the end of the ranch’s road who are heading to Bozeman for a wedding he thinks he may have found his bride, Hope Martin the maid of honor. All he needs to do is get them to the wedding on time and convince Hope she belongs with him.
Twists, turns, a blizzard, kittens, back roads, snowmobile, skis are all part of the mayhem.
This book is beautifully written. I would definitely recommend this book as well as the entire series.
