If you enjoy mysteries try this one. It is set in England, with tea and scones and some funny characters.
It was a laugh out loud book with wonderful characters. It was a fast read that I wasn’t able to put down. A good mystery with a surprise ending.
Awesome author
This is one of the most well written books I’ve read. Suspenseful, entertaining, funny and with well rounded characters.
There were no “steamy” bits, which is fine with me because I don’t read eroticia.
I have found a great new author!
A fun light read with wonderful characters. Read it in a day!
I found the book to be very entertaining with an interesting characters and a few plot twists.
I found the characters mostly interesting. I was intrigued by cook who was socially awkward and seemed probable high functioning autistic. Then unfortunately he became the murderer but it was OK because he was handicapped and couldn’t really be responsible for his behavior. This is an attitude that perpetuates negative stereotypes. It is demeaning to people who live with these handicaps and work hard to fit into a world that does not accept the wide spectrum of human differences.
I enjoyed reading this mystery. It kept my interest and was light reading.
Very entertaining. A nice enjoyable read.
Jane Austin’s Persuasion is the perfect tie-in to an Oxford mystery . The plot thickens with every page leaving the reader with plausible scenario and then throws an Agatha curve ball
This is part of the Oxford Tea Room series. It is about an English woman with a degree in business who gives up a successful career in Australia to open a tea room in Oxford. The mystery is: who murdered the obnoxious American on her patio with one of her scones? Lots of twists and turns, some scary moments, and a surprise killer. And don’t miss the precocious cat. Well written mystery.
Good, easy read that kept the reader in suspense until the end.
This was an enjoyable murder mystery.
Quick and interesting read
I really like this book. It is the second in a series can’t wait to start book three.
A bit too mills & Boonish for my taste
An easy read
Love this series but can no longer find them at B&N.
Recommended for a fun, quick read. The main character is likable.
Wonderful quirky characters
As always a fun read.
