Vacationing at a gay resort is risky business for Winter Media’s CEO, Graham Winters. In negotiations for the purchase of an anti-LGBTQ publication, if found out he preferred men, the deal would collapse, along with Winter Media’s bottom line. But take a risk, Graham does. He can’t pass up two weeks where he can be himself. But when Graham arrives at Secretus, there is no record of his … reservation. Never one to take no for an answer, he coerces the owner of Secretus, Chris Katsaros, to let him stay in Chris’s home.
Winter Media owns one of the worst gossip rags in the country, so Chris has no choice but to agree to Graham’s terms. Chris keeps a low profile when it comes to Secretus, securing a safe environment where high profile gays can relax without media hounding their every move. An introvert by nature, Chris has a difficult time letting anyone into his life. As a foster kid, he had never experienced love until adopted by Pete and Bob.
Forced to entertain Graham, Chris finds they have more in common than he ever thought. The attraction between them is real, and Chris’s guarded heart begins to thaw.
Note from author: A Rumored Affair was originally published with Loose ID. In this version, I have added extra scenes and had it proofread by Red Pen Coach.

Graham is forced to go on vacation by his assistant who was tired of walking on eggshells around her boss, something had to give. Clusterf**k from the get-go, no one could find his reservation, no room was available and Graham was livid, he would not be shuffled off to a hole in the wall motel. Chris the owner of the resort had a 5 star accommodation available but Graham was not taking the bait. From there until the ending you had 2 men falling in love, enjoying each other’s company and wondering how they would survive in 2 weeks when Graham returns to the city and his job. Graham was extremely feisty but Chris was no push over. It was enjoyable to see them falling and how they changed each other for the better. What I haven’t mentioned is Graham is not out, Chris is. The resort is private and very exclusive for gay couples. Graham is the CEO of a magazine conglomerate and not all are conducive to a gay lifestyle. He’s very afraid of being outed and losing his lively hood. Graham is used to getting his way and Chris surprises him. He needed to be surprised and maybe have some sense knocked into him. Good story and loved the ending.

This was a cute and fun enemies to lovers m/m romance. one of the characters was in the closet and his secretary scheduled him a get away trip to a resort where gay couples and singles can Express themselves freely without being judged. He doesn’t have a happy Start of vacation to find they have lost his reservation but things start to look up when he convinces the extremely attractive owner to let him stay at his place where he never let’s guests stay until a bungalow becomes available and he never expected to have the hotts for the owner of the resort. Chris doesn’t like Graham based on his company and what he feels it stands for which is anti gay rights and he also doesn’t like people whon
are in the closet like Chris who hide who they are dor financial gain. He doesn’t expect Graham to be anymore than a spoiled, and sleezy self absorbed pretty boy but once he gets to actually know him, his view of him starts to change. But no matter what he starts to feel for him, him and Graham are too different too ever work out and what if Graham never comes out of the closet. This may just be the trip Graham needed to stop hiding who he truly is from the world and Chris just may be the motivation he needed to finally stop hiding in the closet. I really enjoyed this one, It was a bit of a slow burn but I enjoyed that it had more story than just steamy scenes but there were some good steamy scenes in there. It was more of a built up then it was just jumping right into it. I cant wait to read more from this author!

I enjoyed reading this fascinating MM romance. The characters are quite well-developed with individual traits & different sides to their personalities. The story-line & plot is entertaining and well-written.
There is: a conflicted & closeted gay male media mogul (Graham Winters), a caring assistant & friend (Jillian), a feisty gay recluse resort owner & activist(Chris Katsaros), mild twists & turns, drama, secrets, threats, business deals, friendship, a gay resort (Secretus), reservation glitches, anger, disbelief, determination, attractions, coercion, guilt, attitude issues, conversations, disagreements, dislike, memories, security issues, suspicions, verbal conflict, jealousy, conflicting interests, vicious social media tweets, paranoia, damage control, emotional turmoil, heartache, motherly advice, public declaration, excitement, apologies, love happiness, steamy scenes & a well-earned satisfying conclusion.
I would recommend this MM romance to people who enjoy reading this genre, I doubt that you would be disappointed in this book.
