Crowns & CourtshipsBook 3: Royals of San Majoria & EyjaniaLife is messy.Even more so when you have to deal with two royal families and the expectations of two countries. And a 200-year-old treatyAdd a scheming royal uncle and one really big surprise, and things just might get a little out of hand.Princess Esther of San Majoria has always done what’s expected of her. Until she met a … what’s expected of her. Until she met a handsome stranger at an exclusive resort. Weeks later, she’s discovered his true identity and is dealing with the fallout of their time together. With her father’s help, she’s going to make things right, then head straight to Serenity Landing University to finish her schooling.
Prince Darius of Eyjania isn’t sure what being called into a meeting with his older brother, King Benjamin, and his uncle could mean, but he’s sure it’s nothing good. His suspicion proves correct when the King of San Majoria confronts him about his secret vacation a few weeks earlier. When his uncle tries to threaten King Edward, the other king promises to invoke the Treaty of 1702 – whatever that is.
To appease their most important trading partner, and because it’s the right thing to do, Darius finds himself living in the States, married to the most beautiful girl he’s ever known – and she wants absolutely nothing to do with him.
With secrets, international treaties, an uncle who will stop at almost nothing to get his way, and a potential exile, Darius and Esther have to learn that even in the mess, it can be beautiful. It can be A Royally Beautiful Mess.

All of Carol Moncado’s books are fun and worth reading all of them. Can’t wait for each new one she comes out with.
A Royally Beautiful Mess by Carol Moncado is the third book in the Crowns and Courtship series. I was so happy to be able to read about Esther and even get to see some of the Eyjania royal family. A Royally Beautiful Mess gets you excited to read about Eyjanaia, and I loved getting to meet new characters and even see some old characters.
Esther the second youngest of the San Majoria royal family. But she has to learn to grow up fast when she learns that sometimes mistakes leave lastings impressions. Esther was a young girl who had to move away from her family and learn to lean on God through it all.
I liked Esther, she was still young but she tried her best to obey her father. She had to work through a lot of things, but she learned to trust not only God but Darius also. I loved how hard Esther worked at learning how to live life. She wanted to be able to help support Darius and she wanted to learn how to care for herself.
Okay, so I think Darius was my favorite in this book. I might have liked him more than Esther :). He was kind and sweet although he and Esther did not get off to a good start he still wanted what was best for her. He tries to care for her and encourage her as they try to restart their lives. Darius had to learn how to not only care for Esther, but how to help out his family even when things get out of hand.
Darius and Esther are a fun couple because they actually liked each other at the beginning. However they had a rocky start and that really made things harder for them. I liked watching them interact with their families and I was so worried when things started to get crazy. However, they learned how to make something beautiful out of a crazy mess.
I really enjoyed A Royally Beautiful Mess. It was a great introduction to the Eyjanaia royal family. I can’t wait to read more about the Eyjanaia family. I would definitely recommend this book especially if you have read her other books, she brought in some characters.
This book tells all about the challenge we can have in life.
This is probably one of my favorite Carol Moncado books, and I’ve read most of them. I loved the redemption theme in this one. Esther and Darius messed up. They slept together and that choice forced their lives together. But through that God turned their mess into something beautiful, hence the title. I found the characters to be fun and relatable. I loved that they were forced to learn to “adult” and not just be pampered royals. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend!
This is a great read
Loved it!
I liked this book better than the first two in the series. All were entertaining, but this one was more fun to read.
I enjoyed following the characters of both royal families and the other families in these series. I’ve read all of the Carol Moncado books and am eagerly waiting for her next book.
This was a fantastic book! The entire series is so wonderful!! I haven’t read a book this good in years!
This is the third of this series that I have read. I have very much enjoyed each one and as the series continues I will be watching for the next release. Great characters. I love the family dynamics and the intrigue of the rotten uncle Isaiah.
I can’t wait for this next book. This author is very enjoyable to read.
