Very sweet holiday romance. (clean romance) Really enjoyed this one. Very well written! Think: “Hallmark movie but not cheesy.”
Finding Happiness
This is her first Christmas without her mom, the bills are by going away, but she was to able to be there for her mom before she passed. She was at the dog park with the other dog walkers when they saw the news report about trying to find a list princess. Felix doesn’t want to rule but if they don’t find Alex’s daughter before he passes he will. Holly is shocked by the picture they show, she knows that picture. She goes home to find the trunk with her adoption papers in it, the picture, the dress and a ring. Her life is about to change.
A sweet romance about what most girls dream about becoming or wanting to be.
A very lovely modern take on a fairy tale. A missing royal princess who doesn’t know she is missing nor that she is a princess having been raised by loving adopted parents. A very distant male relative of the Prince taken in when his parents pass away looking for her. A lovely country with the best of all worlds. Two devious villains. And of course a little fluff ball of a dog devoted to his mistress.
This is a fast fun read that hits the spot when you just need something to take you away.
This was a nice Christmas read. I took a few chapters to actually start liking the characters. But once they get fully developed, it is a very enjoyable book.
Cute
Sweet and easy to read, I liked the characters and appreciated that they supported each other and their struggles felt believable and not made up to generate conflict.
This book was great. I enjoyed a modern day princess with a lot of history being mentioned, World War II and family history and traditions. Thanks for a great story.
Holly sees a news broadcast flash a picture of a cute baby on the tv at her local coffee shop in Baltimore, and is shocked to realize that its her! Apparently, she is the lost princess of a small European country, and her father is hoping to find her before he dies. Felix, the only other option for heir if they can’t find Holly, is thrilled that he can reunite Alfred with his daughter and resume his life in America. As he secretly introduces Holly to the country of her birth, Felix realizes that he may be falling in love with Holly as he falls in love with Coronia again. Throw in a scheming chancellor and an ambitions reporter, and you have the story!
Does this read like a Hallmark movie? Yes. Is that a bad thing? No! Because this was a very cute, totally squee worthy Christmas story! I may have to read it again when we actually get to Christmas! I’ve really enjoyed the advanced copy of this, and I will be looking for more of Scarlet Wilson’s work to enjoy!!
What I like the most about this book is that they communicate so well. Which in the end helps with the conflict resolution. The ending was sweet and nice and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
This was a very good book.
I loved this book! It’s about a girl from Baltimore and she finds out she’s really a princess. The guy trying to find her falls in love with her. She also discovers she loves the country where her father lives, and is dying. I would recommend this book to anyone.
This was a feel-good romantic story. I enjoyed it very much!
Quick read. As a holiday book it included an HEA as a matter of course. It wasn’t great, just OK, but then, I wasn’t expecting the next Jane Austen. It was, however, a good way to fill in time on a holiday weekend.
