But he comes … New England. But he comes not to renew their conflict, but to seek forgiveness.
Will Brandon and Cassandra offer it? No one can say until the moment comes.
“BDSM and Magic in the Colonies” is a series that mixes BDSM with the atmosphere of fanaticism surrounding the Salem Witch Trials. Fortunately the witches are real and a lot of fun to have at parties!

Abuse. Slavery. Kink. Love. Forgiveness. Rebeling. Very entertaining.
Women of these times were terribly abused. So great to read how Penny handled it.
Harry seeks forgiveness for his curse on Cassandra and Ammon.
Set during the times of the Salem Witch trials, our couple encounters an enemy from their past. He comes seeking forgiveness, but can they trust him?
This is book six of the series but generally works fine as a standalone. However, this story is something of a continuation of the previous book (#5), so it might be better to read that one first.
This series continues to skillfully blend history and BDSM in a fascinating and enjoyable manner. The story is well written, easy to read and very steamy with this unusual backdrop. The characters are well developed and fit well into the historical context although with a touch of the paranormal. I found the story to be very entertaining and look forward to more in this series.
HIghly recommended.

Haphet has always had the ability to find Ammod and Cassandra, going where ever he was led, he just didn’t seem to be able to have the timing to arrive before they left. Throughout the years he seemed to be a step behind them. But now the curse had been broken and he knew they were close, he could feel them. He realized how wrong he had been all these years and wanted their forgiveness even though he knew in his heart if the tables were reversed, he wasn’t sure he could forgive someone for doing the same thing to him. This was an extremely short read for me. I almost feel like Haphet was cheated in the details of his story, although it was a good one. I just wish it was a little more in-depth so there was that emotional connection like the other books.
Haphet, the priest whose curse brought immortality to himself, Cassandra and Ammon finally realizes what an angry, petty fool he has been and how much pain he’s brought to Cassandra and Ammon. On his journey to find them and apologize, he meets Penny Heaver, a young woman who could make him whole again. But she becomes ill and Haphet, knowing that only Cassandra and Ammon can save her, goes to them to apologize and enlist their help.
This is another fine episode in this series. It seems they just keep getting better. Again, Alexandra makes us care about her characters and provides life lessons we would do well to heed. There’s a little BDSM, plenty of heat and it seems, more to come. I am looking forward to the next episode.
