There is so much going on in this book. Vampire mom comes for a visit, white snake shows up (is it good or bad?), David’s new business is taking off and Samantha knows it’s only a matter of time before he gives notice, there is a new shop owner in town and he’s really shady, plus Phineas needs the witches help to get Chuckles back to her own dimension. Let’s throw a murder into the mix, just for fun! I was on pins and needles through the book! And the ending, I didn’t know if I should be happy or sad! I really hope this is t the end of the series because I will be heartbroken! We want more, we want more!

Life in Goodsprings, Ga appears to be going well. The characters have developed more of themselves. The writing as always is wonderful with imagery that does not disappoint. I can’t wait to read what’s next for Ms. Barker.

Sam has so much going on in her life she does not have time for what is happening to her after she is bitten by a white snake. The itching, and tiredness, and powers being a bit wonky. This series should be read in order from the beginning the books do not make good stand alones but they are all fun to read and worth it. Looking forward to see what happens next.

There is so much going on with the characters in this book that I don’t really know where to start. So I won’t. If you want to know what is happening then you need to grab yourself a copy and read it. I enjoyed all the trials and tribulations that went on. Sam is in the middle of her friends’ relationship problems, a murder, and a medical mystery. Lack of sleep is keeping her from thinking straight, which may place her in danger. I kept reading to find out what happened next.

Sam is an earth witch, with spells and charms having to do with plants and animals and gardens. Ethan Gallagher, a half-vampire, is a detective with the Goodsprings Police and has just asked Tessa, the coven’s fire witch, about living together. It has thrown Tessa into a spin, needing Sam’s advice. If she accepted, what would she do with her daughter, Allie, who is also a fire witch and would soon be graduating high school – and maybe moving away? Giving Tessa some advice on who to talk to first, she left. Phineas, an accomplished wizard, was next to come in. He had Chuckles, a rooster but actually a creature from another dimension, on his shoulder. David was next; then Ada which meant Ethan had said something to him about living together with Tessa. Then Ada clenched her teeth as her mother walked in! It was already shaping up to be a busy morning!
Sam had been told by Cassandra that she had seen a white snake in the garden, which was odd. So when Sam saw it, she was not totally surprised, but the snake bit her! The punctures seemed to heal immediately and there was no pain, so she didn’t think too much about it, figuring it was not venomous. But later, she noticed her leg itching she is getting weaker and tired – and even seems to be aging while her magic becomes unstable. As everyone still keeps coming to her for help, she feels unable to do much with her own strange symptoms. When a murder occurs and Sam is not doing well herself, will her coven friends figure out what’s happened and get Sam back to herself again? Or is it more serious than they knew?
Wow, we sure get our mysteries worth in this book! So many things going on related or impacted by the other things. The reader feels like an old friend of the coven since we’ve been around them for most of the series! Grab your book and see what’s going on with Sam! As always, you will enjoy an intriguing mystery, with good characters, a well-paced story line, and a touch of humor to add that bit of perfection! A winning combination!
Confused
If this is the last book in the series and is meant to tie loose ends then it fails miserably, if it is supposed to move the story on… then it fails miserably!
The Potion books have always been a quick easy read, there is always a start a middle and an end. A murder, an Investigation and a conclusion
This one did not even sound ;like it was written by the same author! The narration was strange,it really did “sound” like a different voice. I cannot say I was impressed, the murder (as much as it was) was not really investigated, an awful lot of stuff is happening, changes are being made, but are happening with odd conversations with Samantha, The whole white snake thing made no sense at all. This read like 2 books crammed into the usual size of 1.
Not a great entry into this series, though I think it may be the last one….. though I cannot be sure?

This was fantastic! I loved all the little separate mysteries that were all interwoven! I real enjoy reading about Sam and her coven as well as all the interesting creatures she interacts with. I definitely recommend this book and this series!
As members of the Coven approach milestones like school graduation and romantic relationships progressing, there seem to be shifts in challenges from forces from other realms.
Eccentric Phineas asks for help, Sam faces a mystery illness and someone else interested in her library.
Bonds of friendship and family will be tested, stretched, and in some cases broken
Intense paranormal and psychological adventure and drama

Things are Changing Fast in Good Springs, Georgia
There is so much gong on in this episode! There are lots of moving pieces that end in permanent change for Good Springs. This is one series that the reader really needs to read in sequence as the story somewhat builds on the previous story. This is not a cliffhanger or a serial, just a really good series. I received this ARC book for free from Booksprouts and this is my honest review.
