I received this book in ARC, but could not wait to get my copy at midnight. I love Max and Quinn, but I can’t wait until Cole story comes out. Old lovers whom never stop loving each other
Lovers reunion
The author did her thing again! I liked the book as much as the first in this series. “Savannah’s Secrets” was my favorite of the series until I read this book. Thirteen years to mature this relationship like the bourbon. I cannot wait to read, Waking up Married “.
I love second chance romance books. I was happy that Quinn and Max were able to reunite.
This was a fantastic book and I highly recommend it. I look forward to reading the other books in the series.

I enjoyed this new “Bourbon Brothers” story! It’s a fairly quick read that is well written and very intriguing. It’s a romantic story that surrounds a family that owns bourbon distillery in TN. I love the characters! The plot is nicely developed with family, drama, hurt and passion. This story is about Max and Quinn who had a wonderful summer of love until he left her heartbroken. Now they must work together. *I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.*
Max and Quinn never forget the summer they fell in love. Fast forward 13 years later and maturity they are still in love and fighting it . Max has to learn how to deal with the new Quinn that has zero tolerance for his BS. When they are paired together to work on a project that is very important to Max he soon finds out just what the new Quinn is made of and how much he still loves her.

A Reunion of Rivals is a great story. It’s a sweet, sexy and quick read. I loved watching Quinn and Max reconnect and getting to catch up on what’s going on with the previous couples. I enjoyed it and I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series. If you’re looking for a good second chance story, I recommend this book.
I really liked the romance between Quinn and Sam.
This is the first book I have read from Reese Ryan and it is definitely not the last. She has a really great way at grabbing your attention and keeping it.
Sam and Quinn had an amazing summer together when Sam interned at Quinn’s grandfathers farm. Sam was 21 and Quinn was 18. They fell in love but unfortunately because of fear and misunderstandings after the summer they loose contact.
Now 13 years later they meet again and are forced to work together on a project that Sam sees as his, so he has troubles with letting Quinn come in from the sidelines and take it over. So besides the project they also struggle with their feelings for each other so how on earth are they going to make everything work? Can they work their way through all the drama and misunderstandings to finally get a happy ever after?
Sam and Quinn are so great together and I really rutted for them to find their love for each other again!
In the beginning I unfortunately was really annoyed with Sam because he couldn’t let anyone except their family work on the project. It was like he felt very entitled and nobody outside the family could come in and overtake the project especially not Quinn. His jealousy really annoyed me too. He was too alpha but then suddenly he changed and became this amazing man who would do anything to be with Quinn and their working relationship also became more ambitious and real.
I loved all the drama in the family and all the family and friends events that happen throughout the story. The siblings in Sam’s family are so different some you get so angry at and others you just feel for and want to help. And I need to know how Parker and Blake met their significant others and also why they are who they are so I am definitely going to read their books to.
I can definitely recommend this book.

I am a fan of the Bourbon Bothers series and I think it keeps getting better with each book. The chemistry between Max and Quinn was undeniable but it was fun to watch them try to fight it. I really enjoyed this story and I can’t wait to see what happens next. If you’re looking for a good second chance story, I recommend this book.

Set aside most of a day for this sweetly funny NC17 second chance office romance between Matt Abbott 34 and Quinn Bazemore 31.

A Reunion of Rivals. That title practically screams some of my favorite romance tropes, and Reese Ryan certainly did them up right. So, we have a workplace romance with a second chance, and given the way things happened on the first go-round, we get some enemies to lovers fun too. This is part of a series, but I didn’t have any problem following the story or the characters, so I would say it works as a standalone. I really liked the setting for this one. As a Kentucky girl, I know my bourbon, so the distillery was interesting to me. Of course, some pretty great characters didn’t hurt either. All in all, the story is engaging and fun, the characters were likable and relatable, and now that I’ve met the Abbott family, I want more. I guess I know what I need to be reading before the next book is out.
A Reunion of Rivals is the fourth in Reese Ryan’s Bourbon Brothers series, about the Abbott family who runs the world-renowned King’s Finest Distillery in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. This stands alone well, as I read it and enjoyed it immensely without having read the previous stories in the series.
Max Abbott is the marketing VP at his family’s business, and feels ambushed when he returns from a wild weekend celebrating a friend’s upcoming wedding to a company meeting about a new product that he and his sister have been pressing to add to the lineup. He’s thrilled about the fruit bourbons but marketedly less excited that this will involve partnering with a local orchard owned by Quinn Bazemore’s grandfather. Quinn’s a collaboration expert, and it makes perfect sense for her to work side by side with Max to ensure the partnership is a success.
While Max’s got nothing against the orchard, he and Quinn share a secret past. Except that their shared history was a bust. Well, it was a raging success until Max blew it up, and the two haven’t so much as laid eyes on each other in the intervening years.
Ms Ryan does a great job with this secret former relationship story, with loads of simmering passion balanced with fantastic family and friend dynamics. Max and Quinn are both strong characters with big hearts. A Reunion of Rivals is a terrific page-turner, and I look forward to going back to read the previous books and to the upcoming titles.
“A Reunion of Rivals” by Reese Ryan featured a slow burn, second-chance romance and mature, likeable lead characters in Quinn Bazemore and Max Abbott. Quinn and Max found themselves in an awkward situation when they met again thirteen years after a youthful breakup and were forced to work together to launch a new fruit brandy co-produced by their families’ companies. They soon discovered that they were still quite attracted to each other even after all of that time apart, but both fought their feelings for as long as they could. I loved the way that Max and Quinn worked through their issues, both past and present, to reconnect and find love again.
The family dynamics in this book were also very interesting, particularly between Max and the other Abbott siblings. For example, there seemed to be a lot of tension between Max and his brother Cole because of the fact that Cole chose not to work in the family business. Cole seemed like a good guy, however, and I hope to learn more about him and the rest of the Abbott family in future books.
Overall, “Reunion of Rivals” was an enjoyable read and I recommend it for all fans of contemporary romance, especially those who enjoy the second-chance or workplace romance tropes. I will definitely be reading more of Ms. Ryan’s books in the future!

This fast-paced, sizzling reunion is sure to delight! With book four in her always delicious Bourbon Brothers series Reese Ryan stays at the top of her game in bringing passion and drama to the surface for her reader to devour in A REUNION OF RIVALS. The cast of characters is very familiar if you’ve been reading the previous books in the series and the chemistry is spot on. I’m looking forward to the next in the series already!
Max Abbott is divine! He’s sexy and self-assured yet he’s down to earth and relatable to the reader. I enjoyed watching him be rattled by the return of Quinn to his life.
Quinn Bazemore is attention grabbing. She’s competent and on track to blaze through obstacles, but the doubt she has in herself after the most recent heartbreak she’s suffered makes her approachable to a reader. We can sympathize, yet rally behind her character towards achieving her dreams.
I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a close-knit family who is on top of the business industry with recent success, but still puts family above all else. Watching each sibling find their forever love has been quite a ride and I’m looking forward to continuing the journey!
This book is so sexy and fun . It’s deep, entertaining and intimate. Quinn and Max have a history and present that is fraught with tension and drama and I looooooove it
Enemies to lovers is a trope that is always sure to drag you along for a rollercoaster ride that you won’t soon forget .
And one of the best parts of this book is the supporting cast are fan favorites from the previous stories but…this is indeed a stand alone book.
I thoroughly recommend this book. Enjoy.
A Reunion of Rivals is my first Reese Ryan romance and I loved every moment of it. It is actually my first Harlequin Desire novel also and I have totally been missing out. This is the 4th book in The Bourbon Brother series but I can completely be read as a stand alone.
Quinn was the star of this book for me she was so assertive and brilliant. She held strong around Max and protected her heart until he deserved for her to open herself to him. Max was also a great character because of his faults. He was business smart and confident but when it came to Quinn he was unsure and insecure. Some of my favorite moments were him being vulnerable and asking Quinn to take the lead. The slow burn romance between them was worth the wait and when they come together it’s passionate and emotional.
A Reunion of Rivals by Reese Ryan is second chance romance that is guaranteed to entertain you from beginning to end. All the characters are wonderful from the main ones to each and every side characters, especially Cole – I need more of him . It made me go back and buy the other books in the series to satisfy me until the next book releases in 2021.
This book is a standalone read even though it is part of a series and this is Max and Quinn’s story. Max and Quinn spent one night together but Max left without and explanation and that hurt Quinn so badly and she felt used even though there connection and chemistry was so strong. When they meet years later they both have to work together and even though they both still feel the chemistry and connection between them they both put there careers first. Will this be there second chance or has Quinn’s trust been broken so much that she will not take a chance on Max after everything that happened before. Wow i love this book so much but then i love all of Reese’s books as they are so well written and real page turners and they keep you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what will happen next. i recommend you read this book and others by Reese Ryan and you will not be disappointed.

This story sizzles from the beginning. The characters are so well written and developed. The family relationships play such an important part to the couple. There’s humor, sibling love, friendships and just the right amount of family drama. The writer has done an amazing job of bringing the love from the past to the present. This is definitely worth your time to read. I am patiently waiting for for Cole’s and Zora’s story.

I am a huge fan of the office romance trope, so A REUNION OF RIVALS from new-to-me author Reese Ryan was right up my alley. This is a quick-paced read that truly captured my attention. The story flows effortlessly from beginning to end, and I loved getting to know the characters. This is the fourth book from THE BOURBON BROTHERS series and it can be enjoyed as a standalone.
The Abbot family and the Bazemore family have been the best of friends for many generations. About thirteen years ago, Max Abbot and Quinn Bazemore had a summer romance while Max was interning on the Bazemore’s farm. Although they were young, they fell madly in love. Unfortunately, Max abruptly ended their relationship when his internship came to a close. Quinn was devastated to say the very least.
Quinn is a public relations guru and Max is the VP of Marketing for his family’s successful distillery. After years of not seeing each other, they find themselves working together on a lucrative deal. Even though they both deny their feelings, the old spark is still alive and well. Over time, they evolve their work relationship into much more.
Quinn and Max are a hot couple, and the author does an excellent job of balancing their sexual tension with their sexy times. The supporting characters add a lot of personality to the plot, and I can’t wait to read their respective stories. The Abbot brothers and their sister Zora are a captivating bunch. Overall, a solid romance that nicely combines the love of family with the sexiness of romance.

This second chance love story was a cute done in true Reese Ryan fashion. I loved the way that Quinn and Max found love, lost said love, found smoking hot passion and finally settled on love again. It was good catching up with familiar “faces” from past Bourbon Brothers’ stories. I can’t wait to see what Ryan has up her sleeves for Zora. Hopefully it’s one Dallas Hamilton.
