With the same incomparable style and warm, inviting voice that have made her beloved by millions of readers far and wide, New York Times bestselling author Fannie Flagg has written an enchanting Christmas story of faith and hope for all ages that is sure to become a classic. Deep in the southernmost part of Alabama, along the banks of a lazy winding river, lies the sleepy little community known … community known as Lost River, a place that time itself seems to have forgotten. After a startling diagnosis from his doctor, Oswald T. Campbell leaves behind the cold and damp of the oncoming Chicago winter to spend what he believes will be his last Christmas in the warm and welcoming town of Lost River. There he meets the postman who delivers mail by boat, the store owner who nurses a broken heart, the ladies of the Mystic Order of the Royal Polka Dots Secret Society, who do clandestine good works. And he meets a little redbird named Jack, who is at the center of this tale of a magical Christmas when something so amazing happened that those who witnessed it have never forgotten it. Once you experience the wonder, you too will never forget A Redbird Christmas.

A wonderful easy read. Fannie Flagg does not disappoint. Enjoyable with a happy-ever-after ending. Charming characters, especially Jack.
Fannie Flagg creates likable eccentric characters in many of her books, including this one. It’s a modern fairy tale completely great to read at Christmas!
just a real nice read I’ve recommended it to my friends
Loved this book. Amhuge fan of Fannie Flag and found this to be satisfying and heartwarming. Not as deep into her usual homespun characters but very meaningful with a wonderful message.
Fannie Flag is the most impeccable writer. Every character is written in a believable manner, and the reader is pulled into the story, unwilling to put down the book. I can only hope more books from this author will appear on my reading list.
A heartwarming, feel good story I thoroughly enjoyed reading it
What can I say, I just like Fanny Flagg and the warm down home, good old days feelings the evoke.
I found this book very enjoyable. It is a feel good book and in our current climate, an escape to a much kinder time.
Love anything Fanny Flagg writes
Ms Flagg always tells a heartwarming story. My favorite is still “Whistlestop” but everything she writes is always refreshing. That includes her passing for white story. Which made me an old white man so ashamed. That one brought tears.
An excellent, read! A wonderful way to spend a cold dreary day.

I love Fannie Flagg! I have read A Redbird Christmas several times in the last few years, and I always find myself laughing and crying, even though I know what is coming. This is such a sweet, simple story of a lost man finding his way. Read it, you will love it!
This is a lovely feel-good story. Perfect for the holidays.
A feel good read. Cozy easy to like characters and a happy ending.
It was just a happily ever after fun book to read.
Thoroughly enjoyed!!
I really enjoyed this book! I read it the week before Christmas with a light snow falling . I didn’t want it to end . The kindness of folks and the characters in the book were a joy to read. The big hearts and souls of strangers plus a little magic and self discovery made it a joy along with a few chuckles.
This was a great read I enjoyed it fully. I love Fanny Flagg Books but this one was one of her best. I loved all the people in the little town, made you want to move there and meet them all.
