Couldn’t put it down!
I love her books! The plots are original and funny. She sets up unusual problems for her characters and then solves them in entertaining ways. Her female characters are strong, intelligent women who are respected by their friends for their abilities. I read one of her Regency romances first, then bought the rest of the ones with the period …
nice lovely story
Georgette Heyer’s books are always a pleasure to read. No deep thinking; but well written, entertaining fluff.
Enjoyed the turn of events……characters well established
If you like Georgette Heyer, you’ll like this book.
Nice short story in the Regency genre. Loved reading it.

entirely predictable
This is a really great Regency. The prose is elegant and the plot is original (not lifted from Heyer). There is no explicit sex.
Enjoyed
Pleasant, although situations were not always plausible.
