Is It The Royal Treatment or Treated Royally?!
Wow! Talk about the ROYAL Treatment!
She’s visiting the country her Grandfather hailed from expecting to connect with her ROOTS…
What she’s NOT expecting is becoming part of the tale!
However, that’s exactly what happens when she’s mistaken for the Princess, & then said Princess turns up missing…
Soon she’s embroidered in the plot Sooo deeply she doesn’t know if she’ll ever make it out again!!
Especially, considering she’s fallen for the story’s Prince!!!
Will they find & Rescue the REAL Princess…?!
Will she get a HEA with her Prince, or is this just a Vacation Story with an expiration date…?!

This one was just as enjoyable, fun, and entertaining as the first two books in this series. This one has a definite Cinderella, fairytale quality. After her car breakdowns, Casey stumbles into the guardhouse at the royal estate of Moritania where she is treated like royalty. When Prince Eric is called and comes to see what is going on it takes him a minute to realize that Casey isn’t who everyone thinks she is. And that is exactly what he needs to avert an impending disaster. That is also when all the fun begins. How can you not be entertained by a secretary from Brooklyn, who just happens to have some royal blood, or so she’s been told, meets actual royalty and is mistaken for the crown princess? It’s refreshing, to say the least.
This was a cute and enjoyable read. I love Casey’s sassiness. She was a breath of fresh air. Eric was a great counter part to Casey. All proper on the outside and a scoundrel on the inside.
A wonderfully written fairytale type of romance. Casey wins a free trip to Europe and decides to get a stamp from a small country Moritania, where her grandfather is from and says they have roots there. When she is mistaken for princess Cassandra, prince Eric, Cassandra’s uncle, comes to talk with her and shows her that she, Casey from Brooklyn, could be her twin. In the meantime princess Cassandra comes up missing so Casey is asked to act like her till the real princess is found. This gives the sprarks and chemistry between Casey and Eric to take off and blossom. I really enjoyed this story it has humor and some steamy moments to a wonderfully HEA. I also enjoyed that some off the villians can be used in future stories linking the standalones.

A well-written book that had me smiling as New Yorker Casey Phillips and Crown Prince Eric von Lieberhaven interact. There is kidnapping, mistaken identity, suspense, drama a book I enjoyed reading from the first to the last page. A book I would recommend. This is one amazingly emotional romance!
This book is one of my favorite romances of all time. I have read it several times and each time gets me right in the feels.
Casey wins a trip to Europe from a contest and decides to visit the country named Moritania. She’s heard stories from her family all her life and didn’t believe them but she wants to at least get her passport stamped there. When she ends up at the guard station the guards seem overly concerned for her and they call for “Eric” to get her. It’s a case of mistaken identity and a fairie tale coming true.
It’s well written and developed and the author decided to leave it as it was when it was written in 1987. So it’s a peek back to a time before cell phones, the Internet, and current world politics.

Every time I read a Korbel Classic I love it, and I love A Prince of a Guy even more than the last one I read.
Casey is a woman from Brooklyn on a free trip to Europe when she decides to visit the tiny country of Moritania, as she’d heard from her family that at one time a distant relatives had ties there. It’s where she meets Prince Eric, the man to whom she is immediately attracted. When he comes to her with a proposal that she impersonate his missing niece, the Crown Princess, she’s really not sure it’s such a good idea. But, she wants to spend more time with Eric, and it seems like it might be a fun adventure. Falling in love with Prince Eric though? Definitely not something she ever planned for.
I’m not sure how many more Korbel Classics there are, but I hope there are more because they’re all so charming and sweet. Vintage though A Prince of a Guy may be, it’s well-written, highly entertaining and Eric and Casey make an adorable, sexy couple.
Dreyer’s princess out-does Disney’s
I loved this book I love Eileen Dreyer’s writing. She’s a grande dame of romance writers in the ’80s, and her stories still read fresh thirty years later. A Prince of a Guy is a modern fairy tale – a mash-up of the Grace Kelly true version and the old french fairy tale,. The prince/hero hails from the tiny, wealthy independent Alpine principality of Moritania. He’s about to yield the throne to the rightful heir, his niece Cassandra, as soon as she’s married and legal entitled to rule. He’s been the perfect Prince Regent, having acted as his country’s CFO as well as CEO, and he’s as handsome and noble and good, as a fairy tale hero must be. The kicker is the heroine: a tell-it-like-it-is secretary and night school student from Brooklyn, USA. Compared to our feisty, fierce Casey, a Disney princess comes off like the weak sister. Casey and the Prince meet when her car strands her at the border and the guards mistake her for Princess Cassandra, and call Prince Eric to rescue her, and… I don’t do spoilers, (and it’s a pretty well recognized plot anyway), but Dreyer’s polished prose and wicked sense of humor imbue the heroine and her story with class, sass, and badass in equal parts, and smother it all in snarky ,steamy, sexy (but non-explicit) romance. HEA at the end, a total stand-alone, (although some of the villains escape to cause trouble in a future novel), and a nice spin on a timelessly entertaining trope – this is classic romance.

Modern Day Prince Charming Meets Queens, NYC
This book was originally written in 1987. The story holds up well and is accurate for the time. This is a funny telling of a modern Prince and the Pauper type of tale with a great romance thrown in. It is absolutely believable. I have enjoyed this author’s humorous romances and this is one of the best. I received this book for free and this is my honest review.
