Most people would probably be embarrassed to land themselves back in their hometown and working at a pizzeria after an ugly divorce. Not me.It’s home, and I have one last shot to make Wren Daniels see me as more than just her brother’s best friend. When the opportunity to show her what’s been right in front of her this whole time presents itself, I take it, holding nothing back this time.Wren … nothing back this time.
Wren thinks we’re pretending, but there’s nothing fake about the way I feel.
After all, she’s always had…a pizza my heart.

No one does a rom-com like Teagan Hunter! I loved this book, it had such feel-good vibes and I really found myself invested in the story. A must re
Absolutely loved the witty banter between Wren and Foster! So excited to start I Knead You Tonight!
So since I saw the name of this book and read the blurb, I’ve been wanting to read this book. It did not disappoint at all. I laughed so hard during this book. It’s obvious that Wren, Foster and Winston were close. They have that bond and stories to match. Things took a weird turn after Foster professed his love for Wren. Time and divorce have separated them but who knew a simple pizza place with sassy, horny and lazy(Winston) wait staff could put them together. Foster still holds his heart out to Wren even though she hasn’t said she loves him yet. She fights him and watches him burn every date he has. This is when things get good. They decide to fake date… you know what this means.. I loved Wren. She is feisty and sassy. She gives you honest answers but holds onto her heart. She won’t admit she loves you until the very last minute or you do a big romantic guesture for her. Foster has to come clean about his past before they can have their happy ever after. This book was great and has a very sweet ending. I can’t wait to read Drew’s story in the next book!!
I Wren!
So I’ve gone on a Tegan Hunter reading binge in the last three days. This one has another sassy strong sarcastic female lead, which I flove! Gave me a lot of laughs and a few awwwww moments! Onto the next one!
A Pizza My Heart by Teagan Hunter is the first book in her Slice series. A cute best friends to enemies to lovers tale that is also about second chances and starting over. Foster is back in town after leaving abruptly, getting married and then getting divorced. Eager to get back to his roots in the town he truly feels is home and to get back into the good books of Wren. But Wren isn’t as easily won over as he hoped. When Foster left all those years ago – he left a hole in her life and she isn’t as eager or willing to let him back in. But he is persistent and true love wins all in this low-drama standalone novel. Witty and cute, this was a fun read. Enjoy!
This book was devoured quickly much like all the other books I have read by Teagan. It was just that good. Full of sass and witty lines, especially slice ten (chapter ten) which ended up being just a sentence. I enjoyed the story and the characters. There wasn’t some horrific or troubling problem for them to get over. They just had to find all the pieces of the puzzle and put them together. It was such a fast and easy read it was only a couple hours and I was done. I couldn’t read fast enough and I enjoyed every little bit of the ride and the characters. You fall in love with the characters as they fall in love with each other. Foster is the perfect book boyfriend. Loved this new addition to her works. I can’t wait for more.
Teagan Hunter is definitely the queen of romcoms. A Pizza My Heart was funny and lighthearted with a little steam thrown in. Foster and Wren were a fun couple destined to be together and the side characters were fun and mysterious also! I can’t wait for Drew’s story!

A Pizza My Heart derreterá seus corações.

A Pizza My Heart will make your hearts melt.
I don’t understand what the great appeal of brother’s best friend is. And despite being classified as brother’s best friend, in my opinion, A Pizza My Heart is more of a best friends to lovers. Which, to me, is great because I adore and comprehend the appeal of best friends to lovers. The friendship between Foster and Wren was an important factor in the story, Wren made it clear that they were best friends. Their friendship is evident, as well as the romance. So strong I could almost touch.
It is an excellent romantic comedy. I adored all the characters and was well entertained with the story. It was my first Teagan Hunter and I wonder why haven’t I read anything by the author before.

This is my second book by Teagan Hunter, the first one being Let’s Get Textual which I loved, and somewhere in the back of my mind I was hoping that I would love this book as much, but with A Pizza My Heart I really can’t pinpoint why I didn’t love it as much as I was hoping to.
Wren and Forster were good together but I think it has mainly to do with Wren’s constant back and that was pulling away from some serious development between the two of them.
On the other hand, I loved the family and friends dynamics — Drew, Winston (Wren’s twin) and their father — and how they just fit in with each other, something like Wren’s home, all different styles but somehow still gel.
However, if anyone is looking for a light and easy read this is the book for you!
2.5 – 3 Stars!
An adorable second chance that has all the feels! Teagan Hunter is a great story teller. And this book was a great story of a great love between great friends. It just takes 4 years for these two to finally see the truth and finally see seach other in a new light.
5 STARS
Holy crap on a cracker batman!!! I think this has to be my favorite book of Teagan’s so far. That statement is NOT to be taken lightly!!! I’ve absolutely loved every book of hers, but I think this one takes the cake. One of my favorite trope’s is brother/sister’s best friend and this one is EPIC!
From the moment we see Wren reconnect with Foster, I knew this was going to be good!!!! I LOVE how Teagan re-introduced him into her life, it was super sly and super perfect. There was so much instant connection and chemistry, it made it funny to see how blind to it Wren was. I really liked how we got the Dual POV with these too, it was so perfectly done. Every moment I saw from each POV was exactly what I had wanted. I especially loved when we got inside Foster’s head. His life long crush on Wren was so darn adorable!
Drew and Winston made for the PERFECT secondary characters in this. Between Drew’s naughty mouth and Winston’s “charm” they had me hooting with laughter the whole time! Between the banter and chemistry with Wren and Foster, Drew & Winston’s interference and the pizzeria, I was so in love and constantly laughing. This was one big happy family of a crew and it made the story super special.
I think Wren and Foster are my new favorite couple of Teagan’s. I just love everything about these two. I loved how well they know each other, how Wren could basically read Foster’s mind, and how everyone around them was rooting for them. Now, I need more!! lol
This was a great story!! I love a friends to lovers romance and this one did not disappoint.
Wren and Foster have been friends forever. When Foster moves back to town Wren has fun watching him date. When an idea comes for them to fake date to help each other get back into it. Will the Foster be able to share how he has felt about Wren without spooking her? Will Wren be able to see what is in front of her?
I look forward to reading the next one!
“You’ve been sneaking your way into my heart for the last thirteen years, piece by piece.”
“Slice by slice,” I tease. “I mean, it’s only right for us to compare it to pizza.”
What a fun read! Great humor, super sexy, with a little mix of friends-to-lovers/second-chance romance all combined into a delicious start to a new series that has me hungry for more. I loved Hunter’s Texting series and am eagerly awaiting I Knead You Tonight–that teaser at the end of A Pizza My Heart is so good!
This is such a cute story!! Wren is pretty clueless throughout it, which was kinda frustrating for me, tho. Even when Foster has laid it all on the line, when she’s heard from multiple sources… her head stays firmly in lala land. Foster’s a great BBF, tho! I really enjoyed him, and I did LIKE Wren even when I was annoyed by her. LOL
If you’re looking for a quick, flirty, fun read, I definitely recommend this one! And I’m looking forward to the next book in the series!! : )
True story…the day I started reading A Pizza My Heart, I broke my toe getting out of bed . So, while I’m lying back in bed now because it hurts so dang much, I started reading. While I was reading I forgot all about that stupid toe, because I was too busy laughing so hard I tears coming out of my eyes. It wasn’t even just the MC Wren & Foster, it was Drew, Winston and a whole slew of others! I was about half way done, and thought to myself, if I keep highlighting, I’m going to have the whole book highlighted .
Our MC Wren & Foster were best friends growing up. Actually, it was like the three musketeers with Foster, Wren and her twin brother, Winston. Foster is back in town, following his nasty divorce, and finds himself working with Wren & Winston at Slice. After some terribly hilarious dates gone wrong, Foster finds himself fake dating Wren. Now he just needs to make her see that there is nothing fake about his feelings for her. Wren has always had a pizza of his heart.
I’ve read this book 3 times now, & it was just as funny the third time around. When Teagan Hunter writes us all a rom com, be prepared to belly laugh your way through it! I loved it so much I wish I could give it 10 stars!
Cute, charming and very funny story about Foster and Wren. Childhood friends turning lovers with chemistry in humor and love. This is well written, made me swoon and laugh out loud throughout.
Teagan, the pizza queen, does not disappoint with this new world she brings us. I couldn’t put a pizza my heart down. It was love from first slice.
I’m still fairly new to Teagan Hunter’s books, which makes A Pizza My Heart the second book I’ve read by her. I can’t exactly pinpoint why I didn’t love this as much as everyone else did. But I’m going to say that maybe my mood had a lot to do with it. It’s definitely a cute read that has many funny moments, but I was expecting at least a little drama here and there? I honestly don’t know.
I will say that I read this after coming from a pretty emotional read, so I guess I was in that same mind set. And was expecting there to be a little more of everything in this one. However, this is the perfect light-hearted read with the best snarky one-liners, I might even snag them for myself.
It’s definitely a pretty straight forward story where you’ll find yourself grinning with everything happening between these two. If you’re a Teagan fan, I think you’ll definitely love this one. I loved the supporting characters and am looking forward to reading more from this series.
Another pizza to the amazing stories that are Teagan Hunter
I became a huge fan of Teagan Hunter after I read the Text series. Her books are fresh, funny, and original. I loved that the chapters were named Slices. Wren and Foster belong together but being put in the friend zone sets off a chain of events that aren’t fixable until Foster returns to town. The feelings are still there and it was a pleasure reading as Wren sees her best friend as the love of her life. I can’t wait to read Winston’s book and revisit all these lovable and hilarious characters.
