For the past year, talented chef Millie has been consumed with running her new catering business with her sisters, Dru and Tasha. It isn’t until Jackson walks through their door that she realizes something may be missing in the recipe of her life. For the past year, Jackson has been dealing with the fallout of his wife’s abandonment. He’s had to learn how to be a single father to their … their eight-year-old daughter, and will do anything to fill the void her mother left. It isn’t until he commissions Millie for his daughter’s birthday party that he realizes he’s forgotten that he’s not only a father, but a man.
They both think they’re content in their lives, but sometimes the right amount of spice can turn an okay dish into a magnificent one. A Pinch of Salt may be all that’s needed to bring Millie and Jackson the flavor they’ve been missing.

True love dosen’t always run smooth but cupcakes help you get there in a better mood. If you don’t accept your past, you just slow yourself down from getting to where your jouney takes you.
A fun light read and the first in a series of three sisters who ow n a baking company. This is Millie’s story about finding love when you truly least expect it. Milley meets Jackson and there is an immediate attraction. A single dad… for all intents and purposes… his daughter is the tough one to accept Millie. Its a fun romance and a great read. Enjoy!
It was an enjoyable easy read
Nice, easy read.
I enjoyed reading this book. It touched on many day-to-day issues many of us do face. Great characters!
Enjoyed it so much I’m reading the sequel and enjoying this one too.
Good romantic book. Realistic characters not billionaire or CEO or some unrealistic powerful characters. Steamy but not porn
I planned to read this book as a stand alone but it was so good that I have to continue with the series. This is such a sweet happily ever after story.
Loved this book. Predictable but nice read.
I like happy endings
Enjoyed it. Keep my interest
Quick and easy read. A cute romantic book with believable story line and good characters. Enjoy a little giggle and a little teary eye.
good read
Good book. Would recommend. Well written.
Sweet romance.
Love the happy ending!!!! With 3 sisters, I loved the sibling relationship…
I totally loved this journey for Millie and Jackson. Ms. Lopez does an excellent job of creating the close-knit bond of Millie and her sisters. Thinking that her life is the catering business that she runs with her sister, Millie is thrown by her attraction to single dad, Jackson. Their chemistry is immediate but their relationship is not without detours on the way to their HEA.
Jackson contends with his wife’s abandonment and the effects it has on his young daughter, Kayla. Ms. Lopez hits all the requirements for a satisfying story: couple chemistry, a bit of angst, humor, sexy banter, and love—both romantic and familial. I love that she gives a glimpse of what is to come for the three sisters and I cannot wait to read Tasha and Dru’s stories
Love this story!
Nice meeting of gal baking in the back room with a school teacher guy somewhat temperamental daughter. Realistic reasons for each for them getting together-not highly contrived
Good read. Not to much sex details. Seems lately thats.all book most books sex sex sex detailed sex. Repeated constantly. This one was ok it that area
