Hard-driven, corporate lawyer Evan Conner is tasked with accompanying his ailing boss to Kringle, Texas, where his employer plans a lavish party to make amends for his Scrooge-like misdeeds that almost destroyed the quaint little town five years earlier. Dismayed to find a stray dog who’s just had puppies in the house they’ve rented for the event, Evan calls local vet, Chloe Anderson to bail him … him out. Chloe is the most charming woman Evan’s met in a very long time, despite her silly Christmas costume and plethora of pet hair on her clothes. He loves her bubbly attitude and bright smiles. But the town is suspicious of Evan and his wily boss, and they warn Chloe that big-city men simply can’t be trusted. As Evan’s feelings for Kringle and the adorable veterinarian grow, he finds himself yearning for the most perfect Christmas gift of all…Chloe’s love.

A classic story with enough original twists to make for a quick and interesting read. Loved how additional characters can become stories of their own. Bought it, started reading and couldn’t put it down. Finished in just over an hour…with interruptions. Highly recommend.
I applaud clean romances! However the plot didn’t have much more than the “hero” and “heroine” being attracted to each other from the start and how it proceeded. Lots of internal dialogue and not much tension to make it more interesting. Yes, there was a “bad” guy, but he didn’t really pose much of a threat except boss the hero around. To add interest, there are some pet dogs thrown in since the heroine is a vet, and there’s small town charm.
the best so far this year. I slipped into the story and never left. What a perfect Christmas
Perfect story and I loved it.
A Perfect Christmas Gift is sweet Christmas novella set in the wonderful small town of Kringle. Vet Chloe and lawyer Evan are very different on the surface but at Christmas anything can happen. This is a delightful, easy to read romance with great characters and delightful dogs. I look forward to my next visit to Kringle. This is the ideal book to curl up with whilst enjoying a large mug of hot chocolate.
Lawyer comes to small town to help his boss supposedly appoligize for past deeds, however boss was conniving more wrongs. Lawyer quits bigjob, falls inlove with local vet and plans new beginnings .
Clean language and good values.
This book was fun & easy to read. I loved the characters & it made me cry. I’m a sucker for Christmas stories and I like happy endings.
Took place in Kringle Texas, a very Christmasy town. Love finally blossomed and I am sure they live happily ever after.
Great fun read! Curl up with a glass of wine on a cold winter’s eve and enjoy.
Lori Wilde is one of my favorite authors.
Fast read, interesting
I read any holiday books. This was okay. Predictable.
A quick relaxing afternoon afternoon read. A little cheesy but entertaining.
Great story. The book didn’t drag out.
A good, clean romance. I had a smile on my face for every page.
His boss was such a jerk! Great characterization! It was great to see it work out so well for you the town
This was a clean, quick and fun Christmas story.
It has humour, excitement, and a very sweet, small town clean romance.
This is the literary equivalent of a Hallmark movie, and it was a pleasure to read.
It is a nice clean Kringle Kristmas romance. Totally enjoyable. Love the main characters. Love the town.
Enjoyed the storyline of redeeming/restoring the dilapidated farm while doing the same with their marriage. Unfortunately, not a clean romance; would’ve liked better without the sex scenes.
It was a little predictable and innocent.
