A wonderful love story.
A Perfect Amish Match is an appealing Amish novel. Vannetta Chapman created likeable and relatable characters that I wanted to know more about (they become friends). Olivia Mae Miller takes care of her two ailing grandparents. It has become harder as her grandfather’s memory becomes worse. He is frail and needs supervision. Olivia Mae is a sweet, kind, thoughtful woman who has been successful at matching local couples. She has a good success rate which is why Noah’s family believes Olivia Mae can help Noah. Noah enjoys being an auctioneer and a bachelor. He is not interested in settling down and his past dates of been unsuccessful. The only way to get his well-meaning mother off his back, though, is to agree to let Olivia Mae set him up with three different women. This is when the fun begins. Noah is an absolute disaster on dates. Noah has a lot going for him with his good heart and a solid work ethic. But Noah is absolutely clueless about women and dating. Noah’s calamitous dates had me laughing out loud. Olivia takes him under her wing to show him how to properly court an Amish woman. Noah and Olivia Mae get to know each other. Olivia Mae even finds she likes Noah’s corny animal jokes. Unfortunately, the road to happiness is never smooth, but full of stones and potholes. There comes a time when heart wrenching choices will have to made. I thought A Perfect Amish Match was well-written with steady pacing. It is such a charming story that will have you chuckling and teary. A Perfect Amish Match can be read as a standalone if you have not picked up the other novels in the Indiana Amish Brides series. Christian elements (prayer, faith and God’s blessings for example) are beautifully integrated into the story (enhance the book). Important life lessons are learned by our characters. God has a hope and plan for each of us and He only wants the best for us. My favorite phrase is “some people are older when they fall in love and maybe that’s because it takes a while for them to know their hearts”. Vannetta Chapman never fails to provide a story that will touch our hearts. A Perfect Amish Match is a touching tale that will live with you long after you close the book.
Be prepared, because I’m going to gush over this book. I’ve read lots and lots of Amish fiction, but this is truly one of the sweetest Amish stories I’ve ever read.
I fell completely in love with the characters of Olivia Mae and Noah. Olivia is sweet, caring, and self-sacrificing. She’s given up her own dreams to care for her aging grandparents, but she has done it with grace and love. Even though she’s young, these same characteristics make her a very successful matchmaker. Noah is a good-hearted, hard-working young man who is an introvert and just does not know how to act or talk on a date.
This story becomes quite charming when Olivia the matchmaker decides to give Noah lessons on how to act while on a date. I laughed at all of Noah’s corny jokes and how clueless he was about what young Amish women expected on a date. As the relationship deepens between Olivia and Noah, some serious decisions have to be made concerning the care of her grandparents. The question becomes how self-sacrificing should they be with their own hopes as they seek to do the right thing for all concerned.
There’s both laughter and tears in this story, which makes it the best kind of book to read. If you love Amish fiction, you will fall in love with Olivia and Noah, too.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.
These characters really came to life and were full of depth and individual personality. Noah is stubborn, but Olivia Mae has worked with worse as a matchmaker. I loved how their romance took them both by surprise as their feelings deepened. There was plenty of romantic tension and anticipation while they grew together despite Olivia Mae’s reticence as she dealt with being the sole caregiver of her grandparents with declining health. I loved their banter and friendship, as well as the relationship between Olivia and her grandparents. This is a book I plan to re-read in the future!

I received a copy of this book from the author just because she’s cool like that. I was really excited to read this because it’s # 1 Amish and # 2 a matchmaker. The characters were GREAT and Noah and Olivia Mae were my favorite. I cried the last couple of chapters just because it was so good and sweet and even though I haven’t read any other stories in this series, I will be looking for them now. Thanks to the author for the book!
Vanetta Chapman is one of my go too Amish novel writers. I feel like I am part of the book when I read it. In this one I was witness to 2 very bad dates with Noah, and felt his pain and Olivia Mae’s amusement was felt as she tried to tell him what he did wrong on them. The story just grabs you from the get go, the books is just so well written you don’t want to put it down.
A Perfect Amish Match
An Amish tale that tugged at my emotions and my heart! I especially loved the light and humorous banter that passed between the two main characters, Olivia Mae Miller and Noah Graber. It’s not often that a book has me laughing out loud. There’s also sadness and tears in this story. I think that’s what makes a book worth five Stars. Chapman knows her readers and what they expect from her writings. A Perfect Amish Match was so worth the time it took to read it.
This book would be great for all fans of Vannetta Chapman, readers of Amish fiction and Christian Fiction. I highly recommend it!

A brand new-to-me author with a brand new-to-me troupe! LOVED!! This was an amazing book! A Perfect Amish Match was everything you want in a sweet romance with so much more! Vannetta Chapman did an amazing job with Noah and Oliva’s story! FIVE STARS!!
Who is Olivia Mae? What is she known for in her community? Who is Noah? Why does he end up on her doorstep? What happens when he shows up? When he goes out with Jane on a Tuesday night, what happens? When he goes out with Francine, that does not go quite so well, why? What happens at home with Olivia’s Daddi? There is a quote by Abraham Lincoln in the story that struck home for me, “You cannot escape the responsibility by evading it today.” What do we learn and/or figure out about Noah when he and Olivia Mae go for a pizza and ice cream? The ending of this story had my heart happy and a smile on my face.

Vannetta Chapman is one of my go-to authors, whether it be Amish fiction, suspense or even a mix of both, I’m ready to read!
Her latest release, for Harlequin Love Inspired, is entitled A Perfect Amish Match. Well-written, with characters I’d love to sit and chat with, A Perfect Amish Match is an Indiana Amish Brides story.
When Noah Graber returns home, with three failed relationships behind him, Olivia Mae Miller, the resident and successful matchmaker, determines to find a match for Noah.
Beginning with three of her unattached friends, Olivia attempts to create a match between them and Noah, sometimes with rather funny results as poor Noah is clueless when it comes to dating. Frustrated with the stories she is hearing from her friends, Olivia sets out to teach Noah the finer art of courtship.
While working with Noah to better his courtship skills, Olivia keeps busy taking care of her elderly grandparents. Somehow Noah ends up being the one to come to the rescue just when Olivia and her grandparents need him. As the two continue with the courtship skills, Noah realizes his feelings for Olivia are changing from annoyance to a sweet friendship but is fearful of going further in the relationship. Besides, Olivia has her hands full taking care of her grandparents, asking her to allow him to officially court her might be more change than she is willing to undertake.
Change can be good, right?
Highly recommended.

Such a sweet romance!
The hero and heroine of A Perfect Amish Match are close to approaching the “too old” threshold–both are in their late 20s–and each is somewhat unconventional in other ways. Noah doesn’t want to be a farmer–working as an auctioneer is his true passion. He’s had some bad experiences dating, and has decided that he’s perfectly happy as a bachelor, despite his family’s wishes. Olivia Mae still wants to marry and have children, but she knows that caring for her grandparents, who shouldn’t be left alone for too long at a time, is her #1 priority. She’s wary of asking for too much help from the community–she doesn’t like to take more than she can give, and believes that matchmaking services and knitting are the only real contributions she can offer–so no one really knows what difficulties she’s dealing with at home.
After a somewhat unconventional meeting, Noah and Olivia start a friendship (peppered with lots of really bad sheep-themed jokes) that, along with two disastrous dates, soon has Noah asking Olivia Mae for dating “lessons.” Though you can probably guess where this is going to end up, observing the journey these two go on to get there is immensely satisfying, and the ending is absolutely delightful.
Though this is the third in the Indiana Amish Brides series, it would work just fine as a standalone.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Oh my goodness. What a sweet, fun book. Author Vanetta Chapman gives us a tale of an Amish matchmaker who is single herself. You can imagine where this story is going and I promise you won’t be disappointed.
While this book was fun and a quick read, Chapman does address the topic of Alzheimer’s and failing health in loved ones. Olivia Mae is so kind and caring of her grandparents, even sacrificially so. Along comes poor Noah who doesn’t have a clue about women. I seriously loved these characters.
If you enjoy Amish fiction then grab this one. I highly recommend it!
I received a complimentary copy of this book but was not required to leave a review.
Olivia Mae Miller’s stereotypical description of a matchmaker: “Old, maybe. Using a cane. Peering at you over my glasses and shaking my knitting needles at you.”
In reality this description does not even remotely describe Olivia Mae. Old? Glasses? A cane? Not at all. Olivia Mae is young, pretty, and never been married. Yet, she’s known in her community as a very successful “matchmaker.” And she’s also her grandparents’ caretaker. Although being their caretaker doesn’t affect her matchmaking skills, it constantly keeps challenges coming her way.
Enter Noah Graber. Noah insists he’s “happily single” and that has no need for a matchmaker. However, pressure from his family places him dead center in need of Olivia Mae’s matchmaking skills.
What happens next takes these two on a humorous, challenging, faith filled, romantic adventure that had me continually laughing and smiling (especially at Noah’s jokes) up to the very end.
All in all, I found A Perfect Amish Match to be a thoroughly entertaining sweet, funny inspirational romance. So, if this sounds like your kind of story, I highly recommend that you check it out. And if it’s not your kind of story, check it out anyway. You will be pleasantly surprised.
I was given a copy of this book. All comments and opinions are my own.
As soon as I realized Olivia Mae was caring for her grandparents who are experiencing mental deficiencies due to age my heart was lost. Her unconditional love is something I think we all strive for. We could all learn a thing or two about patience and being kinder from Olivia Mae. Noah is no slouch either.
A Perfect Amish Match is a book I will revisit again and again. I usually gobble up Love Inspired and Vannetta Chapman books in 24 hours of starting them. I purposely made myself take it slower with this book and I’m so glad I did.
A Perfect Amish Match is the perfect book for the teenage girl in your life. Clean romance, clean language throughout. It would also make the perfect Easter or Mother’s Day gift for the women in your life.
I received a complimentary copy from the author. Any and all opinions expressed in the above review are entirely my own.
I just finished this quick read that kept my attention and had me page turning, and at times laughing out loud.
I could just picture that picnic that Noah takes his date on, and wait until he presents the horse blanket, he is sure a klutz when it comes to women and doing the wrong thing!
While we get to enjoy Noah’s dating, my heart was breaking for Olivia Mae and her grandparents, and what they are dealing with and wanting the best for them.
Sometimes we can’t see what is right before our eyes, but when I learned of Noah’s past, I was hoping it wouldn’t repeat itself.
A sweet read that made me wish I could linger longer with!
I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Harlequin, and was not required to give a positive review.
A Perfect Amish Match was such an enjoyable read. There were some serious topics covered, including caring for someone suffering from Altzheimer’s symptoms. The love that Olivia Mae showed for her grandparents spoke highly of her character and endeared her to me.
There were plenty of humorous moments in this novel, as well. That Noah! From his corny sheep jokes to the two dating disasters in the story, he had me cringing at times! But, it was oh so funny to read about!
And, finally, the romance between Olivia Mae and Noah was just right. It felt very natural and plausible. I liked this story from start to finish and even though it is book three in a series, it can be read as a stand alone novel.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
Vannetta Chapman never fails to draw readers into her stories. A Perfect Amish Match brought matchmaker Olivia Mae Miller story to life. She dedicated her life to caring for her aging grandparents that resulted in some sad situations but Olivia was determined to fulfill her obligation despite her brothers’ request to move to Maine. She was the matchmaker in Goshen but the dates she arranged for Noah Graber proved disastrous for her friends. Noah’s presence at the Miller’s home during a storm brought a new dimension to Noah’s behavior by stepping in to assist with repairs. I loved this story with the older hero and heroine along with Rachel and Abe, the grandparents. There were moments of sadness to happiness along with smiles, tears and laughter. Vannetta Chapman never fails to disappoint in a touching story with characters that are friends after closing the book and wondering how they are doing in days ahead.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. I was not required to write a positive review but have expressed my sincere thoughts. I look forward to reading more books by Chapman as they are released.
A Perfect Amish Match ( Indiana Amish Brides #3 )
By: Vannetta Chapman
A Perfect Amish Match is book three in Indiana Amish Brides series. These can be read as a stand alone. This is a heartwarming Inspirational romance by Vannetta Chapman. I believe I have read about all of her books and I have not found any that I did not love. She makes her books come alive. I was drawn in at the start and could not put it down. I was not disappointed. I fell in love with the two main characters Olivia and Noah. Olivia is an Amish match maker and a good one. Noah is an auctioneer and a confirmed bachelor. Both have had bad relationships in the past. There were times when I caught myself laughing and other times I had tears in my eyes. Is there a perfect Amish match out there for Noah? What about Olivia? I absolutely loved , loved , A Perfect Amish Match.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book, but was not told that I had to give a positive review. All opinions are my own.
I read my first book by Vannetta Chapmen about the time I started book blogging. It was a holiday Amish romance and from then on , she was one of my favorite authors of this genre. She’s written many books since then but A Perfect Amish Match is just as beautiful as the one I read all those years ago.
This book is perfect because of the two characters, Olivia Mae and Noah. There story is full of laughter and tears, well, really, life. They both feel so very real. Olivia is a matchmaker, who has had issues with relationships herself but can make them for others and Noah is just about done with trying to find a woman, which is why he needs Olivia to help him learn how to court, except he finds himself needing Olivia.
I identified with Olivia Mae so very much. In fact, at times it was painful. She was taking care of her grandparents who had health issues, and I was remembering taking care of my grandmother and parents, with trouble with finances and a house that seems to want to crumble and a sibling that thought they might be better elsewhere.
I loved her dedication to her family and to her friends in finding love for them.
Then there is Noah. He’s precious in his fumbling in the dating world. His missteps are heartbreaking at times and the will endear him more to each reader.
I love how they evolve from friends to something more, even though life seems to be conspiring against them.
This was a sweet and wonderful love story. Vannetta Chapman is one of the best when it comes to Amish fiction.
This was a great book. It was funny, a bit sad, very happy, basically all the feels, right? I loved the very last sentence in the book, but you will have to read it to find out about that. That statement was really true and was a perfect wrap-up for the whole book!
I love matchmaker stories and this one was perfect. Poor Olivia Mae had a lot on her plate besides her matchmaking. I loved the caring characters in the story. They were definitely real and cared about one another. Many of the events have been parts of my life and that helps to remember that you aren’t alone. There are others there to help if we let them. A very read-worthy book you won’t want to miss!
