Praise for Anne Kelleher and “A Once and Future Love”…
“What a fascinating book! Ms. Kelleher has taken time travel to a new level. Packed with energy and intrigue, this is one not to miss! The time period is cleverly brought to life, and the author does a credible job of handling various historical elements.”
—Amy Wilson, Literary Times
A SUPERB MEDIEVAL ROMANCE WITH A TIME TRAVEL TWIST
“A Once and Future Love is a passionate time travel romance that is based on a love that flows forever. Both incarnations of Richard are fabulously drawn, but especially intriguing is the modern day soul coping with the loss of a loved one. Kelleher’s novel [is] a spectacular Medieval romance with a time traveling twist.”

“All lovers of time travel should look to acquire this book for their keeper shelves! Superb read!”
“Full of visceral detail, this book almost made me wish I could step in an English castle and vanish into the past.”
“This is probably one of the best time-travels I’ve ever read. It’s rich with history, and the characters are completely believable. I thought the author did a particularly great job with the hero—I could really fall in love with him!”more
A fantastic time travel book. Was recommended to me and wasn’t sure if I’d like it but it’s amazing. Realistic characters and well researched history. Happy ending too!
Enjoyable to read.
Richard is in a different body a different time makes wonderful change in many lives.
It was very entertaining and a great story.
Wonderful read.
Great book highly recommend
It took me a while to get into this one but ultimately I enjoyed it.
I loved the premise of this book. Very romantic.
Not the ordinary time travel. Loved the concept and the story line. Most time travels are from the female point of view but this was male. Great story and I loved the ending.
Absolutely loved it.
This is an exceptional time travel romance. It uses the concept of reincarnation, of dying in one body and waking up in another. The depiction of medieval life and the fascinating characters add to the endearing love story.
Fun book to read.
I enjoyed this Scottish time-travel romance. It was predictable, but a good story none the less.
I tend to avoid time travel after the Outlander series. I tend to compare. This one was different. I did like that it was from the perspective of the guy. It was romantic and interesting.
I actually read all three of the books in this series. The story line was original and entertaining. I was happy to see that the problems of the main characters were neatly resolved.
Fast read, good characters, good for a lazy day.
I really liked the protagonist in this book – it’s a timeslip with Richard falling into the body of one of his earlier Medieval relatives (who was also Richard). The body swap is nicely dealt with, and the ending will break your heart with its sweetness.
But the best part was Richard struggling to learn how to speak/behave and then laying his own much nicer personality over the old, mean Richard.
If you’re looking for a not-too-heavy on the history, not-too-heavy on the sex scenes, romantic love story, this is for you.
The time travelers genre is getting pretty crowded and I find most of it to be drek. So, A Once and Future Love was a very pleasant surprise. The characters are engaging and intelligent, the plot is entertaining and moves at a good pace and the book is well written.
It’s fun to have a man go back in time for a change.
It was an interesting premise and I did like the hero. However the majority of the book was spent on the political and historical events (which were interesting – don’t get me wrong) rather then the relationship between the hero and heroine. So for me other than the fact she looked like his dead wife from the future I didn’t really feel the epic love that was suggested in the book’s description.
