Courtney:I can’t take another year of babysitting nieces and nephews while everyone else celebrates the holidays together when I want my own family so badly. Watching my bad boy baby brother propose to his girlfriend at our family Christmas dinner is the final straw. I don’t know how I’m going to do it, but this is the last holiday season I do alone. My first resolution for the new year? Find a … new year? Find a husband!
Blake:
Spending holidays with my family and seeing everyone else married and having kids is killing me.
It’s not fair, I’ve been looking for something real of my own too. I want a family, a good woman to give my mom and dad some more grandkids to spoil. Someone I can share my life with and grow old with and spoil grandkids of our own with someday.
I’m making my first new year resolution right now– I’m getting married.
When Blake and Courtney both find themselves suffering through another year of family holidays alone while they watch their married relatives living happily ever after around them, they each resolve to be married by the end of the new year.
Once their search for the right person leads them to modern match-maker, Raven Swann, it’s only a matter of time till they meet each other but will they manage to fulfill their new year’s resolutions before the calendar runs out?

I don’t know why but this one felt different to me then the other matchmaker ones. I really loved it. Somehow it felt more like a stand-alone. Non of this bad, Courtney and Blake are amazing together. I loved that it did take a minute to get there and some trial not instant.
Every time I come back to this series after having a break from it, I forget how enjoyable and funny these stories are. I loved Blake and Courtney’s friends and families. They’re such wonderfully quirky characters, they regularly ran away with the story. And the chemistry between our leading couple was so entertaining to watch in action – especially seeing the first impressions they have of each other. I adore this series and never want to see it end.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
ARC review For honest review Blake wants a family of his own . Courtney is going to be a mail order bride through raven swan so when their three choice to pick their mates choice this becomes a beautiful story of love.
I love this author’s match-maker stories and her latest installment is right inline with the other books in series. This is a quick read but it doesn’t take away from offering a great cast of characters and a new couple on their way to the alter.
This is the pairing of Blake and Courtney. With everyone around them getting hitched and having kids, they are feeling the ache of solitude and want a family of their own. Through the typical multi-month Raven Swann match-making process, we get a chance to know each of the characters, both the main characters and their supporting “team” of friends and family who are helping find their perfect match. Finally, midway into the story, the pair meets. And the sparks are instant.
As with the other stories in this series, aside from the on-page heated scenes, I wanted the couple to have more time together, on page, while they built their relationship. We get the chance to see them interact with one family, but I wanted to see the interaction with both. And I absolutely loved the scene (and its purpose) between Blake and Courtney’s father.
In the end, this is another fun addition to this great series (each book can be read as a standalone). It’s a feel good, super fast-paced read with a lot of steam and a strong focus on family.
/I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher. This did not affect my opinion of the book or content of my review./
YAY!!!! I’ve been waiting patiently for another Raven Swan match and this book was worth the wait. I love the no drama between the couples, insta-love and steamy scenes that are hot hot hot. I also liked the humour, the banter was spot on and I fell in love with Blake right away because of the way he was with his nephew and all the young kids. I couldn’t stop laughing with the bet with his young cousin and the ice and I felt like I was right there watching from the sidelines.
The story flowed beautifully, all the characters were amazing and I can’t wait for the next one !

A 4.5 Star Review on another Rocklyn Ryder Success
I love Rocklyn Ryder’s Raven Swan matchmaker romances and this is no exception. Courtney and Blake are both facing the same challenges with their friends and family members getting married and having children while they are still unattached. They face each face criticism and teasing as they chose a matchmaker to find “The One” for them. The fact that books in this series are such feel good reads, keeps me anxiously awaiting their release. I breezed through this book eager to read whether Courtney and Blake get their HEA. I loved the storyline, the H and h, and the secondary characters but felt the last few chapters lagged a bit.
This is a voluntary review on an ARC Book.
Marriage Match Maker MUST READ by Rocklyn Ryder!
Courtney and Blake are each determined to get married that year. They both hire the same marriage matchmaker.
Strangely they aren’t the first choice for either a team. When they meet they are very well suited. A sweet and relaxing read. Realistic with lol moments and a hea.
Book 12 in the Modern Match Maker series. Can be read and enjoyed as stand-alone. Each book has Raven Swann’s modern day arranged marriages service setting up a different couple. Told in dual POV with HEA. I love these books! Short and sweet with a little steamy! Even though these stories are short they aren’t rushed.
I really do LOVE everything about this arranged marriage series!
This one started with a bit of a twist. It took a minute for the friends and family to get on board. After one failed attempt the teams get a surprise when they meet Blake. He’s perfect for Courtney. When they meet sparks fly. Their chemistry is pretty hot and steamy.
Maybe Raven Swann really does know what she’s doing after all!
“I voluntarily received this arc book for an honest review”
Sooo excited to get back to the marriage match maker books! Blake and Courtney both wanted the same things and in the same timeline. They were both so likeable and sincere, and even their families were a good match, which actually is super important. This was sweet and HOTT, the connection was so there. I liked that their process was not perfectly smooth, and there was almost the chance they’d never even meet! This is a great, feel good love story you could read in a day.
