A New Leash on Love is a lovely, sweet romance with a HEA. Luke owns the local Juice Bar but he is overwhelmed by concerns for his sick dog.
When Hannah arrived in True Love it was only for a couple of weeks to help her cousin get her new animal sanctuary up and running. The town’s reputation for matching couples that never leave is a complete joke to her. But is it true?
This book has great characters, both human and animal. There is a gentle humour running through it that is charming and the animals are a delight. True Love is a great little town and this book although it can be read as a stand alone, has nicely set up the next romance to be in this delightful new series from Eliza Boyd. I loved this book and I definitely recommend it, you will not be disappointed.
I read the book where this story has an introduction to. I could not wait to read this one and it did not disappoint. I look forward to more from True Love, Arizona. Great story telling. Great relate-able characters. And a fun read!

Luke doesn’t make a very good impression on Hannah but he does on his mysterious texting lady.
I received an ARC of this book from the author, Eliza Boyd, and this is my voluntary and honest review. I loved this clean romance between Hannah and Luke in the small town of True Love, Arizona. The characters, both human and animals, were great. This is a great start to this new series and I look forward to the next book in this series.
A great funny small town romance. This sweet engaging read was well written with a couple surprises, loveable animals, mystery texting, and great characters. Truly entertaining as these two hurting distrustful people fumble their way thru finding true love during coincidental circumstances with a wrong number and fate. I voluntarily reviewed this well developed ARC.
I sympathized with Luke worrying about his dog Ralph’s health to the point of where it was affecting his job because I was the same when my dog was serious ill. He was rude to Hannah when she came into the Main Squeeze looking for a healthy option, but she was rude right back when he later apologized. I love that they connected as unknowns through text messages without those bad first impressions to cloud their judgments. Luke’s dog Ralph was so sweet, in love with Stella the cow at Brooke’s animal sanctuary. It sounds look Brooke has found her true calling and I can’t wait to read her romance.
The first book in the True Love Animal Sanctuary series and I want to read the next book. A well written story with a great storyline and a book I was not putting down until I had finished it. Hannah Lockhart goes to True Love, Arizona to help her cousin out at her new animal sanctuary. She meets Luke Steiner at the local juice bar and their meeting does not get off to a great start. But a wrong number text bring these two together. I enjoyed reading how these two get their happy ending. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Hannah comes to True Love on vacation to help her cousin open an animal sanctuary. She’s itching to head home – small town life’s not for her. Luke has a juice bar, and a sick dog. He’s having a bad day, and takes it out on Hannah. She sends a text to Sylvia to ask about local hiking trails, but she has the wrong number, and ends up being text friends with a random text guy. Turns out it’s actually Luke, and he thinks that she may be the mystery woman he’s been texting. He’s been volunteering at the sanctuary, and they’ve called a truce, and there’s an actual date. She begins to think of True Love as home. And how life would be if she stayed. She’s even got pro-con list going. This was a great book – so enjoyable and easy to read. The characters started out not liking each other, so it was a pleasure to watch their relationship develop. Looking forward to more books in this series.

Hannah is visiting in True Love, known for matching couples with their soulmate, to help her cousin building up an animal sanctuary.
As a vegetarian and health conscious she wants to try the juice bar, but is put off by the owner being unfriendly. Luke, said owner, is worried about his dog, who is seriously sick and has no patience for customers. But after the rocky start they hit it off quite well.
A funny story, well-written and entertaining. It does not inspire awe, but describes a fairly easy going love story without too many hiccups, but still has one or two small surprises.

They started out on the wrong foot but can innocent text messages lighten the mood between them or tear them further apart. Hannah is in town to help out her cousin when she runs into Luke. His disposition only adds to her reasoning to get back home. Is there hope of these two working out their disagreements for a happily ever after? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
This nice, clean romance had a well written storyline and characters that were very likable, believable and so engaging that I read this book in one sitting!
Luke & Hannah get off on the wrong foot when their first encounter is not pleasant. They start texting each other not realizing who they are texting. Interesting how they finally resolve that situation & realize they are nice people & can enjoy each other. I received an arc. This is my honest, voluntary review.
Gosh, I love True Love but it seems people have problems communicating lol. I love that Hannah and Luke had that instant connection the minute they locked eyes, but boy did it take them forever to come to the conclusion that they were meant to me. It’s a slow burn but it’s nice to see what they had been through and their thinking as to why they thought the relationship couldn’t work. I like that this was different in that they got to know each other through text without knowing at first who the other was. It was a good way for them to not have that pressure. I can’t wait to see more from True Love and to see how Brooke and Kyle get their own happy ending.

This was a really sweet book that I enjoyed. It had moments that made me smile, moments that made me mad, and at the end finally had moments that gave me heart twinges.
Written as a 3rd person , multi pov, with a HFN ending. Strong story line. I will admit, at a time or two, I did think the concept was a little hokey, but I still found it enjoyable. Good characters that I was able to fall “into like with.” Dialogue was engaging and the descriptions to detail were easy to visualize.
All in all, a good read.

A New Leash on Love is an exciting start to a spin-off series in True Love, AZ. I was not ready to leave True Love so I am delighted to have more books set there. Brooke has opened her animal sanctuary and persuades her cousin Hannah to come help with the finishing touches. I loved all the four legged characters in this book. This is a clever story where Hannah meets Luke on a day Luke is rude because he is so concerned about his dog. Then Hannah is told to text Sylvia for advice on hiking trails. But she is given Luke’s number instead. So she is flirting with Text message Guy and fighting her attraction to the rude guy. That’s way more plot than I wanted to discuss. The is a sweet, clean, small town romance with great characters who have past issues to work through. This book grabbed my interest in the first chapter. Then I had to finish it immediately!
Hannah has entered a town that is bringing out her inner skeptic. A town named True Love with a legend to match its name is just asking for her to look for its flaws, in order to prove the legend wrong. Her cousin, Brooke, assures Hannah that she has a “feeling” about the magic of the town.
Then she meets a man named “Luke” (whose initial description reminded me of another “Luke” 😉 from Stars Hollow), and she is immediately drawn to him. But he is extremely rude!
Can these two fall under the spell of this special town as they work together at Brooke’s animal rehab center? After lots of flirting and perfect moments, will Hannah find out what there is to love about the town of True Love?
I enjoyed this story of self-discovery, love, and the bravery to look past your own mistakes and the mistakes of those you love!

A New Leash on Love is a sweet, squeaky clean, small-town romance. It should be made into a Hallmark movie. Loved the mystery texting part, how Hannah changed her attitude about True Love, Arizona, and the way Brooke was so helpful at giving Hannah sound advice. I think my favorite was the whole idea behind Brooke’s Animal Sanctuary. I strongly recommend A New Leash on Love by Eliza Boyd.
Loved the characters in this story, both the two legged and four-legged ones.
I can’t wait for more in this series.
I loved the main characters in this story by Eliza Boyd. Luke’s concern for his dog makes him a bit grumpy and preoccupied at the beginning, yet he still makes time for his fellow townspeople. It gets his relationship with Hannah off to a rough start. Yet Hannah is not without her flaws. She comes to town to help her cousin Brooke set up her animal sanctuary, but Hannah has a chip on her shoulder about the town of True Love being too small since it doesn’t have a Target or Whole Foods nearby.
Their readiness to apologize to one another when appropriate helps both Luke and Hannah become more likable to each other and to me. I loved the fact that they were willing to humble themselves and be real. I particularly enjoyed their texting anonymously due to the mistaken identity and the friendship they developed which made each of them suspect the other’s true identity and personality.
This was a fun story with well developed characters and several lovable animals thrown in. The romance develops organically and realistically. I definitely recommend this book.
