Angel Perez had a second chance at a new beginning. After the death of her Aunt Rosie, Angel followed the instructions of her aunt and packed up only a few of her belongings and headed to Florida. After moving into her Aunt Rosie’s small cottage on Siesta Key Beach, she was quickly adjusting to her new life.
After finding a job at an insurance company, Angel became friends with the two owners, … two owners, Sara Roberts and Brea Kinsley. Sara and Brea made it their mission to fix Angel up on a blind date with their very handsome and single friend Mason Myles.
Afraid that her past would catch up with her, Angel lived a very private life. When she met the tall, dark, and handsome Dr. Mason Myles, she knew she wouldn’t be able to resist him. He swept her off her feet with his sexy, dimpled smile and charm.
Living on the run from a very abusive boyfriend, Jim Davis, Angel lived in fear that Jim would somehow find her. After she revealed her abusive past and fears to Mason, Mason vowed to protect her.

I really appreciated the tone of the story the agony a doctor feels when life is out of control. The desperate need for all to be safe when you’re not sure how to make it z0.
I liked it but I do not like that it is in 3 separate books. I’m still waiting for barnes and noble to release the last 2 books.
Enjoyed story line
This was a page-turner, and was so good. The reason for the 4 star rating is the lack of steamy scenes in the first book. But it really was so good I had to get the next book in the series!
You have to buy the next book to find out what happens.
I bought the following 2 to finish the story.
Good reading.
I loved it, just wish I didn’t have to buy another
Book to see how the story ended.
Wish the story was finished in 1 book. Not sure it was necessary to continue to book 2 and then book 3. When I finish book 2 I will have a better opinion of how necessary it was to drag the story out in 3 books.
The story was good, but the book ended abruptly; almost as if it is missing the last few chapters. I notice that it is a trilogy, but virtually every book I have read in a trilogy had a standalone ending. This one did not. I would not have read it if I had known how it would end, in my opinion, mid-story.
Absolutely loved it!
Overly detailed, Its a trilogy that could be one good book. Predictable.
This book could have been written in half the pages. She kept describing things over and over, I think just to make the book longer. I won’t read her books again. She had a good story line but she went over things over and over. I was disappointed.
Enjoyed the book until the end which totally left the reader hanging. Did not like the ending at all.
I enjoyed reading the book, but was disappointed because the story continues in another book.
I hated the ending. It just stops at a critical point. To finish the book you have to buy the next book for 8.99. I do believe I will not read anymore of her books. I really liked it up to the last page and then it leaves you hanging.
Enjoyed the book
The detailed narrative slowed the story and impacted readers immersion in the emotions of the characters.
Ended with a cliffhanger and now I have to read the next book in the series to see what happened to Angel.
A book that shows how true love is suppose to be and how sometimes it s twisted
Brenda never disappoints!
Another great, heartwarming story, that depicts what a lot of women are facing today in real life.
I cannot wait to read the second part of the trilogy.
I would recommend this book to anyone who who believes in new beginnings.
