Really enjoyed this book. Kept your interest from very beginning.
What one man does to protect the children left in his care is amazing. Very good read
Loved it
Excellent, makes you reakize life can change quickly. But it usually works out ok.
When one of the main characters dies in the first few chapters you know it will be an unpredictable story. Loved the characters!
Liked the ending
A definite page turner but it took a few chapters into the book for that’s one happen for me. I thought the ending was wrapped up a little too neatly and quickly. BUT Just before the ending was a REAL
page turner.
A fun little read.
VERY GOOD!
I actually loved it. There are still some good men in this world.
I enjoyed this book so much What a wonderful human being- with all the horrible things that happen to innocent children the male character fought to the end to give them love and a home to feel safe ” loved this book”
First book I have read by Ms. Raney and now I want to read every single one! Great story line and development of characters. Suspense building along with unpredictability – right up to the end! Well done!
It was about humans being good at what they are supposed to do, caring for others and keeping goals.
Deborah has been one of my favourite authors for a long time and this one proves again why I love her writing.
One of the best books I have ever read. It truly touches the heart.
Broken hearts can be mended. Families built.
I picked this book up right when a friend was going through a custody battle with his children. This story gave insights about how to understand what was going on, and how to pray. Sweet story, and timely.
DIFFERENT! SPOILER ALERT! Not your typical “girl meets boy” romance – this was an interesting story about a man who found himself fighting to gain custody of his fiancee’s children after she passed away suddenly. I felt the frustration along with the characters as they navigate the “system” of family services/child protective services.
Enjoyed
Excellent read; I couldn’t put it down. This book is a touching look into the world of custody and foster care, and what really makes a parent.
