A powerful novel of loss and discovery, courage and grace, A Nest of Sparrows masterfully illustrates one man’s struggle to know when to fight, when to let go, and when to simply wait.

The author did an incredible job using your emotions to guide you through this story.
I’ve long been a fan of Deborah Raney’s novels, but this one is my favorite so far. Heart-wrenching and hopeful with realistic characters that step off the pages right into your soul.
I loved this tender story of loss and love about a fiance’s unwavering fight to keep the three children of Starr, his fiance, who died suddenly. A beautiful portrait of sacrificial love with characters who are flawed and real. Raney keeps the tension high right until the end.

I enjoy this author and this is another of her well-written stories. The characters face real problems but deal with them with love and grace.
Fast read good for a rainy day.
I enjoyed this story of a man desperate to adopt his recently deceased fiance’s children. The struggles he endured through working with social services and the foster care system were true to life and near to my heart.
Great clean story , loved it . What to read more by Deborah Raney

Heartbreaking and so full of sadness, but does have a happy ending. I loved it.
it’s a beautiful realistic story . Nothing to not like!
A good read, although the ending is a bit pat and predictable.
It was a heart rendering story of love of a man that adopted children of a loved one
Loved those kids and wanted to take them myself! A great book of love and effects of love!
Raney is a good writer. You don’t see gaps, errors or illogical leaps that lesser writers exhibit.
Comes at family from a different perspective.
this book was a very good read although it was sad at times, unpredictable ending but shows that persistence and faith in God, the only way you can live day to day without giving up brings blessings. once I got started reading it I didn’t want to stop.
A few editing errors. Original story.
