My name is Karma…and yes, it’s my job too.Since I was eighteen, I have used my powers to deliver karma to those in need like my other family does. Only they are much better at it. I deliver much needed karma to both good and bad humans, but mainly the bad as it’s more fun. The only rule of the job? Don’t talk to the other gods, especially not the powerful ones, and definitely don’t accidentally … powerful ones, and definitely don’t accidentally kill one of them… Whoops.
Now the twin gods of justice are after me, and not even my family can save me now.
If I’m caught, it will be a one-way ticket pass to the gods’ correctional prison. It’s a place where more than mere gods are locked up and no one ever escapes.
Even gods can’t escape their fate…but they sure can try to run.

Karma rocks – she is a little klutzy, a lot fierce, with attitude. Kit is awesome, and the guys are each unique. Karma is a Karma goddess and seems to have bad luck in making her Karma work. I like the family dynamics and the world Bailey has created. I’m looking forward to book 2 🙂
Bailey has so outdone herself with this new series!!! Karma is fantastic and that is before we start learning all of her secrets. Incredible writing that creates a new world you will never want to leave. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
G. Bailey did it again! I literally read this in a couple of hours-I could not stop! I love Karma and the MC lol Karma and the guys and of course Kit! Michael the goat! Haha. The ending though..whoa! I’m excited to read book 2!
A Name Like Karma is book one from this new series from the author. Like the title suggests, the story revolves around Karma, our sassy, funny and has the worst luck considering she got a lot of charms. She is a karma goddess and dealt good and bad karma to those who deserves it. After accidentally killing a higher god which is impossible (I told you, worst luck ever) she tried to run away from the twin gods of justice while desperately thinking of a way to prove her innocence.
I loved that the author tried to shine a light to obscure and not so tackled characters like Karma. She made the character likeable and the whole story in a light, fun way (I usually associated karma in a bad way so this story is interesting and a welcome surprise). There is action, totally hilarious moment (that involves a talking goat and a biting goblin. Yes, you heard that right), and delicious, intense moments with the men. Thoroughly enjoyed reading it and I can’t wait for the next book!
what goes around comes around!
Karma Karma Karma!! ah! so good! great new series and humor at its best! love the characters and the introduction. Her name is Karma and obviously she brings justice. But little does she know shes more than that. Sexy gods and beautiful friendships! Let the justice begin! ps. i love michael. her talking goat. enough said. must read!!! #Storm is one sexy god#dibs

Gem sure does have this magical way looping you into her books and leaves you wanting more with your jaw dropped open. This was such a refreshing take on a book and I instantly fell in love with Karma and her men.
Karma has this take it as it is attitude and speaks what is on her mind. I love how she is a strong character and knows what she wants. She also has the worst luck which is how she ends up locked up with Storm, Seth, and Killian. Man I would love to be locked up with these 3 men as well! Each has very different personalities but all have their own sexiness about them. Storm is currently my favorite. I love his alpha, take charge attitude.
THAT ENDING…. WHAT!??!?!!!! I really cannot wait to read the next book in the series.
I was very excited for this book and I can’t wait for the next one. I have so many questions! I love Kit that little rascal. I’m also intrigued to see how the men will work out their relationship with Karma. I love reading about possessive, ‘she’s mine’ men realize that they have to share because the woman is #whychoose it’s great and every author has a different take and I can’t wait to read what Karma’s take will be. I also have so many questions about Karma herself. I like Storm but once again the twins steal my heart and whisk me away. I will reading the next book!
Overall: 4/5
A Name Like Karma is the first book in an interesting series by G. Bailey. Karma is exactly what her name suggests, a karma goddess whose job it is to bring karma to those that deserve it. However, she isn’t too good at her job and often needs to be rescued herself. When a job goes terribly wrong, Karma finds herself being hunted by the twin gods of justice and she, and them, find themselves in a place they did not expect. I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. It took me a bit to get into it, but once I did, I enjoyed the story and characters very much. I am curious to see where the next book takes these characters.
There are 3 ranking systems when it comes to reading G. Bailey’s addictive books: love, flove, & love, love. Guess where I’m ranking this treasure, A Name Like Karma, ( please & que star eyes) flove, love this book.
I’m not going to put any spoilers in here, so you just have to pick this baby up, read, & review for yourself. Except that Karma is the MC with a pet sidekick (erm…more or less), after reading this you will flove, love every character. (Not gonna lie the shiny, pretty cover & blurb are what got me.)
I’m patiently unpatiently waiting for book 2, A Name Like Justice, because not only of the cliffhanger but I’m hooked on Karma.
(I received this as an ARC for a honest review.)
Oooooh, A Name Like Karma is my favorite book of G Bailey’s by far! I think this book hit all my wants in a book and flowed really well. I started it on my flight home from a work conference and for once was sad that I was home because I had to put it down haha. I loved everything about it and cannot wait for Book 2, June is so freakin far away!!
I have been following G Bailey for awhile now and I think this book shows her growth as an author while still keeping true to herself. I felt like she gave us more details and expanded on feelings that some of her other books sorta skip over sometimes. This one made me fall for all the characters, even Kit haha. I liked how the relationships developed and need more…like RIGHT NOW! I especially loved Karma, I would totally want to be her friend if she was real haha. I loved the guys and yeah, they each fall into normal RH tropes but I loved how G Bailey started off this series with them and how they weren’t all harmonious from the beginning. I can’t wait for the guys and Karma to be reunited for her to step it up with Storm, Killian, and Seth (they are gonna be explosive but super sensual…I can totally feel it haha). I hope Karma’s brother and Mads get together and they have their own spinoff, that would be rad!
I absolutely loved this series and highly recommend it! The charms, powers, and world G Bailey created is so vivid and amazing, I couldn’t get enough. I loved the concept of an Irish Karma Goddess who uses charms. So unique and fresh, loved it so much. I could keep gushing about this story, but I will save it for Book 2 when it comes out in June. You won’t be let down if you pick up this book. Just know you will have a hangover after because its so good
