The moment he realized she was in serious danger…he couldn’t protect her.At forty-five years old, Navy Captain Micah Reid had never married, for good reason…no woman in her right mind would put up with him, and he wouldn’t tolerate the crazy ones. The secretive nature of his job as a commanding officer of thousands of SEALs working covertly around the world didn’t help relationships either. With … relationships either. With a new job at the Pentagon, he vowed to spend his free time with his friends living in DC and helping them solve the murders of Gabriel and Marsha Davis — whose deaths lead to greater mysteries.
Berit Barker had earned every step of her way up the CIA ladder, no matter what the rumors claimed. She had worked twice as hard and three times as smart as her male counterparts while undercover in Third World countries, with the extra challenge of being a single mother. When asked to infiltrate a tight group of military friends in the DC area, she agrees, but only to find the true terrorists.
Friendship and lies never mix well, but love and deception can be deadly.
A Moment Never Forgotten is the third book in the seasoned military romance Never Forgotten trilogy but is a standalone romantic suspense. This Navy SEAL romance features another of KaLyn Cooper’s strong heroines.
Buy this book today if you enjoy military romance, alpha silver foxes, and heroines who shatter glass ceilings.

I’ve been waiting for this!!
So flippin’ good, a seasoned romance with a lot of action, a fantastic storyline, all great characters. It’s the third and final in this series and I loved every page. Did not want to put it down, it was the conclusion, or was it, to what happened all those years ago. A stand alone as far as having a beautiful instant attraction romance between Micah and Berit, and a little surprise that gives you an awwww! These two knew what life is about, no fancy dressings, realities. A happy ending.
The backstory is so incredible and crazy unbelievable, with a lot of action, might want to read the first two books in this series, will not be disappointed.
A recommend from me
Excellent book. Well written and very informative of todays times. Secrets revealed, danger military funerals and new older friends find love. Would recommend this book to anyone. HEA
Reading Book three of the Never Forgotten Trilogy is like holding on during a runaway train ride.
The mystery started in book 1, A Love Never Forgotten, with a Middle East mission gone terribly wrong, taking the life of a team member and leaving the survivors (Logan, Teagan, Micah, Elizabeth and eventually Matthew) struggling to make sense of what happened. Still mourning the loss of Mason.
The questions persist through each book as bits and pieces come together – How did it happen and who orchestrated the early explosion? Why were teammates still dying? How is it the newest guy has a familiarity that can not be explained?
A Moment Never Forgotten, book 3, finally puts all the puzzle pieces on the table, but putting them together is full of emotion, suspense, suspicion, surprises, love and family. Micah Reid and Berit Barker dive deep into seeking answers through their positions with the CIA. As they develop a relationship, Berit sees they are surrounded by the kind of family formed through going to hell and back together. Family that sticks together no matter how much it hurts. Family you want to make your own.
The entire trilogy is built on people and events that could come right out of today’s news with focus on anti-terrorism units. Opening the first page is like stepping through a portal that brings the reader right into the story with the characters. They become so real that stepping back out on the last page is as painful as saying goodbye.
But the goodbye can be temporary. This reader has loaded the kitchen with comfort food/drinks and a weekend is cleared to go back and read the trilogy again from start to finish.
Thank You, Kalyn Cooper, for your masterful writing, fleshed out details and characters who walk, talk, breath, swear, sweat and all that good stuff that makes them real. Any chance this could turn into a trilogy plus one?
Berit has this take charge attitude and has the experience to back it up. So when Micah comes into the picture with his alpha ways it’s a fight of wills between the two. These two are building something incredibly sweet and hot until a misunderstanding throws a wrench in that romance. That is untill someone trying to kill the other and it’s a race against time to save the love of their life. This book is absolutely amazing and Kalyn Cooper knocked ot out of the park
ARC for honest review with no compensation
A Moment Never Forgotten is book 3 in the Never Forgotten Trilogy by KaLyn Cooper and what a way to end this series. We finally get all the answers to what happened 11 years ago when a mission went belly up, how the CIA was involved, who the traitor(s) were and those left behind are they truly safe?
A well written story with lots of suspense, emotional, nail biting intrigue, some laughter, sexy times and a baby surprise!!
Intriguing mix of Loyalties, Traitors and Romance!!
This story will keep you on the edge of your seat! There is a traitor in the CIA. You will not be lost jumping into this story, but fullest enjoyment will be gained from reading the entire series.
Berit is in line to become head of the CIA. She is instructed to become closer to her group of friends to determine if one of them is a traitor. Micah in particular interests her – but as a man, not a mission.
Each character comes alive, and the story-line pulls you in to the action. Highly entertaining, and I definitely recommend.
**I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book**
This is the end of the series and all the questions are answered. Kalynn Cooper knows how to write military stories. The mystery, the action, and the jargon are all first-rate. Berit and Micah are a good match. Both are strong, intelligent, no-nonsense leaders who also have a softer side that they are not afraid to show. These are people you would want in your corner. I received this as an ARC and voluntarily give my review.
Love the concept of older (the middle 40s) people in books. Just because they have a little more age, a little more silver doesn’t make them any less sexy or alpha. This book kept me hooked from the beginning. Great series
What a perfect addition to the Never Forgotten Series! Micah and Berit’s story is just as intriguing as the previous books but with their own spin, intrigue, love, humor, friendship, drama, and just everything rolled into one. You get so caught up in their whole story and the supporting characters you can’t put it down! Hate to see this series end!
The first chapter of this book pulls you in and makes you forget that there’s a world beyond you. Berit and Micah are not only introduced, they are brought to life, and you want to know more and more about the situation and the characters. Berit’s son Mak is easily one of KaLyn Cooper’s best characters, and that’s not an easy choice to make. This is the conclusion to the trilogy, and what a conclusion it is. There are twists and turns, nothing is as it seems, and so many questions are answered … finally. Almost anything I write here is a spoiler, so I’m going to ignore the details totally and simply say that this is a worthy end to a story that disturbed and engaged me from the start of the first book, that, as always, KaLyn Cooper has written characters that I would like as friends, and that this story stays with you long after you’ve closed the book.
I received a free copy of this book, and this review is entirely voluntary.
What a great ending to this series. Not only do we finally learn who is the mole in the CIA but we also get another love story, and a surprise baby. The story is also full of suspense as the characters grow closer to the truth.
It’s great that there are authors who write stories about more seasoned characters – Micah and Berit are both in their 40s. Micah seems to be a confirmed bachelor while Berit has been so busy raising a son and working for the CIA that she hasn’t had time for a relationship. All this changes when Berit is given the mission to get to know Micah and his friends better. The progression of their relationship was believable, especially later on when Berit needs to confess her under cover work.
I also loved the surprise baby and the humorous scenes around that. This was a great series.
Kalyn Cooper does it again. Loved this book. Twist ,turns, and surprises. It kept my attention from the first page. Definitely a standalone but recommend the trilogy. Definitely one or 3 yo read
Great story. I have been looking forward to reading this story and it did not disappoint. There’s suspense and intrigue and the story is so well written that you just get caught up and can’t put it down. Micah and Berit have a connection that is tested. We finally get answers as to who is the traitor. All in all this story and this series is simply amazing and totally worth it..
This is the final book in this trilogy, the one that holds all the answers.
Berit Barker is CIA, her son Mak, is a SEAL and she has ‘adopted’ his team. As his team buries one of their own, she sheds some tears. Each one of these ‘boys’ were hers and she will always support them. Along with their Commander Evan Hubbard, there is an unexpected person at this funeral, Captain Micah Reid, Commanding Officer of Naval Special Warfare Group Two. He had been in the operations room when this team was ambushed.
Micah is in D.C. preparing for his move to a pentagon post and was attended because for a couple more weeks, these SEALs are his. He sort of recognizes Berit although he can’t quite remember where they met. It’s Berit who reminds him it was at another funeral, one where she was the liaison to the family.
Even with the sad circumstances there was much that amused me there and as this book progresses we find Berit and Micah in some very interesting situations.
Berit is also assigned to investigate Micah’s old team and the mission that ended Mason Sinclair’s life. Of the surviving members of that team only Logan and Teagan Jackson were know to her. Micah she’d met in passing but Elizabeth Saint Clare was an unknown, although she is a CIA translator, her husband Matthew also with the CIA in an assistant director position.
There are many hold your breath moments in this book, as well as some truly hilarious ones. More than a few surprises, one that revolves around Mak and his team. So much intrigue and suspense, that in all honesty I am surprised my fingernails survived to the end of the book.
Fun, emotional, scary, intriguing, suspenseful and romantic with some serious sizzle.
This is the 3rd book in the series and you won’t be disappointed you won’t want to put the book down till it’s done! Michah is moving to DC and he’s trying to solve his 2 friends deaths. He meets Berit at a funeral for a young seal and she is ordered to spy on him and his friends. Who is the traitors in the CIA? We have lots of bad guys, Seals action, suspense and romance what more could you ask for. KaLyn has another great book on her hands!
Romantic suspense, all characters in their 40s.
End of a trilogy but can be read as a standalone. Berit, a high flying career woman in the CIA and Micah, a high ranking military officer, first meet at a funeral but it is not to be their last meeting as she has been ordered to infiltrate his tight group of friends. There are moles within the CIA, no-one can be trusted including her current boss! Her old boss believes that Micah and his friends are the key to cracking the traitors identities but Berit soon becomes uncomfortable with deceiving them. An exciting read, though not without typos in my draft copy.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
What an amazing addition to this series!!!
I absolutely loved this book. This book has an overarching story from the two previous books but this one focuses on Micah and Berit.
I loved Micah in all aspects. This book did an amazing job showing us not only who Micah is as a leader but also as a man. Everything from his past missions, to how he got to know Berit to helping her with her son’s new surprise. He is a wonderful man and very easy to cheer for and want his HEA
I felt bad for Berit for most of the book. She is also a caring and dedicated woman. She has met Micah and his friends and could see become friends with them. Then her bosses step in and want her to do something that no one wants to do when starting to make friends.
The suspense from this book was out of this world. I loved reading about the different people putting the pieces together. This was one wild ride.
A Moment Never Forgotten is a spectacular military/CIA romantic suspense by KaLyn Cooper. Ms. Cooper has delivered a well-written book packed with a stellar cast of characters. Micah meets Berit at the funeral of one of his soldiers. Berit and Micah’s story is packed with drama, humor, action, sizzle and suspense. I loved this book from cover to cover and can’t wait for my next book by KaLyn Cooper. A Moment Never Forgotten is book 3 of the Never Trilogy but can be read as a standalone. I suggest reading books 1 & 2 though so you understand what’s happening better.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from Bookfunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Berit Barker is a new addition to their close-knit group, and as she and Micah Reid are getting to know each other surprising secrets are revealed which may destroy their budding personal relationship. But more importantly, treacherous liaisons will be exposed which not only threaten the lives of those within the group but the very foundation of our country. This is an exciting tale filled with plenty of dramatic action, intrigue, edge of your seat suspense and some pretty hot, steamy passion. You may be surprised by who the traitor is within the CIA, or not, but it’s a thrilling, fast-paced read that will keep you engaged from beginning to end. I highly recommend each engaging and entertaining story in this remarkable trilogy and look forward to what’s to come as the hunt for Nassar al-Jamil bridges over to the Ladies of Black Swan.
OMG I love this book and this whole series.
There are times when you will laugh so hard you will almost pee your pants. There will be times that you will be so angry that you want to scream at the book. I almost choke on my drink when I read about Berit’s son Mak explaining how it took 2 or 3 of they SEAL guys to change the baby’s diaper. The whole book you never know what is going to happen next. I almost cried when Micah blew up at Berit without truly trying to understand what she did and why but that she was trying to help them also.
