USA Today Bestselling author Claudia Burgoa presents a witty, funny & heartfelt billionaire, enemies-to-lovers romance. I hate my boss. He’s the devil in disguise—but I just can’t seem to stay away. When my employer Henry Alderidge is set to claim a large inheritance from his deceased father, he drags me along with him—because he needs his assistant. I have no choice but to move across the … have no choice but to move across the country with Satan’s bastard and stay with him for over a year in order to pay for my mother’s debts.
Henry drags me to a small town where everyone knows your business and to a family that’s more broken than close. The Alderidge brothers are handsome, arrogant, and sinful.
They’re also too much to handle.
Henry’s dad lost his mind before he died, and the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. I don’t know how I’ll survive for eighteen months with this man.
Except you should never judge a book by its cover. And Henry Alderidge has more hiding beneath the surface than I ever thought possible…
The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers series is a romantic comedy saga packed with the perfect mix of angst, tears, and laughs. If you like strong heroines & alpha males, steamy romances and witty love stories, this series is for you!

This book was so much fun to read! Henry is truly finding himself, and we learn how much of an impact his dad and grandfather’s machinations have had on his life. His saving graces are Sophia, who is his heart, and his brothers, who are slowly becoming a family. It’s not a straight line for any of them, and we get some glimpses into his fathers head towards the end of the book, but it’s a fantastic read!
I love the Aldridge Brothers, I was so looking forward to Henry and Sophia’s story.
After so many years hiding his feelings for his assistant Sophia it comes to light. They’re some obstacles in their way to prevent this relationship from blossoming but as always the family works as a team, United as one to achieve the only and goal at the moment – the happiness of Sophia and Henry.
At times the book was a little repetitive but I guess if you haven’t read book 1 it’s a good thing..
When Sophia is forced to spend eighteen months in the company of her boss, Henry Alderidge, she doesn’t think she will be able to survive, since despite hating him, she cannot stay away from him.
They go to the small town where his family lives and then the adventure begins. The chemistry between them is huge and the development of the relationship between them is perfect.
I loved the story and the characters. I highly recommend the reading.
A Moment Like You
Henry and Sophia
Oh my heart. While I was reading this book, I was transported to the town of Bakers Creek, and the Aldridge family. I lived and loved as one of them, and wished I could stay there always. That’s the sign of an exceptional author, one who creates a world that you ache to live in.
I received an ARC of this book and am leaving an honest review.
I am so glad to be back in Baker’s Creek!! And I am so glad we got Henry’s story next! I loved Sophia but wasn’t a fan of Henry’s at all going into this book! Let’s just say mind has been changed. He is very demanding but then you see all that he has done over the years for Sophia and start to see him in a little different light. Sophia is a boss with all that she is juggling and having to put up with Henry. They have a lot to overcome before they can be together and it’s not an easy road but they both deserve their HEA. I can’t wait to go back!
I love the premise of this story and how this book builds upon the first one. Henry is the typical broken alpha billionaire who has a phenomenal assistant, Sophia, who he is developing feelings for and has no idea how to deal with them. I truly loved the banter between these two and their chemistry was smoldering during the whole read. I won’t lie as it did take me a little time to fully get into this one but once I was there I was hooked!!
Truly of story of actions speak louder than words

This is my first Claudia Burgoa ARC but not my first read…
I enjoyed this book. Reminds me of a daytime soap opera that you couldn’t go without.
This is the second book of the series but can be read a standalone… it would be better to read the first book to have a first glimpse of all the characters.
It’s boss-employee romance, it’s angsty, sext and swoony.
I love that Sofia can be this strong willed, independent woman but nurturing and loving at the same time. Henry isn’t your typical j€rkwäd boss, and there are layers you need to peel before you appreciate him as a person.
Henry and Sofia definitely compliment each other.
I enjoyed the book… I wish to read more about them in the future.
This is the second book in the Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers series and has to be one of my favorite books by Claudia. She is hands down very talented and this is one her best work to date . This is the second book in the series, it’s story of six brothers who are forced to unite due circumstances after the death of their father. We were introduced to Henry in the previous book and his character was intriguing but Claudia did an exceptional job with this story and Henry & Sophie characters. From the previous book Claudia had definitely had captured my attention and with this book I am absolutely hooked to this series. I loved Henry’s character he was not what I was expecting him to be, he had so much depth to his character. I loved the chemistry between Henry and Sofía and absolutely was smitten with the Aldridge brothers and the banter n bond that was shown growing between them in this book. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
When I read book 1 in the Aldrige bros series, I was sooo anticipating Henry and Sophia’s book and here it is. Henry and Sophia work together, she is his assistant but also more than that, she is his right hand everything. She runs his life, organizes it, is usually one step ahead of him. He wouldn’t be able to survive work stuff without her, and he’s starting to realize he wouldn’t be able to survive without her on a personal level.
I enjoyed this story, you went more in depth of their story, you were able to see more of their relationship bloom together and the somewhat estranged brothers. A good additon to the series. Looking forward to the rest of the brothers.
A Momnet Like You brings us back to Bakers Creek and back to the lives of the Aldridge brothers. This book was Henry and Sofia’s story. Henry was such an a** in the first book I wasn’t sure I’d like him. Sofia is his assistant and she is a miracle worker. I adored Sofia. She was an independent woman who got stuff done and made things happen. She worked her butt off and still made time for her parents. She is definitely attracted to Henry, but thinks his personality is lacking. When he finally lets his walls down around her they find out that the have amazing chemistry together. I enjoyed getting back to Bakers Creek and checking in with our old friends. This story was very enjoyable for me to read and I think Sofia is one of my all time favorite heroines. I can’t wait to see what’s next for the Aldridge brothers and the women in their lives.
There were some things in this story that made me question the usually strong heroine and the hero. Some things just didn’t add up for me but overall, it’s a heartwarming yet dramatic read. I loved seeing all the brothers come together and be there for one another despite their differences and living with the required conditions their late father left them with. There’s a lot that happens but you get to that HEA and leaves you satisfied. I loved the first book and felt it was better but I still liked this one. I can’t wait for the next in the series! 3.5 stars.

ARC was generously given by Author. My review is given completely voluntarily! Thank you!
This was my first book by this author, and I really loved it! It grabbed my attention right from the beginning, and it kept it all the way to the end!
This is a busy book it’s about one couple, but the underlining story is really about 7 brother’s that per the father’s will all of them together must move to Baker’s Creek to live in the same house, and stay in town for 18 months including any significant others, and children, or thousands of people, the whole town will suffer the consequences! Devious father.
Henry Aldridge is the eldest of the brothers, arrogant, angry, overbearing and heir to Merkel Corporate which has hotels & spas all over the world. He is not happy about these new changes in his life. They are trying to find a lopewhole in the will, but his father did an air tight will.
He wasn’t a good dad, he was a womaniser that had 5 kids out of wedlock, a tuff man that didn’t know how to show love to anyone, including his children!
Sophia is his secretary and right hand woman! She doesn’t take any $hit from him! Their bartering is witty and the chemistry is hot! She is smart, strong and overworked. She also has to help her parents out due to her mom’s health issues!
Henry and Sophia have a hate\ love relationship.
It’s funny, steamy but it has its own serious moments that had me reaching for my tissue! It’s a complete romance novel that I truly enjoyed.
There’s definitely some twists that I didn’t see coming! I can’t wait to continue reading about this big family, and what their father keeps throwing at them from the grave!
It can be read as a standalone, but because it involves the whole family I believe it would be better if you read the first book first. No cliffhanger, and there’s a HEA .

This series is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I was anticipating Henry’s story since the first book and Claudia did not disappoint. The banter between Henry and Sophia was everything in this book. I liked the humor that was incorporated into the dialogue. If you’re as obsessed with office romances as I am, you’ll love this boss/employee story. As always, I’m left desperately wanting to read the next book. love love these brothers!
I completely adored Claudia Burgoa’s “A Moment Like You.” Main characters Henry and Sophia were both incredibly likeable and well-developed, and it was easy for me to root for them to overcome all of the obstacles keeping them apart.
When the book began, it seemed like it was going to be a fairly straightforward enemies-to-lovers romance, but Henry and Sophia’s relationship turned out to be so much more complex than that. They had both been hiding feelings for each other for some time, but didn’t act on them for a number of valid reasons. Things finally started to change between them when Henry forced Sophia to move to Baker’s Creek with him. As Henry began to open up to his brothers and work through some of his childhood trauma, he also opened up to Sophia, who started to see that there was more to him than the arrogant workaholic she had come to know so well.
The growth of Henry’s relationship with his brothers was another highlight of this book. They seemed to grow so much closer over the course of the story and even started to treat each other as friends in a lot of ways. They were certainly more supportive of each other by the end, and I loved that they were comfortable enough to tease each other (lovingly, of course!).
Overall, “A Moment Like You” was a sweet, funny, and touching story that I highly recommend for all fans of contemporary romance and romantic comedy. It was the first book I’ve ever read by Claudia Burgoa, but it certainly won’t be the last. I look forward to the next book in this series!

I knew that I’d love Henry from the moment I met him in Loved You Once. And he was much better than I expected.
I enjoyed this story so much. It gave me so many smiles and laugh-out-loud moments. And the characters share an unique, hot and swoon worthy connection.
But you must know that this is not a simple romance. It’s much more. It’s about this complicated but endearing family, and finding what really matters in life for each of them.
Once again, Claudia gives us all the feels with her beautiful and flawless writing.
A moment like you is a heart melting must read!
*I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.*
First of all, where the heck I was that this is my first book from Claudia? Gah… I loved the writing style, the story, the romance, the thing a both of them learn from each other and overcome! I’m in love and can’t wait to read more.
My only problem is that this book two in The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers series and I feel like I should have read the first book, before this one. That way I would understand a lot more and get more details of the six brothers who had to abandon their lives to move to Oregon and live together.
Henry lived in NYC and is the soul owner of the Merkel’s Hotels and Spas, he built an empire and had a rough family life. But everything changed when Sophie started to work for him as his assistant. Sophie needed to find a job who helped her take care of her sick mom. And at Merkel Hotel she found that and more.
Forced to go with him to Baker’s Creek, Sophie started to see more from Henry. And as he started to grow so much, he couldn’t hide his feelings towards her any longer. I loved how I could feel his change and learn his true colors, how he always loved Sophie and a lot of things he did was for her.
This is a very different enemies to lovers romance, because as I soon learned, they never ever truly hated each other. I loved the ending and found it amazing how good they were together. Definitely a must read.
Get ready to head back to Baker’s Creek and once again be pulled into the world of the Aldridge family whirlwind. Oh my heavens if I didn’t swoon for the Aldridge brothers before I am in love with Henry.
Sophia is Henry’s faithful assistant she is his Girl Friday. She has needed her job no matter what it has entailed even if it encompassed all her waking moments. Who knew that her billionaire boss could be so demanding. Yes he is easy on the eyes but that is it he is too over the top all the time. The last straw is having her move to a small town away from her family to help him run not only his company but the one his tyrant father has dropped on them. Henry has remained the boss who is untouchable and stoic but we soon realize that he has quite the torch for his right hand woman Sophia. We soon see that Henry is a man of many talents and when he finally realizes what and who he wants he will go to the ends of the earth to make it a reality. I loved watching this couple grow and blossom. They were a business powerhouse and also a beautiful romance in the making!
Loved it !

Back to Baker’s Creek, Oregon we go, where watching from a front row seat is guaranteed, as another Aldridge brother finds out what that crazy thing called love is all about. Henry Lloyd Merkel Aldridge is the oldest and quite possibly the most exasperating of the bunch. He’s still single and knows love isn’t in the cards for him, at least that’s his perception after a look around his own family tree! He was groomed for success as the sole heir of his grandfather’s venture- Merkel Hotels and Spas. He’s a wiz at business, a money making machine, working all hours of the day and night, expecting his long suffering, witty, beautiful and intelligent assistant, Sophia Aragon, to keep the same wicked hours. She’s usually one step ahead of him and could probably run his company better than he would!
Sophia is biding her time, honing her talents and dreaming of becoming the CEO of SOMETHING. If only she didn’t need all those financial perks that the gorgeous, arrogant, task master Henry Aldridge (check that hot cover, ladies!), aka, her demanding boss, offers. No one could or would match them, so she’s basically glued to his side, destined to anticipate his every whim for the rest of her life, or so it seems…grrrr!
The 6 remaining Aldridge men- brothers from many other mothers (a story in itself!!!), have all made the move to Baker’s Creek. Lives have been uprooted and varied careers put on hold, while jumping thru the array of hoops their cold, deceased father’s will stipulates they must do to receive their inheritance. These guys sure have their hands full, testing the boundries of compliance or the whole Aldridge owned town and businesses will go down in flames, should their valiant attempts fail! They and their ‘significant others’ have 18 months to work it all out…together! Can too much of a good thing become a bad thing? Well, it makes for some very interesting reading, that’s for sure!
As their lives become more and more intertwined, all the many personalities and quirks that make up this ragtag family add quite the dimension to the drama unfolding in the small town of Baker’s Creek, much to their nosy, gossipy neighbors delight.
As Henry begins to open up to his brothers, with baby steps of emotional tidbits thrown their way, it seems he has been hiding a significant secret of his own, which I didn’t see coming at all. It might be the straw that breaks the back of his fledgling attempts at romancing a certain take charge woman that he can’t seem to get out of his mind.
I love how the estranged brothers, who have only spent minimal time together over the years, are slowly learning to rely on each other in this very odd situation their father’s demands have left them in. The fun of watching them fall, finding their own hearts desire along the way was a nice bonus, with a very juicy ending in this one, to boot! Hope to see more about that as this series continues…but which brother will be next in line to find his own HEA?
Although this is a fun premise with many characters, the author has made sure that you’ll be able to follow along just fine. BUT, it seems like a great time to get into the series with just 2 books in so far.
I reveived an early version of this book with my own thoughts and options expressed here in this review.
Omg I loved this book I enjoyed this book because it has a really good story to follow its not just sex.
The story line between Henry and Sophia is great. I enjoy small town romances and that is what this is and of course you get the happy ending. Can’t wait to read about the other Aldridge brothers
Thank-you for this book
As a child Henry had everything he could ask for financially, but emotionally it was a much different situation. As a result, he comes across as cold and unfeeling when the truth is much different. He is a successful businessman who finds himself back in Baker’s Creek with his estranged brothers however he isn’t about to face the situation on his own so who better to have by his side than his trusted assistant.
Sophie enjoys her job but some days the same can’t be said for her boss however the financial benefits have enabled her to support her family and that is really all that matters to her. Having to relocate with Henry wasn’t part of her plan and it will either be a lesson in patience or a surprise she didn’t see coming.
I really enjoyed these characters as Sophie is fiery and isn’t afraid to face things head on while there is so much more to Henry than first appears. I am enjoying this series and can’t wait to see the next brother’s story unfold.
