He has a million followers, but she’s #TheOne
There are a million reasons why I shouldn’t ask Audrey to pretend to be my fiancée. For starters:
She’s my best friend’s sexy little sister.
She’ll have to travel around the world with me.
The paparazzi will eat her alive.
So will I.
But I also have a million followers on social media who think we’re already engaged, and there are millions of … I.
But I also have a million followers on social media who think we’re already engaged, and there are millions of dollars at stake. So what have I got to lose?
A Model Fiancé is a hot, humorous, full-length, standalone contemporary romance. Happy ending guaranteed (more than one), but the last one will make you cry. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Loved Audrey and Dev they are both so insecure in how their heart feels. Audrey has some past hurt from people not being there for her and feeling broken. Dev has never truly known what it’s like to love someone. Their ups and downs was so captivating that I didn’t want it to end. Truly loved their story and I hope we see them in a future book too. Highly recommend this book and author.
This book was sexy, hilarious, sweet and the main characters had me hooked from the start. Don’t miss this adorable book.
This was such a beautiful story that I loved every second of!
The characters were so well written, and felt real. They had flaws, experienced heartache, joy, and love and it was all perfect. I loved watching their story unfold and Dev and Audrey grow and develop both individually and together.
Nikky Kaye has created the perfect fake relationship/best friend’s little sister romance with Dev and Audrey and should be a definite must read for all.
ONE SIZZLING ADVENTURE!!!
Wow! Yep, I’m a puddle. No way around it with this slow burn, heart melting, page turning delight that you can’t put down. Talk about getting it all with a double dose of such epic proportions of feel good and wide smiles. Yep! This is that kinda gem. All the twists and turns, ups and downs, along with unexpected surprises that will totally blow you away. The drama, uncertainty and a little intrigue make for one incredible experience. The characters and scenes are written with such realism it brings this read to life beautifully. Remarkable job Nikki, thanks for sharing this little jewel with us.
This was my first book for this author and I really enjoyed it. It was a cute romance that had just a little angst and a lot of heart.
Audrey has had a crush on her brother’s best friend Devv who has become a professional model. It’s been a few years since they have seen each other. In a sorta comedy of errors they end up engaged. You journey with these two as the discover more about themselves as well as each other. I often found myself laughing as well as blushing. Although there was a few times I wanted to kick Devv. I also enjoyed the inclusion of a character that is half Indian. It was refreshing to have intertwined into the story traditions that I have yet to read in romance.
A Model Fiance is the latest release by Ms. Nikki Kaye. Being familiar with her work, you would expect a steamy, sexy romance with depth and while it is all of those things I lack the words to express just how amazing this book truly is. I was beyond impressed with the writing style and the creativity that Ms. Kaye has put into this impeccable storyline and I actually began recommending it to my friends before I was ever even done reading it. The two main characters were crafted in such a way; you feel as if you ‘know’ them. As a reader, I can appreciate the talent that takes for an Author to be able to draw you in from page 1 and keep you thoroughly engrossed all the way through until the end. Yes, it is the best friend’s little sister romance, however, you know what they say about the forbidden… it makes the fruit taste all the more sweeter. I try extremely hard never to give away any part of the plot and with that said; all that’s left for me to say is that should you be in the market for a compelling romance book, Ms. Kaye has certainly delivered.
Audrey Carlin has always had a crush on her brother’s best friend, Dev Sharpe. You know the type… Older, gorgeous and off limits. Now as a professional model, the feelings she has for Dev come back full throttle. After a mistake is broadcasted to his, fanbase, she is now his new fake fiance. How do you turn off real feelings to play pretend? Better yet, is it possible when what he feels for her is real? I encourage all romance readers to follow along as Audrey and Dev work hard to get their happily ever after. This book is an emotional rollercoaster of goodness that will certainly touch your heart, as it did mine. Perfection.
I voluntarily requested an advanced reader’s copy of A Model Fiance in exchange for my honest opinion and I loved everything about this publication. I highly recommend reading this book as well as anything written by Ms. Kaye.
Dev is a super sexy model who has always lusted after his best friends little sister Audrey. He has no idea that she has been in love with him since she was a teenager. They are in Vegas for her brother’s wedding. He is trying to avoid the paparazzi and she is reeling over the end of her engagement. After a lot of booze and a near hook up, their only focus is the wedding. Completely by accident it appears that Dev is proposing to Audrey, and she blurts out that yes, they are engaged…fake engaged! Thus begins their sweet, steamy, drama filled romance. They literally go all over the world., but it’s not until Dev almost loses her does he get his act together and fight for the woman he has always loved. It’s just so good!!!
Audrey’s crush on her older brother’s best friend, Dev, blossoms once she’s in Vegas for her brother’s wedding in Vegas. Dev quickly notices how much she had grown up and had gone through in the wake of her parents’ death.
Dev, model, but still still more comfortable living a relatively quiet, private life away from the cameras. Audrey, shy and subdued after a heartbreaking, emotional, and devastating break up from her last fiance.
After a hilarious accidental moment leaves millions of people believing he proposed to her, he comes up with an arrangement that helps him keep a multi-million dollar contract and she gets multiple benefits as well… To include bed benefits (wink wink).
Quick, fast, monologues and overall read. Sweet moments sprinkled with steam.
Favorite rom-com line:. Was a fling already flung if the woman ghosted you before you…. flang?
Entertaining, sexy, and just plan fun. Really enjoyed this, had a hard time putting it down. It was quirky and the happy ending leaves you smiling!

Audrey and Dev
Great read. I especially enjoyed learning so much about India and the culture. Looking forward to reading more books by Nikky.
Enjoyable read!
03/24/2021 “A Model Fiance” (nook) is a great story which is funny, sad and quirky. I chuckled frequently at some of Dev’s and Audrey’s adventures. Of course, I shed a few tears too. As far as I know, this is the first time I read a book by Nikky Kaye and I look forward to reading more.
P.S. I love the cover.
Like the main characters in this book , I am unsure. Unsure of whether or not I enjoyed this book.
Audrey was described and written to a tee. She is young and naive. Dev, however, for all the boasting and bravado that are used to describe him, his actions say otherwise. Throughout the story I was waiting for him to grow a pair.
Would have been better without as much profanity and vulgar words. Story itself was interesting and funny.
I really enjoyed the characters in this book.
Lots of humor…with some steamy scenes, some romance, oh…and naturally some misunderstanding. Enjoyed reading this. Word building was great in that I could picture the sounds (and smells) of India, the two weddings in Las Vegas, their encounter in a hostel in Vienna, and especially Dev.
I enjoyed the storyline and characters. I wish the book was 2-3 chapters longer. The ending felt rushed.
I love this book so much will definitely start reading more books from Nikky:)
A brother’s best friend forbidden romance. I absolutely love these kinds of books, they one of my favourite kinds to read.
Audrey’s crushed on Dev for as long as she can remember but she’s always been off limits to him being her brother’s best friend and all.
Meeting again after a few years have passed has Dev taking a second look at Audrey, she’s changed, she’s different and he’s interested. A mixup happens leaving her engaged to him and travelling around the world posing as his fiancé.
This book was so different compared to other books I’ve read like this. Nikky Kaye put her own spin on it and it’s been absolute fun to read. This is my first read from this author and I loved it.
Model Fiancé is a funny, swoony and seriously hot read. A romcom you won’t want to let go by you without reading.
