Very cute and wholesome. They have great chemistry from the start. I love how comfortable there are with each other from the start. Great HEA.
A terrific holiday read!
It was an alright book. I did not feel that it had anything new or interesting. It needed more character development.
A fun read
Entertaining, easy read!
Great story!! Refreshing…. no language and no sex…. just a couple of broken people that helped each other heal. Jake was an Army Ranger and wa going to retire from the Army until he was hurt in a road side bomb that he saved a couple of his teammates. Jake had a rough childhood cause his mom dropped him off to live with his rough grandparents. Jake went to Marietta to help one of his teammates and his very best friend Cody…. one of the men he had saved his life!! Suzanna was born and raised in Marietta and Jake ended up moving in right next door to her. She had had a couple of terrible relationships and was actually left at the altar. After Jake and Suzanna started spending some time together and her family thinks he’s her new boyfriend Jake and Suzanna start liking each other for real!! A great standalone with an HEA!!!
A simple love story of new beginnings. Clean and sweet romance, a great read.
It was s great resd!
This story was about very nice decent people who you wanted to have a happily ever after.
This is a fun read and I had trouble putting it down.
Cute story, easy read
Suzanna has been dumped twice….once at the alter. She does not want to have any more men in her life. Then Jake her new next door neighbor meets her. Jake is a former Ranger who has been injured and not looking for a relationship. When Suzanna learns that her family is coming to visit for Christmas she works out a deal with Jake to have a fake relationship. But is Jake pretending or not??
Fun holiday romance.
An entertaining story! A relaxing afternoon read with wonderful characters and storyline.
I really enjoyed this book up until the end. It was a relationship with a time limit which are not a bad set up. It was just the ending that kind of ruined it for me. The push and pull of the relationship was their struggle throughout the book. I like the happy ever after parts, but this one hit warp speed. The premise for both of them is this real? And then to go from their first meeting to being engaged and having a house in a few weeks was hard to grasp. I also felt like the ex was made a big deal about but his contribution to the story was minimal. He either should have been dropped or given a bigger part to the story. He felt like an afterthought and was treated like it too. Since he was the pivotal reason why she was fake dating someone I think he should have been treated as a character and not a cartoon villain. It was a good story, but it just fell flat me in a couple areas for it to be a great story.
Predictable
Enjoyed
A cute romantic comedy.
Nice Christmas story.
Nice light read
