Naldacci is always a good read
Excellent story. I haven’t read a book by David Baldacci that I haven’t loved. I’m always sorry when I finish them. There hasn’t been a character he created that I’ve felt was unbelievable or “over the top”. Looking forward to the next one.
Not my favorite Baldacci book or main character, but I liked it more the further I got into the story.
I like David Baldacci’s characters. Atlee Pine is a complicated, interesting woman. Read the first book in this series first to better understand her. I hope she and the Park Ranger find each other again.
Love this new character. Looking forward to reading more books in the series!
I like all of David Baldicci books!
Not my favorite. Seemed made for a action packed movie
not his best or worst; just ok…
A good thriller! Look forward to the next one in this series!
Very good! Supenseful. Cant put it down type of book.
Nothing Baldachi writes is boring or ordinary. The Atlee Pine character is not my favorite of his people. I feel badly for her and cannot imagine going through life with her burden, but she’s just a little darker than I’m comfortable with. I certainly won’t quit reading his books, though!
Interesting mystery, but unsatisfactory, unresolved ending
David Baldacci has everything I like in a mystery novel that keeps me coming back for more hope Baldacci keeps them coming I can’t get enough!
What I would expect from Baldacci. Interesting – in his other book Myron goes back to his child hood home to solve a case and here Atlee is doing the same thing!
“A Minute to Midnight” Atlee Pine Series, Book 2 – David Baldacci
I recommend you read this series in order. That said, this is another really good suspense story. This is another step in Atlee Pine’s quests for closure. A riveting tale to be sure. And per usual you probably will not get all your clues aligned until the author graciously clues you in. I read this audiobook as a download from my state library. I am ever so thankful for the people who support our library system which makes such a great variety of reading materials available to our communities. This is a Worthy Read. Happy Reading ! !
I like the Atlee Pine character and was interested in learning more about her past and what happened to her twin sister Mercy. In this book, Atlee returns to Andersonville, Georgia, the town where her sister was kidnapped to see if she can jog her memory and also to talk to the locals to see what they can tell her. She was only six years old when this happened, so there are many things that she may not remember. The small town characters added depth to the story and then there is the mystery of the new murders. Are these new murders connected to Atlee returning to town? I liked how the story progressed, but wish that it didn’t end the way that it did.
Excellent Atlee Pine book! I found out a LOT about her background, including more information about her mother and her sister who was kidnapped. I loved the intricate details in this book and the research that went into Andersonville. I’m looking forward to more Atlee Pine books, or really, anything written by David Baldacci.
