Love knows no bounds in this second chance romance.
Charlotte’s a survivor.
She’s endured more in her twenty-five years on Earth than most people do in a lifetime. It started when she lost her parents at the age of six. At sixteen, she was placed in foster care.
Things finally started to look up when she met Blake. He became her best friend, protector and eventually, the love of her life until … eventually, the love of her life until he too is taken from her.
Can they find their way back to one another? Or is Charlotte waiting for a day that may never come?
How long is too long to wait for true love?

I loved that Blake was there for Charlotte when she finally found her forever home. I loved their friendship. It saddened me the times they had to be apart. All the mistakes of their youth made me want to throw my Kindle. I get that time, distance, and a slight age gap can create issues, but all that time apart was maddening. I get any relationships go up and down. Maybe they both had to grow up apart and make their mistakes in life to appreciate what they have in each other.
This is my first experience with this author so I didn’t know what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised. This is a sweet story about two people who fit together so perfectly but also have some growing to do before being together. Charlotte and Blake share such a deep bond. This story pulled me in right from the start and I just couldn’t put it down. It had me laughing at times, and crying at others. A beautiful story that will definitely pull at your heartstrings. Definitely a great read and I look forward to reading more by this author.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This a great second chance story. It is kind of like reading Charlotte’s diary. This story is full of raw emotion that gets you when you least expect it. It would have been nice to have Blake’s perspective on the story as well and there were some loose strings left to tie. Besides that, I really enjoyed reading this story. I liked seeing how they met and how they grew up, dated, broke up, and came back for each other. They were both very young when they discovered love and that came crashing down upon them. They both made mistakes and had problems but were able to overcome anything with each other’s help.
I wrote this voluntary review in exchange for an ARC copy.
WOWSERS
WAITING ON SOMEDAY is the first book I’ve read by Rachael Brownell and it will not be my last.
Because I read this as a “Quirky Blind Date With a Book” book, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. This story is told in past and present time, through trials and tribulations of the two protagonist’s lives.
This story made me laugh and cry and I enjoyed every moment. I read this book in one sitting and had to wait a bit to write an unbiased, unemotional review.
If I could have given this book more than 5 stars, I would.

This was a pretty good story. I found myself going back to the table of contents almost every chapter to check what month/year the last chapter was. The ending… aaahhh why?!?!
I found the story of Charlotte and Blake one roll coaster of emotions. Showing of the past and growth of Charlotte and how it affected her and then Blake. This story is one of emotional growth for Charlotte. This story takes you their emotions that you are happy when they are, cry with her, and angry when needed. A definite must read story.
