Have you ever wanted to date a vampire?
Human women required. Must be enthusiastic about interactions with vampires. Must be willing to undergo a stringent medical exam. Must be prepared to sign a contractual agreement which would include a non-disclosure clause. Limited positions available… female of his very own. One to love and care for. One who will love him in return. More than anything he wants a family…he longs to hear the sound of children’s laughter filling his home. It is his deepest desire.
Since most vampire females are not able to birth young, a program is started to ensure the continuation of the vampire species. The vampire elite must fight, fist and fang, for a much sought after place in the program and a chance to date human women.
There are a multitude of beautiful human females in attendance. They have been handpicked to ensure that they are irresistible to vampire males. Why is it then that York wants the one female he can’t have?
When Cassidy is selected for the trial phase of the program, she is ecstatic. This is the break she’s been waiting for. Her job is to root out any vampires with bloodlust. She’s quaking in her boots because she could end up dead. This position certainly isn’t for sissies. Thing is, it’s only three days of her life. All she needs to do is to allow a few of them to drink from her and survive long enough to get paid. Then she’s home free. Besides, she quit her job in order to be here so she so doesn’t have any other options available to her. Three days…pity one times big, badass vampire is determined to get in the way of her plans.
The story contains strong sexual themes/language and is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

Really good book
Fun characters, I enjoyed it a lot and got the next one to read also.
A Mate for York is a light read. I must have been in the mood for steamy romance, because I didn’t want to put the book down. I really enjoyed the characters and story line.
Not your typical love story. It was very easy to read and it showed vampires in a new and different way than the typical no sun, bloodlust in them all and I really enjoyed reading this book. I highly recommend it and I want to read the rest of the series ASAP.
This series is a thoroughly enjoyable romantic romp. It’s the rare woman who doesn’t want a ‘mate’ who, once committed to you will be 100% honest, faithful and adoring, for life! Of course, how they get to their happily ever after is the fun part.
I read this book, then had to go read the entire series, I’m on the third series of books now!
I really enjoyed this book!! I liked it so much I had to go back and read the first one!!
Way to set the hook! I can’t wait to get my hands on the next in the series. Thank you for the journey.
A good read.
Great book!! Ready to read the rest of the series!
The language was rough for me. I loved the story line but could have done without a lot of the F bombs.
Good read.
Easy read
Too short – would have liked more character development and more background to the situation.
The book was funny and had some steamy sex. It was a fast read. However, it ended in a cliffhanger. We really didn’t know if York and Cassidy would have a baby. It was implied so I guess you would find out for sure in the next series. There wasn’t enough backstory for the characters.
The author explained that she didn’t reveal if they were pregnant because it didn’t matter. She said that they loved each other whether they had a baby or not. I get that they loved each other no matter what. However the premise of the book was that vampires had to choose humans to mate with in order to have children. Female vampires couldn’t have babies – hips too narrow. Caesareans were out of the question because they would have to use silver instruments and that was poisonous and would kill the baby.
Yes, they loved each other and that completed them. However, if that was the case, why even make it a possibility in the book. Without vampires needing to mate with humans to have children, the book wouldn’t have a purpose. I don’t buy the author’s explanation. It ended in a cliffhanger.
This book was okay. The storyline is the same as most supernatural romance. Bloodlust, one mate, etc etc.
I enjoyed it and look forward to more from this author and you will too.
I loved this book, and I will be getting the whole collection I like the characters, I the storyline, and I like everything about the
