Another amazing read by Alicia with her True Mates universe. This time we have Jackson, Connor’s identical twin brother. He was mentioned in Connor’s book when someone tried to kidnap them both but left one child behind. Now the Alpha of the Shenandoah clan, Jackson spends his time running the territory, the ranch and looking after his son Austin. He rehabilitates loan wolves and those that were affected by the mages.
Jordon is a scientist and works for Jade Creed at the Fenrir corporation until one incident forces her employer to send her away to “play nice with others”. She meets the other but seems attracted to Jackson. With Liz on the prowl and ready to stake her claim will Jackson and Jordon ever give in to there feelings and attraction? Or is it all about lust. When Jordon has another catastrophe in the lab and this time saving Creed’s and Meredith babies will she be able to realise what is going on? I loved Jackson but he was a little to short sighted to see what was going on in front of him.
Love doesn’t always come easily or as expected. Attraction, chemistry and love find Jackson and Jordan in this very entertaining story. Jackson is a single dad, an Alpha to his clan and is trying to do the best that he can but Austin, his rebellious son, needs more. Somewhere between the corporate retreats, his son’s acting out, and his well meaning family, Jackson recognizes his need for a mate.
Jordan didn’t want to attend the corporate retreat but her boss made it mandatory. She’s been thrown in the deep end of something she didn’t realize she wanted to be a part of. She is smart and sassy and different from others and doesn’t fit in. However, she may have to revise her opinions when she realizes her heart has been touched by one amazing little boy and his very appealing father.
As with all of Ms. Montgomery’s body of works, I loved this book! I didn’t put it down until I had finished it. Please, do yourself a favor, get the entire series. She has put so much detail into each book and each character. The stories and characters easily mesh into each other but can also stand alone. I suggest becoming entirely immersed in the world of the True Mates, the Blackstone Mountain series and the Lone Wolf series. You’ll be well and truly entertained.
A Mate for Jackson is a part of the True Mates series by Alicia Montgomery. I love True Mates families and their world that Alicia so easily wove into something powerful and magical. As with all her books Alicia draws you into the journey and makes you feel like a part of what they are going through. I have never read something from Alicia that I have not loved.
Jackson a single dad, an Alpha to his clan and is trying to do the best that he can but Austin needs more. Hosting the first corporate retreat, he finds something that he can’t get out of his head but it is not something he wants but his wolf has a mind of its own. He was looking in all the wrong places. He couldn’t see what was right in front of him and now it was gone.
Jordan has been thrown in the deep end of something she doesn’t want to be a part of. She is smart and sassy and different from others and doesn’t fit in. But one little man found his way into her heart and it hurt when she had to leave him behind.
I loved this book and could not put it down. You really need to get a hold of this series and devour it.
I really liked this book. Jackson is so busy being Alpha and running a retreat/rehab ranch for shifters. I did not like his mom and sister-in-law pushing Liz on him and him following along. She, to me, was stuck-up and fake and his son was nowhere on her radar. Whereas, Jordan was all about him and didn’t even really like Jackson. This is exciting (dealing with rogues), infuriating, and really sweet. I liked the concept of a pregnant shifter being invincible. I volunteered to read an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.
Love doesn’t come as expected or easily. Between the corporate retreat, his son’s acting out, and his well meaning family, Jackson has his hands full. Jordan doesn’t want to attend the corporate retreat. However she may have to revise her opinions when her heart is engaged by an adorable little boy and his very appealing father. Attraction, chemistry and love find Jackson and Jordan in a very entertaining story.
Loved the story…
Life can be overwhelming, even for a busy Alpha wolf. Jackson has a new business to run. These corporate retreats and “wolf rescue” programs are helping the pack finances. His son Austin on the other had frustrates him. He seems to be getting into trouble and is defiant. Maybe he needs a mate to help him with everything and give him a little balance.
It is never a good idea when your family wants to help pick your new girlfriend, mate or wife. Of course, they want what they think is BEST for you. Their criteria may not be the same as yours. Jackson’s friends and family hand pick a woman for the corporate retreat.
Liz is pretty, seems to get along with everyone and tries to help out. It almost seems to good to be true. Joining the corporate retreat at the last minute is Jordan. Jordan had a mishap in the lab at work and endangered the life of the research doctor and dragon shifters wife. She is slightly out of touch, nerdy and more than a little quirky and snarky.
Liz and Jackson make a pretty couple. Jackson and Jordan seem to rub each other the wrong way. There are sparks but can Jordan see herself in the mountains when her heart is in a research lab? She and Jackson are fighting their attraction, they really need to keep their clothes on.
Austin and Jordan strike up a friendship when Jordan tutors him. Can Jackson see who would be the best for his clan and son?
I really liked this book. Interesting characters.
Wonderful read

Definitely loved the Action and Drama in this book let alone some Wickedly Hot Scenes.
Jackson Forrest is the Alpha Wolf Shifter who Alpha Grant Anderson (Wolf Shifter) of New York, and Sebastian Creed who is a Dragon Shifter asked for help taking on some wolves who had been brainwashed by the Mages. Everything was working out even started a retreat Grant asked for until the pungent smell hit him. NO OH NO he did not want this….
Jordan Matsumoto is a Wolf Shifter from San Fransico working for Dr. Jade Creed in New York. After an accident at the lab Dr. Jade forced Jordan to go to a retreat to learn to play with others instead of a loner. This was absolutely ludicrous except she had no choice she had to go.
Yep this is a GREAT Book!!!
Definitely a Must Read!..
Merry Christmas
and
God Bless Us Everyone..
Jackson is a lycan and alpha of his pack. He has a twin brother who is mated and a son (Austin) that is out of control. He is working with other alpha to help thier pack members heal and get in touch with thier wolves since the live in the big city.
Now his mom and his sister in law have got a little plan of thier own going on. Because it’s been to long since Jackson had a mate and Austin a mom with all the lycans coming in thought the program one has got to work!
Jordan works at Fenrir Corporation headquarters in the science department. She is first in and last to leave. She is a lycan to and hates germs lol science comes first. she is just to smart for her own good but she doesn’t work well with others. that’s cause’s problems. Her boss sends her to a ranch and she is lost there but it for her own good. Lol
Love the characters, there is lots of drama and action. I couldn’t put it down . It was a great read don’t miss it
a author that puts her all into her characters. i loved jordan, jackson and his son. she is a fiesty woman that feels alone in life and jackson wants his fated mate but dosent think he will ever have one. i am voluntarily reviewing an arc gifted by the author with no obligation.
A good shifter romance story.
Jackson didn’t want to fall in love and risk a broken heart again.
Jordan was a loner and didn’t handle relationships very well.
She was sent on a retreat to Jackson compound and there was a attraction but problems arose, Austin his son,Another women and a rogue wolf.
Like the story,characters and drama.
Voluntarily reviewed.
I laughed almost as hard as I swooned!
Jackson is deliciously sexy, an Alpha constantly at odds with his mini-me son. Jordan is one of the participants of a corporate retreat he’s hosting, and she couldn’t be more wrong for him if she tried. And boy, does she try!
Jordan hates – with a capital H – hates the outdoors and everything about country living. Until she actually gives it a try, that is. She’s surprised to find that her inner wolf loves the freedom and has an unhealthy interest in the seemingly-spoken-for Alpha who embodies everything she is absolutely not looking for. But her heart is quickly stolen by his young son, who seems to find a kindred spirit in Jordan.
This is a beautiful romance that demonstrates the difference between “ticking all the boxes” and connecting on a soul-deep level. Nothing about their relationship is easy, but it’s the only thing strong enough to see them through the danger that threatens the ones they love. I loved this book as much as all the True Mates books, maybe even a little bit more. These are some of the very best in shifter romance books. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Spectacular as always! This story is such a page turner and includes wonderful characters that makes the entire story boom. Alicia is such a talented writer!
One stressed wolf…
Jackson was first introduced in Connor and Evie’s story. While reading that book first isn’t necessary, I highly suggest it (actually I suggest you read the entire “Fated Mates” series if you haven’t already). Between his survivor’s guilt, pack troubles and rebellious son, Jackson is one stressed Alpha. His family believes he needs a mate to help handle the load. Jordan doesn’t “play well with others”. When this trait leads to what could have been a deadly accident, she is put in “time out” and sent to Jackson’s pack for a corporate retreat. Jackson and Jordan definitely get off on the wrong foot but you can feel the pull between the two. Will Jackson play it safe or open his heart up? Has Jordan finally found someone to accept her for herself? This is a wonderful addition to a series that I truly love. Is it bad that I’m hoping for “snow days” real soon so I can binge read the entire series?!?
*I received an Advance Reader’s Copy of this book which I am voluntarily reviewing*
A Mate for Jackson is a stand-alone romance within the True Mates series. Jackson is an alpha of his clan, a single father, and now responsible for the shifters who are a little too wild for the big city. When he hosts his first corporate retreat, he can’t get Jordan off his mind. Jordan is smart, but knows she’s different from other wolves. She hates being forced to be on this retreat, hates Jackson’s overbearing attitude, but feels a kinship to his son. They feels a need to be together, but is it possible for anything to last when they’re all wrong for one another?
I just love being back in this world of True Mates, familiar faces, and I absolutely loved Jackson, Jordan, and Austin! Jackson just had so much on his plate and he was honestly trying to do the best that he could balancing it all, but it took the blunt honesty of an outsider to see how it was going wrong, especially when it came to Austin. Jordan was timid with her emotions, but I loved that she wasn’t afraid to get in your face and tell you how she sees it. At first glance, they did definitely seem like two extreme opposites, but I loved that this retreat gave Jordan the opportunity to see what’s important in her life, and it gave Jackson the chance to see that he’s just not able to do it all alone. I loved that this book had so much more than just the conflict between Jackson and Jordan, but also with a different potential mate, an issue with a feral wolf, and more to all keep you turning pages and wanting more! While this book can be read as a stand alone, some events and many characters are referenced from previous books. I loved reading this book and could not put it down!
Wow Alicia does it again with another great True Mate story. Jackson is an Alpha of a Shenandoah Clan and his twin Connor lives in New York. Grant & Sebastian in New York are sending Lycans there for their rehab. Jordan accidently blows the lab up so Sebastian sends her with the group getting ready to go for the first executive retreat. She hates the outdoors she has allergies. Evie and Meredith got Grant to send Liz on retreat in hopes that Jackson would find a new mate and they seem to hit it off. Liz wants to be the next Lupa of the Shenandoah Clan. Jordan seems to agitate and frustrate Jackson. Austin gets kicked out of school so Jordan ends up teaching him. They find they are attached to each other but fight it.
I enjoyed reading this book , it has a good storyline . The chemistry between Jordan and Jackson is wonderful. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
