What good is a witch with no magic?I’m Lexi Balefire and I wear a lot of hats, but none of them are tall and pointy. I spend half my time making love matches that last forever, and the other half trying to keep my faerie godmothers from turning each other into toads. Or worse.I come from a long line of witches, some of them wicked, but none of that will matter if my magic doesn’t awaken before … will matter if my magic doesn’t awaken before midnight on my next birthday. If I miss that deadline, I’ll never be a true witch.
If my mother and grandmotherhadn’t used their magic to kill each other, one of them might have been able to give me the keys to the mystery and I’d be one step closer to claiming my Fate Weaver heritage.
Now, I guess I’ll have to figure it out on my own.

An easy light read, one you can lay down and pick up later w/out feeling…Oh what did I miss by laying this down? Good story for running errands w/ time to kill in between stops
This is a no-brainer book. Read it just to enjoy it.
Entertaining and a quick read. You will enjoy Lexi Balefire and her match making business along with her other exceptional inherited traits.
This book was fun to read and I snatched a couple of phrases for myself.
This was a well written book that had great characters. Lexi will keep you entertained and wanting to turn the pages.
Interesting but not entirely riveting. I didn’t guess the murderer tho, so that’s something.
Light and easy to read. A witch having fairy godmothers was interesting. Having the main character being a witch without powers who was a great matchmaker added interest. I just felt too long was spent on how chaotic the fairy godmothers made things
Good fun read
Lots of fun and creative characters. I will enjoy reading more from this author!
An interesting fantasy/paranormal witch story with characters that have potential, but need a bit more depth. I had a hard time getting into the story as it hopped around a bit, but that has happened with other books and I have gone on to really like the series. I will read the next book in the series to see if it grabs me, but I am hoping the plot has a bit more meat on the bones than this one did. This was like an introduction to a cast of characters with an outline of how they came to be a connected group, but more depth of character and consistency of character will be welcome in future books.
Enjoyed reading this book. Will be reading more books by Regina Wlling. The fairy godmothers are hilarious.
A funny book with an anticlimactic middle and an unexpected ending. Great characters but pace was a bit off to me. I did enjoy the twists (yes more than one) at the end. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
