Our goodnight kiss should have been goodbye.
We meant it to be.
But Monday morning there was Logan Jennings, in my office, deciding the fate of the company I love…and my job.
I never should have said the things I said or let myself feel the things I felt because connections like this don’t just go away. Even when you desperately need them to.
In two weeks, he’ll be gone, and nothing will … gone, and nothing will ever be the same.
A clean and hilarious romcom with lots of heart and sizzle. You’ve been looking for a book like this! Grab your copy now!

Having a date or at least underclothes that fit shouldn’t be reserved for those a size four or less.
In this body positive romance Tessa looks herself deeply in the eyes and honors the little girl who once understood that she was beautiful, no matter what the rest of the world tells her.
This book is a winner reminding the reader that they deserve to love themselves!
This book had my captivated from the title until the end! I loved the premise and found myself laughing on more than one occasion during this read. Great read from an engaging author!
I loved so much about this fantastic clean romantic comedy! Seriously, it was such a fun book to read. First off, the author did a fantastic job with the characters overall as well as with the chemistry specifically between Logan and Tessa. Their connection just oozed off the pages it was so legit and hot while remaining PG and their banter- I was wishing it would keep going on it was pure entertainment and flirtation at its best! It was also neat that Logan was this extremely attractive guy, but he wasn’t a jerk. His self-control made him all the more adorable. Tessa’s realness and ability to simply be honest was refreshing and inspiring. I laughed many times and simply couldn’t put the book down I found myself enjoying it so much. I sure hope the author Michelle Pennington has more contemporary romances up her sleeve because all I can say is, I want more!
The cover said sweet romance and that is a most fitting description. Both main characters are very relatable and easy to like. Some witty banter and cute amusing scenarios.
This was a great story. It had me laughing out loud several times. I loved Tessa’s view on life, the way she faces opposition and her dedication to her job. Logan was a stick in the mud, but he bloomed when he was around Tessa. I loved their relationship. I recommend this book to anyone that loves comedy and sweet, clean romance.
I received a copy of this book. This is my honest and voluntary review.
Life is strange right now and this book was the absolute perfect distraction! Michelle Pennington writes in a few different genres, but this has got to be a favorite of mine. She hits it right on the mark with her hilarious and snarky protagonist, Tessa, and the highly entertaining antics that ensue from working in a lingerie environment.
The first meet situation between Tessa and Logan was brilliant and hilarious. I was cringing and blushing, while I devoured this sarcastic and carefree story, but most of all, my heart and soul were completely engaged from start to finish.
Tessa is a perfectly imperfect character and one whom many can relate to. I love how far she has come in embracing herself, yet she still finds room for growth. If don’t think there’s any living, breathing woman out there who could resist Logan’s charms and I loved that undeniable pull between these two seemingly opposite characters.
This story is a home-run-winner-winner-chicken-dinner kind of a book and I’m wishing on stars that Ms Pennington writes more in this genre.
Content: mild+ romance (some light innuendo, kissing, lingerie talk)

I think this is my favorite contemporary romance this year. Right up there with my fav books! This was so much fun! This had a perfect formula for me. The girl had some self esteem issues( don’t we all) but they were not dwelled upon and overly talked about. There is actually a part in the book I loved where she looks at herself in the mirror and reminds herself that she is awesome. Loved it! She was also not a tiny thing but it wasn’t shoved down your throat it was just an issue she had. This story was just done so well. I loved the humor and the sillyness, but also the real life stress. I LOVED Logan! Oh my what an amazing guy! This story just worked so well. This is also something I would have no problem giving my teen but had heat that was so well done! The kisses were amazing! If you are looking for a good contemporary give this one a shot.
A Man Worth Shaving For was soooo good!!! I was hooked to the story since the author shared a sneak peek in her NL, and then after it published when I read the preview that Amazon shows of the book. So, after one-clicking it, I decided to start reading it near my bedtime. Two words: Big Mistake. This book is great at making you feel what Tessa’s going through: you’ll be pretty much swooning, laughing and even fanning yourself (I did at one point) with all the interactions between her and Logan just, be warned: If you value your sleep or are going to want to function properly the next day, don’t start it so late, lol. Also, I think the other readers are right: this might as well be Ms. Pennington’s best so far, and I can’t wait for Krista’s story happy squeal.
Content: it’s clean/sweet as in there are only a few passionate kisses but nothing else happens. However, the h works at a lingerie shop and thus, there are innuendos/expressions, descriptions and comments that go along that line of work (mentioned when talking with her coworkers as well as with the H).
Oh. My. Goodness!! Hands down this is my favorite Michelle Pennington book. It’s been awhile since I’ve laughed so much while reading. Every time I turned a page I was giggling or laughing out loud. I was warned by a friend that once I started this book I wouldn’t want to put it down, and she was right. I started reading one day and finished it the next, it’s the reason my math schoolwork wasn’t finished until Saturday. It was totally worth it.
Tessa is the head of HR for a lingerie company, and is talked into a double blind date by her roommate, where she meets Logan Jennings. Let’s just say the date is memorable, but not because it goes well. Monday morning Tessa gets the shock of her life when she discovers Logan is the business consultant the owner hired to get the company back on track. How’s that for awkward?
Logan is the best!! He and Tessa have so much chemistry I’m surprised they didn’t set the fire sprinklers off at work. The scenes that take place at work are hilarious. There’s an especially memorable conference room scene that would’ve had me choking if I had been eating or drinking while reading it.
This is a different style of writing than the author’s other books, and though I’ve enjoyed her other books, I love the style of this one. It’s a great romantic comedy and would make a great movie.
Fun and flirty in a refreshing kind of way, but also honest. Tessa is a delightfully relatable character and the plot made me smile from the first page. Logan’s “data analysis” was an adorable addition. The whole story is a pretty fantastic romantic comedy.
A lot of books SAY they are a comedy, but this one truly had me laughing out loud — a lot. I fell in love with Tessa almost immediately. Her ability to be brutally honest and laugh at her horrible luck was amazing. And you don’t have to be a not-size-4 to relate to her insecurity when there is literally an entire office full of women fawning over the guy you like, yet for the most part, she is wonderfully confident. Add in the “beautiful” Logan, and you’ve got a winner!
I was given a free copy for an honest review.
Logan was definitely book boyfriend material!
