This is a very interesting book about people in a small town whose lives come together at a hardware store. There’s a lot of trauma and drama in their lives that keeps it interesting. I moves along at an moderate pace , no car chases or murders, but satisfying. Then comes the surprise ending that I absolutely did not see coming. I normally read spy or crime novels which are usually fast paced. This isn’t, but I’m really glad I kept reading to the end. I was very surprised at how emotional I got when I described the story to my wife.
Very engaging! The characters are well-drawn, unique individuals and this unusual story kept me reading enthusiastically.
Compelling and wonderfully human
Was surprised at the end.
Very unusual story with well crafted characters. Easy to read and thought provoking
Definitely different.
Something I rarely say – different, truly different. Different (and interesting) characters; different (and compelling) plot. Well worth the read.
Not what you expect! It’s a great story with an amazing twist!
A Man Walks Into A Hardware story was easy-to-read and really hard to put down!
Very well written. Worth a read.
It wasn’t your typical novel. Although the book didn’t dwell on the subject of depression and anxiety, it was the basis of the story.
Didn’t think this was billed as a romance, but it sorta turned out to be one…. Was good; I enjoyed it.
Very unique, engaging.
Loved the characters and the writing. Would recommend as it was a great read!
This was a very different story premise but well worth the read. The characters were unique and my curiosity of what was to come kept me reading. I recommend it.
