This was a great book, it was tragic what the three sisters had to do to insure that they wouldn’t be married to old men chosen by their father. It is comical that two of the brothers were blind to the fact that they wives had been ordered for them and one of the sisters was blind to the scheme also. It is a good read!
It was a fun, easy-to-read novel which was what I was looking for at that time. Nothing deep or gripping but a good read.
This author needs a good editor. Several misspellings. Story line is weak.
Good read enjoyed the book and the story line. One in a series of books.
A very sweet mail order bride story where one miner orders 9 women to be his bride, but he doesn’t survive long enough to marry even one. His death is not caused by what you may think and the story will grab you from this point in the book and keep you hooked.
Although there are a few spelling or grammatical errors which would have been easily picked up and corrected by careful editing, the story itself it good and has a clever theme.
Both the hero and heroine have good strengths and interesting personalities as do all the supporting personalities so with a bit more ‘polish’ it could have rated an extra star. I am hoping the author has insisted on better editing for the other books in this series and will recommend this first one for the merit of story itself which is good.
I fell in love with these two, and rooted for them through all of the drama of the situation to figure it out, and fall in love. I knew they would, but I really enjoyed the journey!
A bit predictable but otherwise it was an easy read about a historical fiction romance in Montana. I’m looking forward to reading the stories of the other 8 brides.
I love Janelle Daniels books. Great reading -very engaging and entertaining.
A refreshing read, good little story, kept a persons interest.
Good character development. Easy read.. and you don’t want to put it down..
Great book
Good read.
I thoroughly enjoyed this easy read
Just okay. Nothing to write home about or to tell your friends to read. I read halfway thru, then skipped to the end. That summed up the story pretty much.
Light weight but a good enough story line to keep my interest.
Good story and interesting characters. A new plot that can develop into lots of interesting stories
This was an enjoyable but predictable book. It was good for a quick read. I thought the characters were good and liked the overall story.
Quick read, very predictable, didn’t interest me enough to buy another book in the series
I loved this book and am now hooked on the series! I love mail order bride romances. Thankyou!
I could not put this book down. If you like historical books, this is a great read.
