I liked this one, didn’t love it. Would I recommend? Yes. This author writes solid romance with great characters and some good hot scenes. I loved the first couple chapters, especially the first meeting of these two on her girls night out. I just felt like it go a tad bit awkward after that and couldn’t get why there was a need to wait, the introduction of his brother and his side story felt weird. I’ll assume it’s to set up a series and if so, I would read the next book.

Lincoln has had his eye on Presley since the moment he saw her walk into his bar six months ago, but he has yet to make a move. Presley comes to his bar for ladies night with her friends and he knows its time to make her his. These two love big and it was sweet to read their story. It was a whirlwind from beginning to the end and the secondary characters were just as fabulous as Lincoln and Presley. I can not wait to hopefully read about them in the future. This book was low angst and no drama just love and forever. A wonderful book.

Presley & Lincoln… I love these two together. So much passion between the two. They definitely heat up the pages. From how they meet to how well they interact with one another made for one heck of a story!
Where better for Presley and her best friends to have a night out then the local pub where she can admire Lincoln, the owner. She can’t stop thinking about him, but he hasn’t shown any interest until tonight.
Lincoln has known that he and Presley belong together and he intends to make that clear starting tonight. He is determined to show her that only man she needs is him and the only place she needs to be is by his side.
I am looking forward to the stories about her friends.
Presley is a small town teacher with wonderful friends. Lincoln is new to town & opens up a bar which the ladies now frequent. They’ve had eyes for each other but now Linc decides to make a move. They make a cute hot couple & I liked it wasn’t overly angsty. One of those books to chill & relax with.

This is a fun fast read that takes well under an hour to read It is the story of three best friends and the bar that they meet in.
This is one of those women story Presley Stevens is a kindergarten teacher and she has no idea that the owner of the pub they drink at has his eye on her. Lincoln Anderson has wanted her since he first saw her in his pub but when he sees other men looking he knows it is time to make his move but can he convince her that he really is the man for her.
4 1/2 Stars
Unexpectedly entertaining with Lincoln, the ideal man, as he made his move after six months of noticing Presley in his bar. Quite a number of romantic scenes as he controlled his passion for her by waiting and not jumping on her bones as most OTT romances do these days.
It was still an instalust/instalove romance but full of feels and fairytale like relationships throughout. With both Lincoln and Presley surrounded by intact and loving families, this was by no means a dark romance. Refreshingly sweet and equally sexy as their relationship grew and flourished.

Lincoln has been covertly eyeing Presley every time the gorgeous preschool teacher steps into his bar with her two besties. Hesitating to make a move on Presley until his business is established, Lincoln’s held himself in check — until he bumps into her one night on his way to his office and stakes a very public claim. He’s soon all in and even Presley’s overprotective dad and uncles don’t faze him. In A Love Like Ours, Tory Baker ramps up the heat and delivers a book that’s pure pleasure from start to finish.

Three families.
Three daughters
Best friends all around
This is Presley’s story
Lincoln is new in town. he bought the local bar, turned it into the hot spot. Dancing, drinking and all around letting loose good time place. He left his family’s business moved across country and found a place for himself.
They found each other literally across the dance floor.
Six months of waiting to claim Presley.
So worth the wait.
Lincoln and Presley complement each other in life. She is a kindergarten teacher with a heart of gold.
With low key dates hot kisses and 3 am phone calls they are on the way to forever.
Lincoln comes from money and not all the women out there are out for love. His brother can attest to that.
As the days and weeks pass, getting to know family and friends is easy loving each other easier.
With a spring break trip to meet the parents they do something impulsive.
With apprehension and the Vegas strip.
Home is wonderful friends and family come together and celebrate. Little did they know they had more coming.

Lincoln and Presley are both sweet on each other and neither has made a move on the other until the beginning of this story.
This is an instalove tale with no angst, no drama, no jealousy, and no family or friends alienated. Just two people attracted to each other who decide to get to know one another better and then go for it without playing games.
What a refreshing concept!

Sweet, steamy, quick read when Lincoln decides to make Presley his direct concern. Love the easy connection of warmth and friendship not only between Lincoln and Presley, but also with her friends Lyla and Callie. This was such an easy and fun read, hoping that this will be a series to get the rest of the characters their own story.

I loved this story. The characters were interesting and relatable. I loved the friendships and supporting characters. I wish there was more, but that’s just because I loved it so much that I didn’t want it to end.
Presley has a great life with a job she loves as a pre-school teacher and two best friends in Lyla and Callie. All three women are as close if not closer than sisters having grown up together. They have monthly girl’s nights out to keep in touch. A lot of those girl’s nights end up at Maverick’s Place, their favorite bar. Presley enjoys going to Maverick’s Place for another reason, Lincoln the bar’s owner and the warm feelings that he gives her.
Lincoln is the owner of Maverick’s Place and while Presley doesn’t know it yet, he’s decided that she needs to be his. He had to get things situated before he made a move, but he’s been keeping his eye on her. Now that he has made sure his bar is a success, Lincoln feels like he can move on and let Presley know not only is he interested, but that he is going to keep her.
The way they kind of flirted for months and then went to dating and building their relationship was wonderful. That their family and friends were aware and on board with their relationship was great. There wasn’t really any angst other than the usual how will so and so feel about this, which was nice. The way Lincoln was with Clairabella was so sweet and made me want to keep him. I loved their happy ever after. I definitely recommend reading this book if you want a smile on your face when you are done!
