Bestselling authors Brittainy C. Cherry and Kandi Steiner come together for the first time in an emotional compilation of poetry and prose. Written and collected over the course of more than two years, A Love Letter from the Girls Who Feel Everything is an intimate, honest, and raw assemblage of two women’s feelings in a modern world that often quiets any kind of emotion past indifference.… indifference.
Discussing themes of love, worth, loss and hope, A Love Letter from the Girls Who Feel Everything is a journey of discovery and healing.
“We are the girls who feel everything.
And this is our love letter. To you, to them, to us, to the world, to no one at all. Whether it’s the brightest, sunniest day where everything is perfect, or the darkest, dreariest night of rain where life seems unbearable — we have lived it, we have survived it, and we have felt every, blissful, aching second.
Here’s to embracing the feels, to the brave souls that listen to the way their hearts beat and aren’t afraid to ask someone else if they feel those same beats, too. Here’s to the girls, the boys, the love we sometimes share and the love we all-too-often conceal.
And more than anything, Reader — here’s to you.”

A Love letter from the Girls Who Feel Everything is meant to be savored, page by page, breathing each word and letting them sink. It is a delightful and insightful book that must be read at the right time.
The first time I tried to read it, I was overwhelmed by life. And while I went through some of it, the words didn’t resonate because I wasn’t ready to really grasp and accept them. Now that life is calmer (or most likely, I’ve embraced the chaos as part of my reality), I sat down with this book and took the words, allowing myself to feel.
And this time, Kandi Steiner and Brittainy C. Cherry’s poetry and prose spoke to me. I saw myself in doubts and past loves, in pain and self-worth, in what I thought it should have been, in the freedom I felt when I was brave to let go.
Beautiful poetry by Brittainy and Kandi!
Great collection of poems from two talented authors. You could feel the emotion seeping through the pages.
I absolutely adored this short collection of poetry and prose. The book had such a calming effect on me as I read and I could relate to many of the emotions held within the poems. I truly hope that these authors will collaborate again in the future and share more of their feelings and words.
Readers of Brittainy C. Cherry and Kandi Steiner know both have a beautiful, lyrical way with words, taking us on journeys filled with emotion that leave you crying in a heap. A Love Letter from the Girls Who Feel Everything is a combination of poetry and prose that touches on love, sadness, loneliness, strength, and heartbreak. I connected with many of the poems, either knowing the feeling previously or in the midst of the motions of one right now. They’re each beautiful and unique, some short and some long, but all part of the letter that these two wonderful woman have penned to us.
“Maybe we should’ve spoken
while the coffee brewed each
day.
Maybe we should’ve stated
the things that kept hurting us.
Maybe words would’ve helped
keep us from falling apart.
But maybe,
by mistake,
we simply forgot.”
Forgotten Words – B
I don’t often read poetry novels in one or even two sittings, I like to reach for them on occasions when I need their specific brand of companionship. Whether it is romance, sadness, anger, etc, poetry books to me are meant for those moments when you need to know you aren’t alone, that the feelings you have are not just yours alone. Reading this in one seating became repetitive, but I still found myself highlighting the titles of poems and prose that really called to me. If you are looking for a book of poetry that you can reach for, connect with, and allow to empower you.
*I do suggest purchasing the paperback, as the Kindle edition is missing artwork.*

Dear authors,
Thank you for bringing such a beautiful book to us. While reading I felt everything there was between those letters, there was under every meaningful words. Some got to my heart more than others and this kind of words are the best to hear sometimes, even if we think we don’t need it. Although everyone feel different, the intensity of it, in every situation, in the end, at the same time, we actually are not that different. We hurt and root for the same things. While reading it, even when the text was kinda sad, I saw two beautiful woman showing their strength and this is the best lesson I took from it.
Thank you.
And I’m signing it boldly at the bottom:
Mi
Beautiful work done by Brittainy and Kandi.
Love me slowly. Breathe me in. Tell me I’m more than all my worst sins. How to Love the Scars —B
They pen their heartache, their pain in prose and poetry with the same potency as their novels. I’ve been a forever staunch follower of both of them and this book shows a different side of them.
Took me decades back to my youthful times when getting a love note was followed by butterflies in the stomach, smile on my face and dreams in my eyes. I still have all of them stacked and preserved.
Some poems are about heartache, abandonment, betrayal of sorts.
I don’t want to lose you, and so I lose a little of myself, instead.
Because I want nothing more than to keep you in the sheets you’ve always fled.
Choices
The anguish of those who are in relationship but not there, like ghosters who flit in and out of your lives. Inspirational words to bolster your self worth are also included.
ALL in all a very different, refreshing read
A great effort and I hope they keep going

A Love Letter From The Girls Who Feel Everything lives up to it’s title. The emotion and power behind each and every poem will strike a cord with someone.
I love that every type of poetry form was captured in this collection that Cherry and Steiner gave us. The ebbs and flow of each one correlated perfectly with the emotion behind them.
This is a simple review because it’s a series of poems that you need to experience and feel for yourself. There were so many that I wanted to quote but I couldn’t pick just one and then I didn’t think it was fair to only pick just one. So I’m just going to say, read this collection. Go back to the time when emotions were portrayed through the written word with the right flow.

Kandi Steiner & Brittainy Cherry are two of my favorite authors, mainly in part because they have a talent of writing stories that bring out every emotion in the reader. Their words are always raw & beautiful, and somehow have the power to make you feel like you are the characters and not only read their stories, but live them. That is what this book is – a collection of their amazing words, their feelings pouring through the pages for everyone to experience along with them.
I haven’t read much poetry since high school, and I forgot how much I enjoy it. I loved reading A Love Letter from the Girls Who Feel Everything, and am pretty sure this is something I will be going back to again & again.
