Loved it. Couldn’t put it down
When family secrets are uncovered there can be many consequences, some good, some bad. This book brings together a couple that wouldn’t have met otherwise. A woman who is caught in the middle when her mother and brother are alienated from each other after the death of her father. A lawyer whose uncle has passed away and left only part of his estate to the expected beneficiaries.
I must confess, I only read a few chapters. The story line drew me in, but the language (peppered with GDs) disenchanted me. What could have been a good read turned out to be an abortion. Too bad gifted writers have the need to “enhance” their work by cursing, when they’re really just “trashing” it.
This author can write! From the title to the last line. Multiple characters had good development and interesting outcomes. Character and plot development instead repetitive angst.
This just isn’t my kind of book. Nothing particularly wrong but just wasn’t one I enjoyed.
Comfort in book form. Loved it
Well written and enjoyable.
You know right from the very first page that any book written by this author is going to be good. I love all the characters in this series.
Good reading.
This was a very quick easy to read book. The story and family dynamicso kept my interest, and the romantic part was good too.
