When Rynne Willowthorne made her wish and stepped into the fountain waters, she had no way of knowing what was waiting for her on the other side or that her life was about to change in unimaginable ways. Slogging out of the pond of the handsome Lord Brendan MacCailín may not have been the best way to make a first impression but he sure made one on her. Was it him, or her trip through time that … left her head spinning? Either way, her ability to make sound decisions seemed to have been washed away, especially when he began to do everything he could to win her heart and show her that he could help her fulfill the magic that had begun when she tossed her coin into the fountain with the somber stone dragon.

Rynne makes a pretty fantastic discovery about her people as well as herself when she travels across time and back to save her brother’s life. She finds her true love in the process. I love this story.
A wistful romance story with dragons, time travel, witches and magic… what’s not to love. A true page turner!
Rynne travels through time to find a cure for her brother. There are men chasing her as she travels back to her time.fate has brought her to Brendan. Can you imagine finding out that you come from a family of dragons and you are one which apparently is very rare. Looking forward to reading the next one
Holy historical romance! A Leap of Faith has taken my heart for sure to never return it. The main character Rynne while trying to find a cure for her ill brother falls into a fountain only to find herself not in her own time and coming out of the other side of Lord Brendan MacCailín’s pond. What she finds is herself in quite the fix and with one handsome Lord trying to prove his help and maybe his heart Rynne must decide if she is going to take her own leap of faith.
Rynne is looking for a cure for what ails her brother. While searching, she falls through time. Finding a way back, she meets Lord Brendan. OMG is that man handsome and more. She doesn’t realize that her life is about to change. It’s amazing what a wish with a coin can do when dropped into the right fountain. I loved this story. Looking forward to the next. Can’t wait.
A Leap of Faith
A really enjoyable story of fantasy and love. A story of time travel, mythological creature, and love. I loved the story.
What’s not to love?! It has dragons, time travel, historical romance, even a witch. It was fast paced and I enjoyed it from the very first page to the very last page. I will definitely have to check out the rest of the series.
From the opening sentence to the last, A Leap of Faith transports the reader to Rhynne’s fantastical world .A world of gypsies, witches, magic coins & potions and mythical dragons. Rhynne puts her faith in witches and gypsies to find the cure for her ill brother, traveling through time for the cure. When she wishes to return home she surfaces in the pond of Lord Brendan MacCailin. This leads to a sweet romance between Brendan and Rhynne , discovering themselves and their fate as they fall in love.Beautiful story and cleverly written -I highly recommend spending a couple of hours in this fun, whimsical world Ms. Boulanger has created.
This book didn’t snag my attention right away. I did not really like the way it started out, it was very confusing. It actually made me go back and make sure I was reading the first book in this series, because I thought I had missed something. Now saying all of that it quickly redeemed itself, and the middle/end of the book was well written. I know this is just a novella but I would have liked more background into the whole dragon heritage (just a small insert to explain the background). But overall enjoyed the story line once it got started.
Overall rating: 4.5 ( KU copy)
If you literally take one leap of faith and mix it with witches, dragons, and royalty, you end up with this amazing tale! I absolutely love the imaginative origins of the dragons! The mystery surrounding Sophie is still out there and wondering if she will be center stage in the future. In any case, this tale is full of astonishing characters that sweep you away down this unparalleled storyline!
Quick and easy read, the storyline is good, though I wish it had been a little more descriptive. The characters are endearing and who doesn’t love dragons!
Rynne’s journey to find a cure for what ails her brother hasn’t exactly gone the way she planned or thought it would.
First she had to request help from a witch (which scares the bejeezus out of her).
Then when she’s collecting the water, she swears she was pushed it. But when she surfaces she if fully aware that she is no longer in her time.
When she’s trying to collect what’s needed she’s being chased, for what she thinks is someone after the vial that will help her brother.
In the fountain she requests to go home only to discover she surfaces in the pond of Lord Brendan MacCailin.
Lord Brendan has been looking for Lady Rynne at the request of his friends mother. But to see her walking out of his pond has something clicking in place for the Lord that has his determined to keep Rynne as his.
Rynne’s journey from Lord Brendan’s kingdom to her own has her discovering secrets about herself and her family that she believed to only be fairytales.
I was really glad I gave this book a go. It’s a short clean read that drew me in from the first page.
Rynn travels forward in time to get something to try and save her brother’s life. She comes back and is dumped a couple days journey from home and meets Brenden. They are instantly attracted to each other and have amazing chemistry. I really enjoyed their story. It was less about the time travel and more about the paranormal, I think. However, her traveling forward in time plays an important role. I am looking forward to reading the rest in the series. This was a quick read but still had all the good aspects.
Leap of Faith encompasses time travel, witches, dragon shifter and a love story to last the ages. Rynne must trust a witch with a potion to cure her ailing brother what she doesn’t realize is she is trying her entire future. As she falls through time she lands in Brendan’s pond not understanding why she isn’t at home. As both Brendan and Rynne share their secrets they are more alike than they know. The story entices the reader and I read it in one sitting. The HEA ending and the story leading up to it is so worth the journey.
A beautiful fun story full of love, suspense and faith. I enjoyed the characters and the tension between them. I’d recommend this if you’re looking for a short sweet paranormal romance story of the power of believing.
Rynne is on a mission to save her brother’s life. She appears in Brendan’s pond and they are both taken with one another. However, she’s got too much on her mind saving her brother to really explore her feelings but Brendan doesnt give up. She’s his fate.
If your looking for a sweet romance with a twist of shifter in the mix this is for you! Its got time travel and intrigue. Wonderful story and I loved it. You’ll enjoy it too. I was sad when it ended and I enjoy her stories very much. This book rings true that if you believe anything is possible. All it requires is a Leap of Faith!
This book started with a bang and kept going right to the end. If you like time travel mixed with magic and dragons then you will love this book! It packs a lot of punch in a novella length story. I Can’t wait to read the rest of the books in this series!
