I have really enjoyed this series and it has gotten better as it has gone along. This one is a second chance romance and it took me to Scotland (another of my desired destinations). Darius is one of REKD’d billionaires and he has been roped into the newest charity and Eve, who was in the last book, brings the wish fulfillment candidate. Eve and Darius were best friends in school until the kiss and he left her and now they have the chance to get reacquainted and find out the feelings and chemistry is still just as strong. Along with that she brings her father back together with his estranged family. I really loved this story and how the rest of the REKD’d team have formed a family and stick up for each other. Definitely recommend this one and the entire series. Each can be read as a standalone if you choose.
An amazing standalone within the Rekd series. This engaging storyline has twists and turns, righting wrongs, drama, a second chance, restoring of a relationship, trust, and love. I was kept interested throughout with well developed interesting characters in this sweet clean romance of the 4th Rekd Billionaire and his HEA. The narration was incredibly done with great location descriptions.
This was an excellent book filled with travel, charity, family splits, mystery, and romance.
Eve is the daughter born of a Scottish emigrant and an American mother. Like her father and mother, she blazes her own path with offers her to opportunity to travel as a nurse with an organization that offers dream travel to sick patients.
Darius is tasked with leading up the charity project for his company and is excited to see Eve again. However, he hurt her once upon a time.
When everyone seems to have motives beyond what meets the eye, can Darius prove himself in time to protect Eve?
I received this ARC from Story Origin and am leaving a voluntary review.
I love that Darius and Eve reconnected when she was hired to assist with his company’s make a wish like charity. It was great to read about all the places they visited in Scotland and all the food they tried, although I don’t care what Eve says I have no desire to try haggis. I’m not a Potterhead, but there were so many places connected with J.K. Rowling and Harry Potter that I would love to see. There were funny, romantic, and some scary moments as they overcome trust issues and Eve meets a grandfather who disowned her father many years ago.
The narrator had a pleasant voice with accents and inflections in the right places.

I received a free copy of the novel Billionaires of REKD book 4: A Lass for the Billionaire by Donna K. Weaver and this review was given freely.
An easy flowing suspenseful second chance at love story filled with pride, jealousy, honor, some violence and a love which spans two continents. Irony, and wonderful characters make this an interesting and at times compelling story which contains a well blended complex plot containing family drama but also incorporates the disorders of Lupus, migraines, and drug addiction in an interesting and realistic way.
Distracted and disgruntled after his latest trip to Ireland, Kayn returns to REKD and makes plans for Darius to take over the Bucket-List Charity thus reuniting Bostonian Home Health Nurse Evelyn {Eve} Stewart with her high school best friend and crush, a former high school art teacher turned billionaire, Darius. Combining a 17 year old girl’s dream trip with Eve’s family’s problems, Eve and Darius travel to Edinborough Scotland and the land of her father’s birth where a sinister plot tries to prevent an estranged family reuniting and a secret threatens to keep Darius and Eve apart.
A great way to end the series. I have enjoyed getting to know the Billionaire Boys and their significant others. I really didn’t know much about Darius before this book and for some reason I thought Eve was older when I read Luck of the Billionaire. I’ll have to reread it now that I know Eve better. This was a fun book with some complex issues. It’s amazing what love can cause a person to do. I loved the scenery and the Scottish brogue and culture throughout the book. It was a fun addition to this beautiful story. I love a second chance romance and am grateful Darius and Eve got theirs.
I would say that this was one of my favorite out of the series but at this point with the last one in the series I really can not say which one was. I love the action of the story the character build and world build. It is a bitter sweet time though as with all series that end I get sad and just cry out one more. But I know Donna K. Weaver is most likely working hard at her newest series so we don’t have long to wait for another great story from her.
I love sweet romances especially if written by Donna Weaver.
This is the first book of a new series and I can’t wait to read more about these characters.
“A Lass for the Billionaire” by Donna K. Weaver
A wonderful contemporary romance. It is part of a series but can be read as a stand-alone… Although if you like this story as much as I did and it is the first in the series that you have read.. you will most likely want to look for and read the other stories in this series, too. I really enjoy sweet clean romance stories. I received a free ARC of this story and was asked to look for any typos etc and to give my honest review of the story. That said, If you like sweet contemporary romance with just a twist of suspense… I honestly believe you will like spending time with Darius & Eve, as they muddle through finding and claiming love. Happy Reading !!

I really enjoyed this story. It had depth, intertwined history, and a clean interracial romance that is hard to come by.
I always enjoy reading works by Ms. Weaver and this was no exception. The amount of detail she put in describing the scenery made me feel like I was really in Scotland.
Darius and Eve as so sweet together although there is some reticence from past hurts, but it wouldn’t be a second chance if there weren’t.
Definitely recommend.
A sweet second chance romance
Darius & Eve were best friends in high school, but he disappeared without a word not long after having kissed her. I liked that Eve, though hurt, acted like an adult & a professional when she encountered Darius again. I also liked that they first repaired their friendship before they became more. It made it seem more believable.
When Eve goes to see her estranged grandfather, things get a bit suspenseful & exciting. The ending is very sweet and satisfying
*Clean romance level: sweet kisses, nothing graphic
[The narrator did a great job with the characters, especially the Scottish accents]
This is the last book in the REKD’ed series. Each book takes place nearly at the same Time or close to it. Each of the billionaires find love. The narrator is wonderful with the different accents but otherwise some of the voices bothered me a little bit. This book focuses on finding healing and forgiveness. Darius and Eve were friends in the youth. Darius kisses Eve just before graduation. Then fearing he messed up his friendship pulls away trying to figure things out but due to circumstances he lost his chance. Now in the future they have a shot again. This book has a bit of mystery just like the others in this series.
A Lass for the Billionaire is the fourth book in the “Billionaires of REKD” saga. The first few chapters may leave the affectionate reader a little puzzled, given the similarity between this book and the second one of the series. Also, the worn out “left at the altar” theme doesn’t seem to bide well for the proceeding of the narration. Surprisingly though, the story quickly picks up rhythm and depth, as the protagonists’ personalities emerge and new, vivid and lively characters start populating the narration.
The brightest character is probably Eve’s. First introduced in book 2, Eve is not only a competent and dedicated professional but reveals herself as an intelligent, resolute and caring young woman. Determined to mend the wedge between her father and his long lost family, she is capable of listening to everyone’s position with an open mind. Her wise remarks and loving encouragements are instrumental in making even the most hardened family members to see things in a new light. Her affectionate banter with her father and grandfather is one of the highlights of the story.
Due to the unfortunate circumstances of her past, Eve is shy of romantic relationships and pretends complete honesty before granting her trust.
Many of the personages in the copious cast of characters surrounding the protagonists deserve a special mention.
One good example is Eve’s grandfather, a strong-willed, 90-years-old Scottish gentleman. Joe, Darius’s bodyguard, also introduced in book 2, is once again a fatherly figure to one of the owners of REKD Gaming. Finally Noah, Sona’s cousin, a bright and irresistible Irish teenager.
Another highlight of the book is the vivid and colorful description of the Scottish landscape, historical landmarks, and traditional food.
Overall, A Lass for the Billionaire is a charming and captivating book, with a heartwarming and intriguing storyline, a great cast of characters and witty dialogues. After a slightly slow beginning, the story flows easily, enthralling the reader and resulting in a very pleasant reading experience.
