Beatrice has lived her entire life under the threat of a horrible curse that has haunted her family for generations; a curse that promises to bring misfortune upon her family’s future, if she doesn’t marry before the age of 20. It was easy enough to ignore this curse while growing up as it belonged to the distant future, but time is suddenly counting down fast and her 20th birthday is closer than … than ever. Beatrice is utterly conflicted as she hasn’t discovered true love yet and would much prefer to be a spinster, alive or dead, than entrapped in a loveless marriage… How could she overlook her family’s fear and her own responsibility for their safety though?
Anthony’s attention is immediately caught by Beatrice’s striking presence, even though this was the last reason he was out in town for. It was a blessing of pure luck, as he swiftly saved her life by shoving her out of the way of an approaching carriage. However, the rest of his life hasn’t been gifted with as much luck, as the rumours that surround his family name are even worse than the ones of Beatrice’s. Despite him being the only one knowing the real truth behind the rumours, society seems to have already condemned him to shame. Will the sincerity of his growing feelings manage to wash away the concerns that wrap his tainted reputation.
Both Beatrice and Anthony carry their own large portion of misfortune and have faced a lot of prejudice by society. Their feelings for each other might be undeniable, but they still have to face a lot of doubt with their own selves, as well as by those around them. Will their love prove strong enough to fill their hearts with faith and certainty or will their preconceptions be too much to bear? If only society managed to overlook the unjustified prejudice towards them… The obstacles are many, but on the other end lies the redemption of true love. Will Beatrice and Anthony’s crave to be redeemed by love’s freedom be strong enough to overcome the endless hurdles in the end?
“A Lady’s Search of Love and Redemption” is a historical romance novel of approximately 80,000 words. No cheating, no cliffhangers, and a guaranteed happily ever after.

This story starts out with the belief in a curse that may or may not exist, because two women in the family that didn’t marry before the age of twenty died. This story shows the tragedy of forcing women to marry before they are ready, and telling and retelling stories to put fear in these women’s hearts. Anthony on the other hand has a secret that has been wrongly placed on him, but even Beatrice’s parents are willing to consider marriage of Beatrice to Anthony. Beatrice and Anthony have to find a way to bring the wrong on the right person, so that can be together. The problem is that the right person is Anthony’s brother. This story is well written, but sometimes it’s seems a little long winded to get somewhere. I actually lost interest at least twice while reading this story.
Rumors and curses, oh my!
Born into a family of cursed women (if they don’t marry before they are twenty), Beatrice and her younger first cousin, Florentia, are determined to marry for true love or not at all. The curse can do its worse, which is pretty gruesome since both girls will be dead shortly after their twentieth birthdays.
When a carriage almost runs them over, it seems fate wants to take an early trophy or two. Fortunately, a stranger, Anthony, manages to shove the two girls out of the way in the nick of time. Although Beatrice admires Anthony, she fails to get his last name, and he fails to get hers.
It is a shame that the first man Beatrice likes has a bad reputation and her family curse is legion.
Read to find out what happens in this comedy of errors, errors that originate from all directions. Aria has written another excellent story with a few atypical subplots to pique your interest. Read the tale now, and you will find humor in the fallacies of human nature.
These two have a lot of bad luck and baggage. They must do something even if they are not ready to save their families. But they are attracted to each other despite all of that. Very emotional, exciting, suspenseful, intriguing, surprising and much more. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.
