A Lady in Danger by Eliza McGrey
McGrey is a new author to me, and I enjoyed this historical short story. The storyline is well written with mysterious characters that have you guessing what’s coming next. By the end I had my own elaborate scenario all figured out… but to my disappointment, I guessed wrong! There was only one bummer for me in this book, and that is because it’s a cliffhanger! However, although I have issues with cliffhangers, I did not deduct stars or credit from the author’s work. My impatient stress for having to know what happens in the end for closure, is my and my therapist issue’s to work on, and not the fault of the author! Lol! This was a fun novel and I look forward to reading more from this author.
I received a ARC copy of this book via Booksprout. I volunteered to leave an non biased review, which is all my own opinions.
