Loved it.
Very Engaging
This book is awesome packed with action and suspense. A wild roller-coaster of emotions and adventures.
Omer captures your attention from the get go. Well written and highly complex characters keep readers engaged. I’m not normally one to read cliff-hangers or sequels, but I am highly motivated to move on to the next book in this series and would recommend to anyone asking if this is worth it…..absolutely yes!
Omer captured this readers attention from the very first chapter. Well written and highly complex characters keep readers engaged. The plot is full of twists and turns.
I highly recommend this book to fans of the thriller genre.
Haunted by a serial killer who happened to be living next door to her as a teenager, the main character of the story, Dr. Zoe Bentley, a forensic psychologist, decides to pursue hunting them as an adult. What an incredible thriller of twists and turns as Zoe and her new FBI partner, Tatum, decide to hunt serial killers together.
The main serial killer they were hunting was in desperate need of a female partner, but he didn’t want them alive. He was not only killing them but embalming them, so that he could pose them and make them his eternal girlfriend forever. That must’ve been quite a scene at the dinner table! And he’d never have to complain about any nagging! LOL
I absolutely loved this book and I am looking forward to more adventures with Zoe and Tatum!
4.5 stars. I love books like this! Where they do research and developed the story, making it more interesting. Like the embalming and the profile. Omer took the time to do his research and you can tell! I like both Zoe and Tatum. They both have flaws which makes them human and likable.
This was a really great book. The heroine was relatable and funny. The whole story was gripping and kept you on the edge of your seat. Impossible to put down.

I was feeling hesitant to start another thriller. Lately I have been running into thrillers being predictable and a big let down. Not this thriller! It kept you guessing and wanting to know more with every turn of the page. When you thought you had it all figured out BAM a twist. Highly highly recommended.

I love a thoughtful thriller and this book exceeded expectations. I loved the main character, she was smart and flawed, and her flaws made her interesting. She’s a profiler, a very good one and she started at a young age. I couldn’t put this book down and can’t wait for the next in the series, which is at the top of my auto-buy list now.
I was LOVING this book. It was going to be a solid 4 or maybe 5 stars, until the last page had the cliffhanger. If you wrote a great book you don’t need tricks to keep your readers!!
That garbage Lost this one!
Excellent book, tightened by a superb plot. Excellent writing. Good luck to Mike Omer for this magnificent book.
One of my favorite books this year!
Love the idea of forensic psychology and Zoe Bentley is just the perfect representation of the stereotypical practitioner…..shaped by tragedy in her past!
This was a page-turner because the motive for the murders was so hard to figure out. Zoe (the lead character) had a very difficult time profiling this killer and trying to keep her personal tragedy separate – or did she?
I could not put this book down! Trying to figure out who the killer is, never suspecting the who or why til the very end. Amazing read! I truly will recommend this book and this author to anyone who enjoys getting into a serial killers mind.. or even enjoys the Law and Orders, Criminal Minds, etc.
Zoe and Tatum both have pasts they would rather forget. Teaming up doubles their trouble. A twisting thriller that keeps your attention, but it is not over yet. On to book 2
This was my Amazon First for July. Wow! I cannot recommend this new series highly enough!
A killers mind is an amazing thriller that will keep you guessing until the very end. I love that the story is told from all points of view, from Zoe Bentley (profiler), the FBI agent, to the killer and even the victims, this give a truly excellent and well rounded account of the crimes and detective work. I feel this is how all thrillers, crime, and mysteries should be written.
I found the characters endearing and made you care what was going to happen to them next, the story draws you in with not just the investigations and crimes but also the humour, character interactions and the amazing twists you do not see coming, there was even a “ oh my god know” moment that pushes a thriller from good to extraordinary.
This was a truly excellent book and I would highly recommend to everyone, I can’t wait for book 2.
