Jealousy’s a real bitch, but so is his ex-girlfriend.Maxwell Penn is my lover, my boss and my Dom. He pushes me emotionally as well as sensually, in all the ways a girl should be pushed by the man she loves. Sure, some days, I still swing back and forth between wanting to strangle him and wanting to straddle him, but I wouldn’t give him up for the world. Oh, did I mention there’s talk of him … of him taking me to a Swingers’ Ball at a local lifestyle club?
So yeah, our relationship is positively sizzling. At least, it is until Boudoir Fashion Week, when Max’s college girlfriend explodes back into his life, and everything goes south. Giselle Dubois is tall, svelte, and so stunning that I feel the need to wear sunglasses whenever she’s around.
Using her sensuality and intimate knowledge of Max’s past, Giselle embarks on a mission of manipulation to acquire something Max “took” from her years ago, but it’s not just knowledge of his past she has in her arsenal. She knows my past. My family’s secrets. The dark stain that has marred my family since I was a child. But Giselle isn’t the only threat facing us. There is another monster in our midst, one far more cunning and deadly.
Publisher’s Note: This steamy contemporary romance contains elements of power exchange.

Can she really trust him
A Hot Mess is the first book I have read by this author and it will not be the last if the others are like this one. I will say that I had to put this book aside because it is a continuation book in the series. So just be warned that you have to read the prior book, His For the Taking first. But once I got that one finished I came back to read A Hot Mess and enjoyed the heck out of it.
There was suspense, danger and a whole lot of BDSM and D/s going on. The author has done a nice job with the story-line and written well developed characters, main and supporting.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
BDSM romance with suspense and danger.Their relationship is base on trust, not only physical but emotional, too.
They are very good together, they support each other in every way.
Unexpectedly his ex- girlfriend shows up and she is ready to take him back, she knows his secrets and will use against him.
The plot is well written and keeps you turning pages.
In between suspense and danger is sweet love and steamy sex.

This is book 2 in the Red Light Fantasies series & I admit I haven’t read book 1, which didn’t impact my enjoyment. This book commences with Maxwell & Breanne already in a relationship, so I’m presuming that up until that point was covered in book 1. This however, was a really enjoyable read. They were great characters in a wonderful story which included a good bit of drama. While it didn’t exactly finish on a cliffhanger, there were storylines which didn’t conclude, so I’m looking forward to book 3.
When I started reading this story, I could not put it down. I read the book in one day. This author is an awesome writer. I can not wait to read more of their books. Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book.

Breanne and Max have a relationship that they hare happily building when Giselle (Max’s old flame) decides she wants to interfere. This is a well written story about how people’s past can come back to haunt them if they do not deal with it or are honest about it. This is romance, BDSM and suspense all rolled into one great story.

Can Anything Stop Tornado Giselle?
Breanne Jennings and Maxwell Penn have been a couple for four months, and their romance was zizzling.
At least it was until his college girlfriend tornadoes through during fashion week and weaved back into the life of her target Max.
Giselle Dubois wants what Max took from her years ago. And nothing will stop her until she gets it. Giselle knows not only about Max’s past but also about Breanne’s and her families past. The secret that plagued Breanne since she was a baby.
Then there is another danger lurking nearby.
Will this destroy Max and Breanne or make them both stronger? Will Max be able to keep them both safe?
I had a bit of difficulty with this book. There is a lot here, and it is written well, but for some reason, I had trouble connecting with the characters. So I had to mark this as 4 stars.

When your boss is also your lover and Dom, life can be a little tricky. When you have secrets, serious secrets, you have to look over your shoulder constantly. She’s not sure she wants Max to know about her past. Can she trust him? Now Giselle, his ex comes back and she’s one more thing to worry about. She is an evil, dangerous heifer and I’m not so sure I would be as restrained as Breanne. I enjoyed this read. They are very sexy together. BDSM, swinging.

This is book two of a series. You do not need to read book one first, but if would help. I’m going back to book one to read.
Bree and Max are an interesting couple. They’ve been dating a few months, but haven’t told anyone. There are many problems between them that must be solved.
I enjoyed the story and the HFN ending. I read this through KU.
