They say opposites attract; it’ll take a Christmas miracle to keep this couple from killing one another!Agnes Piercy is finally going to make her mark now that she’s in charge of the Honeyhaven Winter Wonderland. She’s created a new event this year—Santa’s Village—which will bring in tons of tourists and money for charities and church ministries, and secure her a full client list when she opens … she opens up her own event planning business. But things go haywire from the get-go, including her feelings for one Tuck Renner.
Tuck Renner has been tasked (against his will) with building the Santa’s Village which means taking orders from Miss Bossy Pants herself—Agnes Piercy. But she’s off to a seriously rocky start. Feeling sorry for her, and a lot sorry for himself having to hear about it day in and out, he vows to make this the greatest event ever. But things don’t go as planned. However, they may go exactly like they were meant to.

A Honey of a Christmas is a fun friends-to-romance story. Agnes and Tuck are great together with lots of flirty bantering. The setting of a small town at Christmastime is wonderful. Although the good side of small town living is shown, so is the bad; but there is redemption for all of the characters. The plot moves along, and the dialogue is natural. I really like Jessica Patch’s writing style and highly recommend this book.
I just love Jessica Patch’s stories and this novella is among the best! Tuck and Agnes are definitely opposites, but oh, so, right for one another, if they don’t hurt each other first!
The humor in this novella will have you laughing out loud and the romance will have you sighing! A fun, quick read to get you in the mood for the Christmas season!
This is a sweet overtly Christian story set in a small town at Christmas.
Neither wants to risk losing a friend by trying to add romance to their relationship.
Never mind the way their hearts react, or that fact that they can’t stop thinking about the other, or they keep doing nice things for each other… It doesn’t mean anything… does it?
Sweet Romantic Christmas Read
If you are looking for a short, sweet, clean romantic Christmas read with a dash of faith, this is for you. This book has witty banter, moments that will make you laugh, and moments that will make you swoon. I needed to read something light that made me smile and this was the perfect choice.
This is the second novella in a series. Although characters from the first novella are referenced, you can still enjoy this novella without having read it.
Agnes and Tuck are interesting main characters as they work to set up a Christmas Village! Life will never be the same! I recommend this quick Christmas read to others.
This is an easy read. I really enjoyed the wit in this story. I had waited for Tuck to get his own book and loved it. Everyone needs to read and learn how to do the Tuck Shuffle. Jessica kept me laughing throughout the story. It would be a great read during the holiday season to relieve stress and get in the Christmas spirit.
This book was so enjoyable! From the very beginning to the very end it had me laughing at all the funny conversations and mishaps Agnes got into. I loved the many crazy songs she came up with and all the cute Christmas movie references.
It would be fun to know her. I think we’d be friends.
One of the things, I could connect with her about, is how I also understand her issues of low self-esteem. I feel many women could relate to it.
Now let’s talk about Tuck…Oh My Goodness! Such a generous guy! Yet a little crazy with all his issues regarding his dating life. Yet, he truly has a heart for others and God.
I hope you pick this book up and let it get you in the spirit of Christmas! It just might tickle your heart.
I was given this book by the author for an honest review, all opinions are my own.
