Ben is a Pebble Gifting Season reject. He wandered the cold streets of Anchorage for three weeks straight, hoping an alpha would give him a pebble. But no one did.
Axel is banished. He lost his temper four years ago and almost killed the alpha who abandoned his brother. Now he can only spend a handful of days per year in Anchorage, which is when he comes upon a sad penguin shifter in a wrinkled … wrinkled tuxedo.
When Cyrano runs into Ben and Axel by chance, he decides to lure them both to bed. Clearly, Ben needs someone to show him how irresistibly attractive he is, and Axel needs to be reminded that he’s a good man, despite what happened in the past.
Cyrano’s sure he can do both at the same time. On the same night. After all, he’s good at multitasking. It’s a perfect plan. Until he falls in love. With both of them.
A Home for Ben is an MMM romance with an accidental pet tortoise, two omegas who get pregnant at the same time, and cameos from previous characters in the Alaskan Pebble Gifters series. This book is the third in the series, and will only make sense if you’ve read the first two books.
Please note that A Home for Ben includes both traditional MPreg and MPreg of the penguin egg variety.

Amy Bellows is masterful in combining the super sweet with the seriously hot! I’ve not encountered a blend quite this satisfying. In ‘A Home for Ben, Alaskan Pebble Gifters Book 3’, we encounter a poor penguin shifter who was not gifted with a pebble during the season. He shows up at a polar bear bar in Anchorage in his wrinkled tuxedo determine to try all those things he avoided as a good penguin shifter anticipating his life partnership. He encounters polar bear alpha Axel who was banished for nearly killing the alpha who abandoned his pregnant omega brother. With the banished branding, Axel is refused service at the bar and he leaves taking Ben with him to grab a bite at another club with a B & D specialty. They meet Cyrano there and they all manage to go back to Ben’s motel room together. Though omega, Cyrano is more alpha-like in his preference for sexual domination and aggressive intimacies. Axel is an alpha with a nature that is nurturing, compassionate, and sweet. He seems just what Ben needs to bring him along. Ironically, Cyrano seems to provide the right incentive to bring Axel out of his self-imposed celibacy resulting from his banishment. Cyrano helps to train Ben to be a good ‘boy’ in a daddy dom MMM menage relationship that results in Ben finding love and a family after all. The change in narrators does not hurt the series one bit. Zachary Zaba employs excellent vocalizations when narrating the third book that perfectly suits each of the main characters in Book 3!
I really loved all the strong feelings and the battle for love and power between all the men. Ben is sweet but he posses his own strength. I was so glad that he was the piece that helped Alex and Cyrano have their best life together as well. I also love the twists this series is taking us on as well move through the stories.
I listened to the audio version. It was very well done and very enjoyable.
Penguins, polar bears, and Daddies…oh my!
Amy Bellows has been one of my favorite mpreg authors since I picked up a copy of A Pebble for Lewis and practically inhaled it in one sitting. From that moment on I’ve devoured all of her work without a lick of disappointment. Because of that, I was happy to snap onto the offer of listening to A Home for Ben for an honest review. It’s book three of the Pebble Gifter series and I was excited about the offer! A book by Amy Bellows about a sweet penguin shifter and two polar bear Daddies which is read by Drew Bacca? What could be better? The answer is nothing, my friends. A Home for Ben was awesome!
After being abandoned as an infant in Cheyenne, Ben found a hint about where his family might have come from. So, for his pebble-giving season, he found his way to Anchorage in search of a mate. The eager little penguin shifter planned to find his mate and then go in search of his family on the North Slope. However, that wasn’t meant to be. After three weeks of trudging around Anchorage, Ben hadn’t found a mate. Dejected, our little penguin finds himself drinking alone in a bar.
Enter Axel! Axe is an Alpha polar bear shifter with a bit of a problem. After losing his temper and taking it out on a certain individual, Axe is seen as a danger. To protect others from his rage he was banished to the North Slopes. However, he’s in town for a Council meeting when he sees a boy in need of some kindness. Axe quickly takes little Ben under his wing, the Daddy part of his nature kicking in.
When the bartender won’t serve Axe because he’s a Rager, they blow off the bar and head for the Anchor Club where they run in Cyrano. Cy is an omega polar bear with an interesting personality. He knows he’s an omega but doesn’t identify as one. Instead, he takes on a more dominant, alpha role when it comes to playing with boys. Oh, and Cy and Axe were lovers before Axe was banished to the slopes.
What do you get when you put all three of these fellas together? You have a wonderful threesome with an interesting dynamic. Two Daddy polar bears looking after a sweet penguin boy in desperate need of loving. A perfect mixture of personalities, kinks, and love.
I really loved how Amy and Drew brought these characters to life. They were all unique in their own ways which made for a heartwarming story with diverse characters. The introduction of the Rusalka was fascinating. I love the wonderful world and lore development. It really shows how much time and effort Amy has put into making her mpreg series one with great detail.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in the mpreg genre. If you liked the previous Pebble Gifter books, enjoy Amy’s work, or enjoy the talented narration of Drew Bacca, definitely give this book a chance!
4.25 Stars!
This was a great addition to the series. I’m usually wary of MMM because I sometimes end up feeling like someone would feel left out. That was so not the case here. Axel, Cyrano, and Ben all had a specific role in their trio, and it felt like they balanced each other. It didn’t hurt that they were really hot together.
I enjoyed the mystery to Ben’s past and seeing Cyrano come to terms with being an Omega with dominant tendencies and Axel regain his confidence and life back after being ostracized for so long.
I really liked Zachary Zaba’s narration. He did a really good job bringing these three men to life. Recommendable!
A Home for Ben is the third book in the Alaskan Pebble Gifters series, an omegaverse shifters with mpreg. The series needs to be read in order otherwise certain plot and world building elements will be a bit confusing. This series is full of sweet fluff mixed with elements of suspense, mystery, and mild angst. I really enjoyed learning more about polar bear and penguin shifter cultures and the secrets both shifter species hide. I was fascinated by the world building – it was engaging and unique and intertwined very nicely with the mystery of both shifter cultures. The romance between Ben, Axel, and Cyrano was adorable and steamy. My favorite part was the nesting scenes and seeing the touching interaction between all three men.
The audiobook was narrated by Zachary Zaba who did a fantastic job. I really enjoyed how he narrated all three of the main characters and I was easily immersed in the story. The audiobook production was also very well done.
Loving this series, I hope more come to audio
Although Amy is a new to me author, I have now listened to 3 of her books, the same series and loving them. I am now going to hunt down the next book in the series.
Her world-building ability is very believable, and her characters are fantastic. I really enjoyed the nesting scenes, funny but unique at the same time. The choices for pets is def unusual.
Excellent writing and imagination. Well worth the read.
Good clear narration, although depending on how I feel, I do speed him up a little. Listened at about 1.30 on audible.

A Home for Ben
Alaskan Pebble Gifters, Book 3
By: Amy Bellows

Amy Bellows pens another darling of a book in her Alaskan Pebble Gifters series. I am loving this fascinating world she created filled with equally fascinating characters, shifters from different cultures with different traditions and practices. She adds a little more magic into this book too with mermaids and merman legends. Character and world building are everything in this book, the back stories to these characters is absolutely amazing. Ben was left at a fire house when he was a baby, he lived in foster care his whole life, he came back to Anchorage to find more information about himself and his parents who did not want him, he was also hoping an alpha would give him a pebble. No luck with that but he does meet Axel who is an Alpha and one he is interested in unfortunately Axel is in no position to mate, he also meets Cyrano, who has history with Axel and a deep connection. Axel is afraid to repeat the history with Cyrano, despite the deep connection. Ben and Cyrano get on well too, but thinks Axel with bond with Ben and he would just be third wheel . What Cyrano does not realize is that Ben is the one who balances out the perfect trio. Once again, I loved everything plays out in this book, the romance, the mpreg, the mystery of Bens mother, Axel new job, even their pet tortoise. Amy Bellows, thank you for another fabulously entertaining story, I loved every minute of it.
And for the wonderful narration, Zachary Zaba is a talented narrator and voice artists. He did an awesome job bringing these characters to life, giving each their own voice and personality. He is great at portraying the different characters, taking each role and making it is own, sounding believable in that role and just as I picture them to sound. He sets the perfect tone for the story, captures all of the characters emotions and projects them into his performance. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen
Thank you GRR
Sometimes you have to read a book with this much action and info a second time just to make sure you read it correctly the first time.
This is a book that requires a quiet room and complete concentration. No, it’s not a hard read, it’s just there is so much to digest. I originally had issues with the character Cyrano (polar bear shifter), but I now realized that I was very distracted when I read this book the first time. Now, I recognize what I had missed. Boy, talk about a revelation! Now Amy Bellows’ characterization of Cyrarno hits correctly with my conscience.
I have never met three such contrary characters find themselves as lifetime partners. It’s what all three of them want in the first place even though polar bears are believed to be beyond long-term relationships. And I am grateful that Ms. Bellows wrote about such a hodge-podged triad (not a trio) could find love for each other. Alpha, omega, in-charge (this is how Cyrano sees himself). And it works beautifully with these three. Oh! And, of course, one is a penguin shifter in a town where polar bears and penguin shifters are at odds with each other. But if Todd and Lewis as well as Daniel and Ansel can do it, why can’t they?
The world-building increases, including answers to questions that popped up from the previous books in this series. I am definitely enjoying this collection, and I can’t wait to see how the rest goes.
A Home for Ben iby Amy Bellows is the third book in the Alaskan Gifters series. This is a shifter mpreg lovestory with a MMM relationship, a beautiful story, and amazing characters. Ben, Axel and Cy are so fun! And hot! Loved this!
Another great book in this series! I actually wish this book had been a touch longer in order to give more time to the world building and another scene or two that was only mentioned, but I do love the story as written. Each of the characters is unique and believable and fun to read about, and the three absolutely work together. I especially loved Cy’s characters; there were a few parts where I had to pause and re-read some of his lines. For those who are skeptical of poly relationships, or maybe just wary of reading about them, Amy does a wonderful job with these three men.
No spoilers – the nesting scene is so much fun and on brand for this author and series. I swear that Amy’s nesting scenes just keep getting better and better!
I highly recommend this entire series. I’m really looking forward to the next book.
I received this book to right a honest review.
I like that the books are getting longer, more of them to love! I am usually not a fan of 3 main characters it can start getting confusing. Amy Bellows does a great job of keeping it organized so that the story flows nicely.
I would definitely read the books in order but you don’t have to.
I absolutely loved this book and this series.
Ben, Axel and Cy were such great characters.
Each had their own struggles and felt they were somehow lacking.
The journey they took to the realization that together they were stronger than individually was absolutely beautiful.
Cue the waterworks with this one with some mild angst and all the happy ever afters.
My heart broke so many times in the story but each and every time it was repaired and brought a smile to my face.
Ben has travel to anchorage to find his mate he has never fitted in and now he feels like this is the place for him. That is until his final day of pebble gifting season and he is still on his own. That is until he bumps into Axe.
Axe has been banished for a crime that while he committed it was with good reason. When he bumps into Ben with his sad eye and wrinkled tux he knows he need to help him out. With the help of Cy.
Cy isn’t a typical Alpha or Omega he is just Cy but finding someone to love and accept him will be hard. Or so he thought until he bumps into a tiny little bird.
I loved that Ben could turn these to big aggressive passionate men into big softies with a look or a touch. He is the glue to hold everything together.
My favorite scene in the whole book had to be the nest it was so fun but incredibly sweet also.
4.5 stars Regarding his tattoos, the man next to him seems to be dangerous, but Ben, the little penguin shifter, doesn’t care anymore.
This was the last night of the Pebble Gifting Season, with no mate he’s still alone and very lonely. Ben was on his way to try and find his family. No success so far…
So when Axe suggests a diner Ben thinks this isn’t the worst thing.
Axe is the big dangerous looking polar bear shifter, and he’s taking Ben to Anchor a club for people interested in relationships with Daddy/boy dynamic. After hearing this, Ben’s mouth hit the ground. There is another polar bear shifter named Cy and he joins them to the diner. Ben is attracted to both men but calling them Daddy is something else.
They take Ben to Cy’s house. Ben can’t believe he’s sandwiched by two dominants.
They fit so well. Ben understands these two strong polar bears have a past together, one with big misunderstandings.
“I’m lost. Completely. But I’m also found.”
Axe is punished because he raged to protect his brother and that isn’t allowed. As by a miracle he’s set free, but obligated to work as a welder for the rusalka, in secrecy at a magical place. The rusalka are dangerous, Axe has to be a parent or else he will get in big trouble.
I can’t get into much detail. Believe me when I tell there is a lot of story around all three shifters.
When it’s time to receive beautiful things are happening
A Home for Ben means so much more than those four letters.
This author knows how to write entertaining (shifter) stories, with a clear vision the author writes about hurt, comfort, a delicious portion of sexiness, excellent fantasy and a good plot. All the necessary ingredients for a great time.
A penguin, a dominant omega polar bear, and an alpha rager with a heart of gold walk into a bar..
OMG what a great addition to the Alaskan Pebble Gifters saga. This third book is indeed a charm. I could not put it down. It has it all: old friends, adorable babies, a tortoise, humor, MMM sexy scenes that will leave you breathless, and a nesting scene that will touch your heart. Ooh, and you will never look at legos the same way ever again. I loved this book!
When Ben shows up in a bear bar wearing a rumpled tuxedo on the last day of Pebble Gifting Season, Axe knows something is terribly wrong. Something about the little penguin calls to his alpha instincts. So he takes him to a club where they meet Cyrano, a dominant omega with a past with Axe. Ben knows Axe is an outcast. But he trusts him, accepts his kindness. After all, Been had been rejected, unable to find a mate. Abandoned while still in the egg, Ben is looking for his family. Rejection tends to be a common thread for him. Hooking up with Axe is just what he needs. But add Cy to the mix? What a way to lose your v- card! The attraction between the three of them is as immediate as it is inevitable. But Axe must return to the Slope. That is until an old friend’s mother intervenes. Tana not only gets Axe a job, she helps Ben find the truth about his mother.
In a quirk of fate, both Ben & Cy end up pregnant at the same time. When Ben starts nesting and calls for the pillow man, he also collects animals, and ultimately includes Cy (who is on bed rest) as past of his nest. I couldn’t hold in my laughter. Two births and three babies later, all is right in the world. You will love this book!
I recommend reading the first two books in order. A Pebbles for Lewis and An Egg for Ansel. Besides giving you the background to fully enjoy this book, they are great reads! Time well spent.
This book contains adult themes and language, mmm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
A Home for Ben is the third book in the Alaskan Pebble Gifters series by author Amy Bellows. I loved this story it is both hot and cute at the same time. This has all the POVs of the men divided into chapters, so you know who is thinking what and it doesn’t get confusing.
I also liked that everyone in this ménage is necessary. No one feels left out or just there off to the side.
Ben is a penguin shifter. He has come to Alaska to feel like he belongs. He grew up in foster care and is a kind gentle person. He is also brave he is willing to go try new experiences, even if they are scary to him.
Axel is a polar bear shifter. He is alpha. He was also banished and tattooed for going into a rage. It is believed that once you rage you cannot come back from that. I think Axel is the exception to that rule. He is kind, sweet, and a very good daddy.
Cyrano, I think he is the most necessary of the men. He is the glue that holds everyone together. He might be an Omega, but he acts like the Alpha he is in his mind. I liked he is kind, rough, understanding, and very much in love with Axel when we meet him.
Each man has their own personal experiences and trials in this book. They all blend into a beautiful story that I loved to read. The ending is super sweet as well. I cannot wait for more from this series in the future.
Five Shooting Stars
I’m surprised that, even with this being the third book in this series, there is still so much to learn about this world! I love the little secrets and the hints at the larger story arcs between, not only the other books in the series, but the other series by this author. A really nice, low angst read!
What a wonderful story. Ben truly is the glue, the coolness that makes this trio work. Axel and Cyrano need Ben to be that buffer. The emotional connections, the chemistry it’s off the charts. Loved it.
Ok really. These stories and this world just get more complicated in the best way.
Ben is an orphan shifter raised outside of penguin shifter society. He is documenting his pebble gifting season on social media and really just took the biggest risk of his life by relocating to Alaska and he did not get a pebble.
Axel is marked as an alpha who cannot control his temper so he is confined to the north slope and Cyrano is his best friend and an omega polar bear who does not present as an omega. So the three of them hook up and let the games begin.
So we know this is going to be a tough story, right? And we know Amy would not leave us hanging so she has to make it so all three get their happily ever after. Did I mention Axel has an omega brother with no alpha and no money so if anything happens to him Lu and his nephew go down, too? The story arc changes and gets a little dark and it’s awesome. While bonding and mating is happening all over the place, we start to realize there is an ugly side to all of this.
I will not say more other than there is so much laughter and cuteness- the turtle is a riot- and the birthing nest had me belly laughing. The little hints from earlier stories now get explained and bam! I did a happy dance because this just elevated from a cutesy series to something seriously awesome.
